Food For Thought and Better Health With Purely Green

Merri and I take the cleanliness of our food supply seriously.

In North Carolina we eat a lot of wild food and vegetables we grow in our garden.

gary-scott-farming

Our greenhouse allows us to start our planting early.

In the spring nature provides us with dandelions and a wonderful lettuce (called branch lettuce) that grows wild in the creek later to be supplemented by Bee Balm and Echinacea for tea.

gary-scott-farming

Here is echinacea and tomatoes growing in front of our meditation room.

Here is a bit of our harvest.

gary-scott-farming

This time of year, we harvest our grapes and collect apples from our many apple trees.  We have acres of…

gary-scott-farming

wild blackberries in the summer and wild mountain strawberries in the late spring.

gary-scott-farming

Our chickens provide us with summer meals like this.

gary-scott-farming

We also have a greenhouse in Florida and start the gardening process again in winter.

In addition we have citrus, grapes, figs, blueberries and loquats that provide us with Florida fruit throughout the year.

These crops, plus trout in North Carolina, bass and panfish from our Florida lake allow us to eat less commercially grown food.

This gardening is fulfilling, provides gentle exercise and we find picking our own food especially satisfying.  Plus there are some enormous health benefits.

Dr. John Douillard at Lifespa.com (1) points out that “Environmental pollutants, cancer causing chemicals, plastics, preservatives, pesticides, heavy metals and industrial waste overwhelm the body’s natural detoxification pathways.  Toxic cloud plumes from burning coal cover most of the United States and lace even our organic vegetables with heavy metals. Pesticides and preservatives have infiltrated their way into almost all the food consumed in America and can store in the body’s fat, including the brain, for years. Industrial wastes have permeated our ground water and can enter our body by simply washing our organic veggies with tap water.  Over time these stored chemicals undermine our immunity, render us susceptible to disease, infection and premature aging.”

This is why Merri and I clean our our vegetables and fruit, especially those we purchase in the store, with Purely Green 25.

I asked our friend, Ted Tidwell, who manufactures Purely Green to explain how this works.

Ted replied:  In order for pesticides to remain on the plant and effective during rains, they are encased in oil.  An ordinary vegetable wash that does not dissolve oil will permit pesticidal residues to remain on the plant and be ingested.

PurelyGreen is powerful enough to dissolve crude oil and tar, so it easily dissolves the oil and removes the poisonous pesticides.  Ted

Merri and I use Purely Green 25, diluted at the rate of two (2) ounces per quart of water is our preferred method for cleaning purchased fresh fruit and vegetables.

We simple spray our fruits and vegetables thoroughly and generously with Purely Green and let it penetrate for several minutes before rinsing.

This removes the oil encrusted toxic chemical pesticides that ordinary veggie washes cannot remove.

This also improves the taste by removing the oil and toxins and extends the freshness and edibility for several additional days.

Purely Green is certified carcinogen free.  Many consumers save the cost of expensive organic produce by removing the insecticides with Purely Green.  This organic cleaner/degreaser helps the environment and poses no threat to humans, animals or marine life.

Recently Ted sent this note to me:  EcoCert International has certified BioWash 25, BioWash 100 and BioWash Soil Amendment as ORGANIC.  This achievement will help enrich hundreds of distributors and thousands of organic growers.

ECOCERT (2) is an organic certification organization, founded in France in 1991. It is based in Europe but conducts inspections in over 80 countries, making it one of the largest organic certification organizations in the world.  The company inspects about 70% of the organic food industry in France and about 30% worldwide. ECOCERT is also a leading certifier of fair trade food, cosmetics and textiles as per ECOCERT Fair Trade Standards.

Congratulations to Ted.  It is great to see other organizations confirm what we have known and have let readers know for decades.

There is also a huge financial savings.  Three quarts of 409 household cleaner delivered by Amazon.com is $16.98 or about $5.66 per quart before shipping.  You then have shipping costs or have to pay to be an Amazon Prime customer for free shipping.  But $5.66 per quart is about the best you’ll get for 409 household cleaner.

