Ecuador Christmas Roses

Merri and I received our first Christmas gift yesterday.  50 fresh Christmas roses from Ecuador.

Subscribe to two years of Ecuador Living.  Save $79 plus receive 50 roses free.

You can order the 50 fresh cut roses for $79 ($20 is donated to help Ecuador’s poor) here.

You can order 50 red and white fresh cut roses for $89 ($20 is donated to help Ecuador’s poor) here.

I immediately placed half on our kitchen table and by this morning they were fully opened and incredible!

Here they are.

The other half went in our living room in front of the fireplace.

I learned last year that Ecuador roses can fill some shopping gaps and am sending roses to others for their holiday cheer.  Christmas shopping done..hooray!

You can have fresh Ecuador Christmas roses yourself or send them as gifts as well…plus help Ecuador’s poor.

You can have 50 fresh cut (four days) roses from Ecuador delivered to any zip code in the USA…including Hawaii or Alaska including shipping for only $79 or better still get 50 Ecuador Christmas roses free.

The Ecuador rose plantation offers two color choices,  farm choice assorted or red and white.  There is a $10 surcharge for the red and white rose selection.

Here I am with 250 fresh Ecuador roses I had delivered for Merri’s birthday last summer.

Merri and I love Ecuador for the warmth and friendliness in the hearts of its people. We also love Ecuador’s beauty.  When an opportunity to send Ecuador roses and raise money for the poor occurred earlier this year, we grabbed the chance.

Last year I wrote about the roses, made a special offer and sold over 20,000 roses that raised $8,000 to help Ecuador’s poor. The money was used to provide schooling for gifted indigenous children, to buy a  InFocus projector used in our free English classes for Ecuadorian children and help repair an Ecuadorian school.

So when the roses came to me yesterday, I thought, “Why not again”?

There and then I decided to make a special offer. Here it is.

We will continue to donate $20 for each rose order to help the poor in Ecuador for every 50 roses that are shipped because of this note.

The minute I receive your order, I’ll put you directly in touch with the rose plantation so you can choose your color option which is either red and white, or farm’s choice.

There are three ways to obtain 50 fresh cut roses.

One. We provide a service called Ecuador Living to assist those with a genuine and immediate interest in Ecuador. This service shares our continual research and experiences in global business, living and investing in Ecuador plus our contacts. We feel the service is a bargain at $119 a year.  If you already subscribe you can take this choice and add two years to your subscription.

If you subscribe for two years, I’ll reduce the price from $238 to $159 and also send you 50 fresh cut, premium roses FREE.

Fedex will deliver the Ecuador roses directly to you from Ecuador.  Open them. If you are not satisfied that these are truly remarkable roses, give them back to the Fedex driver and let me know. I’ll give you a full $159 refund.

To assure the refund, your address must be correct and you must inspect the flowers with Fedex when they are delivered. If you are not satisfied, the roses must be returned at the time of delivery.   You must assure that someone is at the receiving address who is available to inspect and sign for the roses to assure the guarantee.

If you do not have a great interest in Ecuador but just want these incredible, fresh roses. Simply buy them for $79 for 50 fresh cut roses including delivery by Fedex. ($10 surcharge for red & white roses).

This is not a deal that helps my pocketbook.  We are paying $60 ($70 for red  white roses) to deliver these roses to you. We donate $20 to the charity. We pay my credit card discount. At the $79 price ($89 for red & white), I lose two or three dollars for each 50 roses shipped.  That’s okay…the cause is worthy.  Merri and I will share the joy of the gifts you help make…Christmas gifts for poor children in Ecuador.

You can order the 50 fresh cut roses for $79 ($20 is donated to help Ecuador’s poor) here.

You can order 50 red and white fresh cut roses for $89 ($20 is donated to help Ecuador’s poor) here.

This is a batch of 100 fresh Ecuador roses that Merri and I enjoyed earlier this year.

Premium Quality Roses

Though this is perhaps the lowest price for roses you will see, these roses are special, not like anything offered in a store or even at most florists. These are premium roses with extra large heads that open fully.

Fresher Quality Roses

Most roses go from Ecuador to Miami by air are stored in Miami then shipped by truck until they sit in a store. They can be a week or more old when you see them. The roses you receive from this offer are cut and stored overnight, driven by refrigerated truck to Quito airport and flown to Miami to a special refrigerated Fedex facility until, then flown to your Fedex destination for immediate delivery to your home or office. This means they last longer.

Environmentally Clean Roses

The roses your receive are certified by Veriflora. The VERIFLORA seal is a real, green program that regularly spot check farms for ecologically sound systems that include:

1- Water and ecological conservation: implementing water management systems to prevent depletion of fresh water supplies.

2- Product quality: implementing practices to ensure the quality of the product through the whole chain of delivery to the final consumer.

3- Advanced agricultural practices: integrating organic practices wherever possible. To only use approved green label certified pesticides. To allow no discharge of pesticides run off into the environment.

4- Waste management: recycling and composting as well as the proper disposal of agricultural chemicals.

By March of 2007 the co-op that sends your roses had certified 144 acres.

Certification means the growers have met or exceeded the requirements. There is no middle ground with Veriflora, no differing levels of certification. You either are ecologically sound and certified, or you aren’t.

That means you receive environmentally friendly roses.

Here is a red and bi color combination of fresh Ecuador roses we had delivered to us in North Carolina.