One gallon of Purely Green 25 is $96.  This is a concentrate that is mixed 15 to 1 (two ounces per appx. quart 30 ounces of water).  That gallon of Purely Green creates 64 quarts of ready to use at less than $2.00 per quart.

There is one drawback to the Purely Green products, a high cost of shipping.   Ted does not offer Purely Green in stores and Fedex charges quite a bit for shipping.  The shipping, for a gallon averages out around $26 a gallon.  So the Purely Green and shipping are $122.

If you were to purchase the same amount of a traditional non organic house cleaner (such as Clorox 409) from Amazon.com,  you would pay $266.24 more.

You can order one gallon here and the shipping is included.

Purely Green

We are bombarded daily with toxicities of every sort.  We see toxic news.  We are sold and served toxic food.  Much of our water supply contains poisons.  There are chemicals in the air.  Anything we can do to reduce the pollution that gets in our bodies can help us get and maintain natural health.  I hope that sharing this program for Purely Green will help create a cleaner world.

How to Overcome the Conspiracy of Food

One of the biggest conspiracies we face is with our food.
One of the most important foundations to our personal, and the world’s, well being and health is nutrition.

organic

Yet the need to feed an ever growing population, increasingly concentrated in big cities has put the world’s food supply in just a few hands.
You can see some problems this fact brings and a few solutions below.

I have lost most of my confidence in health or whole food stores or organic products.

My experience is that when honest organic products have success and develop consumer trust, they are quickly bought out by a big business and diluted.

Manipulating consumer trust is where the conspiracy begins.

An article in the Washington Post, “This is the end of Monsanto as the world has long known it” (2) shows how far big business will go to eliminate transparency.  The article says (bolds are mine):

New owner Bayer announced Monday that it will nix the brand name as soon as August, when its $66 billion acquisition of Monsanto is expected to be complete.

The merger, approved by the Justice Department last week, will create the largest seed and agrochemical company on Earth, uniting Bayer’s pesticide business with Monsanto’s genetically modified crop portfolio.

In the process of amassing that portfolio, Monsanto has become one of the most-hated large companies in the world.  Its name is regularly splashed across protest banners and invoked in arguments against the alleged harms of pesticides and GMOs.

The decision to drop Monsanto’s name is part of a wider campaign to win back consumer trust.

Oxfam International created a report “Behind the Brands,” that focused on 10 of the world’s biggest and most influential food and beverage companies.  These corporations employee more than a billion workers which is about a third of the global workforce.

These firms are so powerful that their policies can have a major impact on global nutrition and the environment.

Here are the companies that this report identifies as controllers of much of the world’s food: Nestle’s; Associated British Foods (Mazola corn oil and Twinings tea); The Coca-Cola Company; Groupe Danone S.A. (world’s largest seller of fresh dairy products); General Mills (Betty Crocker, Green Giant and Pillsbury); The Kellog Company; Mars (M&Ms, Milky Way, Snickers, Uncle Ben’s rice, Wrigley gum); Kraft Foods; Mondelez  (Cadbury, Nabisco, Oreo); PepsiCo Inc. and Unilever Group.

Even worse, you can be sure that all of them use products created by Monsanto or whatever the company will be called.  That’s why I created a report about the dangers created by the Bayer Monsanto merger.

Instead Merri and I avoid fresh and health food stores and focus on local products where we can see the source and process as well as know the people involved better.

I have developed local raw dairy sources and organic meat, poultry and fish sources in both North Carolina and Florida.

In North Carolina we use Rose Mountain Butcher Shoppe.

rose mountain

Ann Rose offers produce from 40 local farms.

In Florida we use Sunshine Farms about 20 minutes from our house.

Plus I soak all my veggies and fruit in Purely Green to remove toxicity.

Pure Food

Clean food, even those described as organic are hard to get.

We use Purely green to wash all our fruits and vegetables.

A reader recently asked Ted Tidwell, the manufacturer of Purely Green, this question:

Which of the two BW100 and PG 100 cleaner recommended to clean dirt and pesticide residue on fruits and  vegetabiles at the washing station…. and, most important is 1:2000 or (1-oz to 15 gallon water)  the recommended dilution.

Ted’s reply is worth reading.  Purely Green 100 is the more powerful degreaser that dissolves the oil that is holding the toxic pesticides.  Most veggie washes sold in stores cannot remove the oil, so the unaware public is ingesting toxins.

Purely Green also extends the freshness and edibility of fruit and veggies for up to a week.
The pictures below show Purely Green’s success..

Purely Green

All the success stories have been with it diluted at the rate of 1:500 or one (1) ounce per four (4) gallons.

Pretty Darn Interesting Test

Here is a test that illustrates why BioWash produces such dramatic benefits when used in growing plants.

Merri and I have been using (and writing about) Purely Green and BioWash for almost 20 years now.   Originally it was one product, manufactured by reader and friend Ted Tidwell.

We called it Ted’s Stuff back in the day… a miracle degreaser and cleaner that for some odd reason also helped plants grow.

Over the years a scientific understanding of the product grew as Ted’s Stuff evolved into a more concentrated Purely Green, a cleaner we use for just about everything.

BioWash  and BioWash Soil Amendment were improved and added to Ted’s line for farming and gardening.

Demand for these products has grown globally and here is a test from some of the best farmers in the world… the Dutch.

Biowash

Biowash

I worked in my organic garden yesterday planting Brussels Sprouts and tomatoes.   In each planting I added a tiny shot of fish fertilizer and BioWash soil amendment.

The test shows why!

$150 BioWash Investment Earns $17,700 for Grape Grower

I have encouraged readers to create multiple streams of income doing something they love.  One way to do so is with micro-agriculture projects.

I have been involved in agriculture for many years and one of the secrets I use is BioWash, the agricultural solution that has Purely Green as its base.

A benefit of Purely Green as a Bio Pesticide comes from the fact that it is not a poison but a degreaser.  We have used Purely Green in our North Carolina and Florida homes as well as our rental units.  We even shipped it to the  Ecuador hotel we purchased and ran for many years. We use it to clean floors and everything thing else, as a shampoo, clothes and dish washing soap, car cleaner as well as ant and bug eradicator because it is so effective and is organic.

Now we can say so because Purely Green 25 is organic because it was recently registered as an organic pesticide.

In addition to being effective both Purely Green and BioWash products are also good for the environment.

For example, BioWash Soil Amendment was just tested by SGS Labs and qualified for the EPA’s most prestigious rating: “Readily Biodegradable.”

biowash

What more can one ask for, a product that is organic, biodegradable and does just about every cleaning job in the house?

Purely Green is exceptionally effective on flies, fleas and mosquitoes.

Dog owners use it as shampoo.  It not only dissolves fleas and ticks but has a desirable effect on the hair.

Cats dislike water, so cat owners soak a cloth with Purely Green, then stoke it on their cats to dissolve the fleas.

Horse and cattle owners are replacing the toxic insecticides with Purely Green. They mist it in barns and stables for insect control .

It does not irritate animals.

The difference between Purely Green and BioWash are:

  • Purely Green is a simple cleaning/degreasing solution.
  • BioWash has added nutrients.
  • BioWash Soil Amend is more complex with equally strong surfactants plus other softening ingredients that make it more suitable for plants.

Whether you are looking for a cleaner to replace chemicals in your home, or for a better way to cleanse your fresh food or a safer way to look after flowers or crops, check out Purely Green and BioWash both for effectiveness as well as long term health and environmental benefits.

I have written about BioWash multiple times, but decided to offer this product for two reasons.  One is the story about how a grape grower invested $150 in Biowash and gained a return of $17,700.

The second is a note from the manufacturer of BioWash, our friend Ted Tidwell, who wrote:

The attached BioWash 25 label was just approved as “Suitable for Organic Farming” use,  with approval to display the EcoCert logos.

biowash

Labels for BioWash 100 and BioWash Soil Amendment (“BioSoil Amend”) approvals are imminent.