Fair Trade Roses

In addition the Verflora seal requires the rose grower to be socially responsible adhering to recognized labor and community standards, specially pertaining to health and safety, work conditions, hiring practices, discrimination, harassment and fair pay.

The growers offer every single one of their workers:

-free doctor and medical treatment at the farm for workers
-day care facilities for infants
-free breakfast and lunch (and dinner when they work late)
-free sports and recreation facilities
-small business loans -when workers want to leave to set up their own small holding farm
-workers fund -for financial help with school fees to buy a car, etc
-complete health and safety equipment provided free -helmets , gloves, masks, etc
-paid maternity leave with a guarantee of work when they want to return
-overtime paid over and above the legal requirements
-Christmas parties, summer holiday excursions, sports tournaments
-a safe and secure work environment with job satisfaction and potential for personal development

There you have it…three great reasons to experience the warmth of the people and beauty of Ecuador this Christmas…the freshest…best and best smelling roses…and you help the environment and the poor by having them delivered into your and your loved one’s homes.

All Ecuador Christmas rose orders will be scheduled for delivery on December 22.  Fedex may be late on these days so the roses may arrive Dec 23 or Dec. 24 2010.

When you order, the rose farm will email you a Fedex tracking number to make sure you’ll know exactly when your roses will be arriving.

This offer ends by 10am EST December 15, 2009.  All orders received after 10am EST December 15 will be scheduled to be delivered after Christmas scheduled for Dec 29  before New Year’s Day.

I regret that, due to customs regulations, our rose supplier cannot deliver roses in Canada and cards with individual personalized notes cannot be included.

A letter on “how to care for your roses” will come with your roses.

We dry our fresh Ecuador roses as they age and continue to use them. Here are 100 dried Ecuador roses on our stairway in North Carolina.

Now you can take time to smell the roses even at breakfast…at affordable prices as well.

Ecuador Roses With Vase

Here is a new way to receive Ecuador roses direct into your home and  help the poor.

You can also see a great way to earn extra income with Ecuador roses below… even if you never visit Ecuador.

I took this photo of a new Ecuador rose package that is now available through our Land of the Sun Foundation.

We have been helping readers get Ecuador roses delivered by FedEx in large containers of 50 and 100 long stem roses. Here is 100 Ecuador roses that were delivered by FedEx to our North Carolina home.

50 or 100 long stem, Ecuador roses are fantastic to see.

They however take a lot of work arranging.

You need many vases or a very large vase to hold 50 or 100 roses!

Now FedEx can deliver a smaller package of 20 Ecuador roses… already arranged… including the vase.

Fedex can deliver these Ecuador roses to your home or to anyone you wish.

Here is the Ecuador roses delivered to our North Carolina farm.

The Ecuador roses and vase…

are tightly packed in here.

This assures that the Ecuador roses and vase arrive in good condition.

The Ecuador roses are beautiful.  This arrangement arrived Thursday afternoon before our July North Carolina seminar.  These pictures were taken Tuesday morning, five days after they arrived.

You can see the vase…

and the…

incredible colors and …

the size of my hand shows how large these Ecuador flower heads are.

No puny, tightly bound roses that never open here!  Plus…

these Ecuador roses will last.   These Ecuador roses lasted nine days.

I did not treat them well.

They arrived Thursday.    Friday I hauled them in our van to a seminar we were conducting.  Because they were so fresh they drank a lot of water.   On Saturday and Sunday, when I arrived at the seminar hall,  the vase was totally dry.

Yet my Ecuador roses are still lively and fresh.  They normally stay full for a week to nine days.

These Ecuador roses are very  inexpensive… delivered by hand… to your home by FedEx. 20 Ecuador roses, the arrangement… all greens and the vase for only $59 including delivery.

Plus $11 of this goes to our foundation Land of the Sun. Our current project is improving  a school in the Ecuador village of  Topo de Grande.

to help these kids and all the children who attend this school. More on these kids tomorrow.

Earn Extra Income with Ecuador Flowers

Robert Ribadineira, our flower supplier,  has now created a Fresh Flower Party Plan for flowers that can help you earn income as you help the poor.

Party plans have been  a highly successful way to introduce new ideas by displaying and demonstrating a product to those gathered at a party.

Roberto’s Premium Flower Party not only develops income potential and helps the poor but also helps resolve a huge problem that the economic downturn has created in the US.

The problem is that in the last two years nearly 30% of America’s florists have gone out of business.
It is harder and harder to get fresh premium quality flowers.  The new paradigm is that low quality, short lived cut flowers now rule the market.

Roberto’s  Premium Flower Party creates a new, fun and fulfilling way for Americans to have top quality fresh flowers in their homes.

The party plan originated with the  Tupperware company in the early 1950s. Tupperware’s success was widely copied and the idea hosting a social event in homes to demonstrate a product has become a popular and proven business model that combines fun and personal customer service.

Party plans have been used to sell items such as kitchen products, home decor, jewelry, skincare and cosmetics.

Yet fresh premium quality flowers have never been marketed via a party plan…until now.   The demise of so many florists and new three day Fedex delivery capabilities have made the Premium Flower Party a logical entry in the new economic paradigm.   See more on the party plan here.

Roberto has now helped conduct two fresh flower parties and will conduct a fresh flower party at our upcoming Ecuador Export tour to teach delegates how to sell fresh Ecuador flowers they import.  See details of this course here Oct. 21-24, 2009  Ecuador Import Export Tour