Here is the story of how a grape grower used one gallon of BioWash to earn $17,700.

The 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011 growing seasons were not profitable for Harry Raby of Raby Farms.

His four acre vineyard produced not a single grape.  He was so disappointed that he told his wife that if it remained barren during the 5th season, he would rip them up and plant alternate crops.

Tanya Reid convinced him to apply one gallon ($150) of BioWash.

The grapes began to form right away and by mid-season a success was clear.

biowash

His BioWashed vines yielded 27.4 tons!  His sales soared to $17,850.00!

biowash

After deducting his $150 investment, Harry’s ROI was $17,700!  Not bad for a $150 test.

BioWash is the “Hi-Yield” solution developed and blended by 1st EnviroSafety that we have been writing about at our website for almost 20 years.  The original solution was a degreaser developed to help save birds fouled with oil in the Valdez Oil Spill.  We used this solution called Ted’s Stuff, (we named this after our friend Ted Tidwell who manufatures this wonderful stuff) which we used as a cleaner for just about everything. Then we discovered that this was a spray that removed a blight called Wooly Adelgid, from the hemlock trees at our farm in North Carolina.

BioWash and BioWash Soil Amendment were formulated based around this degreasing solution and has created some wonderful stories of agricultural success.

Here is my own story about BioWash.

I followed my own advice and invested in agriculture buying an orange grove.

The year I made the purchase the grove harvested just over 1,800 boxes.

In our first year we sprayed the grove once with BioWash.   Production rose to 2,400 boxes despite the fact we eliminated a third of the trees.

This means our yield per tree doubled.  The next year we sprayed twice with BioWash and this year our production rose to to 3,400 boxes.

Cations can bring financial stability in an unstable world.

The catalyst was Bio Wash.  We have more than doubled yields in our grove as the price of oranges has risen since spraying with Bio Wash.

We have been promoting Bio Wash and its formative solutions (we used to call it Ted’s Stuff) because it is such a great product and is wonderful for the environment.

We use Ted’s formulas for all our household cleaning.  I brush my teeth with it.  We spray our Hemlocks at our farm in North Carolina to eradicate the Wooly Adelgid blight and we spray our crops there.

So it was logical that we also sprayed our groves.  (Merri and I have been dedicated users of Ted’s Stuff for nearly 20 years.)

Now there is even more good news about this product that might be a catalyst for a way to gain extra earnings (or better gardens and crops) as you help the environment.

The news is spelled in the word Cation.  To understand the science we start with an Ion.

An ion is an atom or molecule in which the total number of electrons is not equal to the total number of protons, giving it a net positive or negative electrical charge.

An anion with more electrons than protons, giving it a net negative charge (since electrons are negatively charged and protons are positively charged).

Wikipedia says this about cations and soil:  A cation is an ion with fewer electrons than protons, giving it a positive charge.

In soil science, cation-exchange capacity (CEC) is the maximum quantity of total cations, of any class, that a soil is capable of holding, at a given pH value, for exchanging with the soil solution. CEC is used as a measure of fertility, nutrient retention capacity, and the capacity to protect groundwater from cation contamination. It is expressed as milliequivalent of hydrogen per 100 g (meq+/100g), or the SI unit centi-mol per kg (cmol+/kg). The numeric expression is coincident in both units.

Clay and humus have electrostatic surface charges that attract the solution ions, and hold them.  This holding capacity varies for the different clay types and clay-blends present in soil, and is very dependent of the proportion of clay+humus that is present in a particular soil. A way to increase CEC is to favor the formation of humus.

The higher the CEC, the higher the soil fertility.

In short, if you have higher CEC your crops grow better.  Bio wash increases the CEC.

Bio Wash promotes growth. We have been receiving reports like this: Good news.  Tanya Reid, NY, BioWashed 35 acres of peach blooms for a grower and saved them from freezing in 26F. cold.  Tanya’s neighbor who is a farmer who grows plums, peaches, apples, raspberries, gardens flowers everything…… called our farmer who had success with bio wash freeze protection and is meeting with him today.

Harry the farmer said he’ll show him documentation and ride around his property to prove his success……….AWESOME………. we are very excited to say the least….I will be ordering more product I am sure this week like a 55 gallon or a ton of gallons.

Tanya also told me this morning that Harry our test farmer told her he was very frustrated about the bad freezing weather coming  on the 24th of march.

Now he is the center of attention. Another farmer was coming over to look at his trees and marvelous success that has never happened in 165 years!

God is working. Its not just about money. Its about helping people be successful and bringing farmers together to increase their potential for higher yield and profit. Oh BABY AMAZING “UNBELIEVABLE

I’M SO EXCITED AND THINK I LIKE IT. I’M ABOUT TO LOSE CONTROL.

Another wrote:  Justin Wilkinson, Washington, reported three to five  full-sized ears per stalk. Now he is planning tests involving money-saving reductions in fertilizer costs. He also enjoyed an extra month of extended grass season, thus reducing the cost of buying hay for his dairy.

George Behlin,, NY, reported three full sized ears and one stalk with  four in his garden.  Plus, amazing yields of beans and tomatoes.

Henry Morgan, Baton Rouge, reduced his fertilizer by over 50% and reported his greatest vegetable garden in 10 years.

Dr. Treloar, Iowa, reported general 20% yield increases on his test crops and  had amazing results.  He sprayed some wild blackberries and WOW!The berries grew larger than normal, tasted sweeter, and kept producing longer into the fall which they never done before.  Also the vines kept growing until Xmas.

The patch he didn’t spray behaved  normally, regular size berries and the vines died by the end of October.  A young lilac bush that normally has 3-7 flowers/season has 17 new buds forming! Tomatoes plants went crazy. We bought two plants of each type, one to be treated and one not treated.the treated plants produced about 50% more tomatoes. Also as the plants grew shoots, I pinched them off, soaked them in your formula, replanted them(this was in September) and they grew about a foot and produced a few baby sized tomatoes.  AMAZING!

Bio Wash may also help resist drought.  We received this:  Alton Holt, Texas, enjoyed record oat yields in spite of last seasons extended drought.  He applied no fertilizer nor used irrigation. His protein content measured 24% to 26%, compared to the normal 14% to 16%.

How does Bio Wash work?  Many highly trained agronomists are puzzled by the “out-of-the-box” yet obvious effectiveness.  The basis appears to be the incredibly small size of the sub-atomic particles that are able to penetrate and deliver nutrients to the plant.  It is not a fertilizer but apparently increases  the cation exchange capacity, electro-magnetic action of the roots and photosynthesis in the leaves.

This can improve the yield and increase the BRIX plus as a huge bonus is a  natural insect deterrent because it is an exceptionally gentle yet powerful degreaser,  it dissolves the lipid cellular membrane of small, soft bodied funguses and insects.

The benefits farmers are seeing include the fact that growers can substantially reduce the amount of commercial fertilizers while  significantly increasing growth, hardiness and yield.

At the same time the chelation of accumulated copper and other inorganics, redeems damaged croplands.

Last month, there was a test of the solution against insects on 90 acres of citrus.   After 10 days, a Florida state inspector searched but could not find a single Leaf Miner nor Asian Psylid.  Most aphids were gone, but a few survived.

Growers can actually boost yields while reducing the amount and costs of fertilizers needed.  Cristian Delano’s neighbor, Baton Rouge,  reduced his fertilizer application
by 80% and is enjoying the largest yields in ten years of gardening.  His tomatoes are the largest, sweetest ones he can remember and continued to produce long past the normal harvest season.  His pepper plants normally produce about 12 peppers.  This year, single plants are producing up to 90 peppers and were still producing in late November!

Part of the benefits are likely to be temporary.  Bio wash breaks down the unused nutrients that remain in the soil.  Eventually growers will need to add additional nutrients.  Considering the high costs of fertilizers and the environmental damage being caused by them, growers are welcoming the reduced costs and increased profit margins.

Order BioWash here.

Since shipping is such a large part of the cost, BioWash 100 which is far more concentrated, is a far more economical solution than BioWash 25.  Since its development in 2003, thousands of delighted growers have reported sensational increases in yields and profits.  Even though specific crop yields can never be guaranteed, most growers will see visible growth differences within three weeks and  harvests yielding an extra 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%, and sometimes soaring as high as 50%!  Dilutions of 1 ounce 4 gallons  have produced impressive results.  This means that one gallon produces 534 gallons of usable wash.  This means at $172 for a gallon (includes shipping) the cost is just a bit over 32 cents per gallon.  You cannot beat that price anywhere.

gary-scott-farming

Down the Drain

There are many things we do not want to see go down the drain, such as our savings, our effort, the value of our experience.

However…

When we put something in the toilet, we do want it to go down the drain.

Yet all of us, sometimes get a blocked drain!

What to do when the toilet won’t work?

Head to the supermarket and get some drain cleaner.

Don’t..

Most household drain and oven cleaners contain Sodium hydroxide.  This is nasty stuff.

Here are a few of the symptoms of sodium hydroxide poisoning or exposure in different parts of the body according to the National Institute of health at the US National Library of Medicine (1).

Breathing difficulty (from inhaling sodium hydroxide)
Lung inflammation
Throat swelling (which may also cause breathing difficulty)
Blood in the stool
Burns of the esophagus (food pipe) and stomach
Diarrhea
Severe abdominal pain
Vomiting, possibly bloody
Heart and blood collapse
Low blood pressure (develops rapidly)
Severe change in blood pH (too much or too little acid in the blood)
Shock
Burns
Holes in the skin or tissue under the skin

Here is advice from a plumber…

Do not use Drano. Ever.  It’s toxic, expensive and most importantly it doesn’t work and it eats at seals that prevent leaks.

So how do you get the toilet sending whatever down the drain?

Merri and I use Purely Green, bio degradable and non toxic.  This is am amazing degreaser that helps dissolve clogs in the drain. I pour it in, let it sit for half an hour or so and pour in warm (not boiling) water.

In fact just simply using Purely Green for other cleaning uses can help avoid clogged drains.

Ted Tidwell, the manufacturer of Purely Green sent this note:

Gary, We had a mobile home park with its own sewage processing plant.  Residents tended to pour grease, etc. into the drains, which cooled and clogged the drain lines.

We were paying expensive RotoRooter bills near every month.  Our manager started selling Purely Green to the residents for extra income.  By just ordinary usage, Purely Green dissolved accumulated soaps and grease,
keeping the drains clear and saving expensive RotoRooter bills. Ted

Purely Green has worked well for us when we have simple clogs in the drain.  This works quickly, is safe and good for the environment.

More Bio-Pesticide Q&A

For example, BioWash Soil Amendment was just tested by SGS Labs and qualified for the EPA’s most prestigious rating: “Readily Biodegradable.”  Here is the final page of the lab results.  See the entire examination report below (1).

biowash

In 1997, Purely Green, was then labeled as “Multi-Purpose,” was certified as Readily Biodegradable by the same testing lab.

According to an EPA website: (2) Biodegradability is a critical concern with “down the drain” products, which can be toxic in the aquatic environment. In order to recognize the value of “biodegradable surfactants” and to incentivize the development of entirely biodegradable products, we have developed the following criteria and standards that products must achieve before making biodegradability statements under the pilot program.

The product cannot contain any ingredients considered carcinogens, mutagens, or reproductive toxicants (CMR) by one of the authorized bodies listed in Tables 1, 2 and 3. Only products classified as FIFRA Toxicity Category II, III or IV are eligible to make this claim.

Rationale: Some surfactants used in cleaning/disinfecting products pose aquatic toxicity concerns for numerous species, and their degradation products may persist. Nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs) are an example.

OPP has decided to recognize the use of surfactants that protect aquatic life by rapid biodegradation to less toxic compounds by allowing the label to contain a claim of “biodegradable surfactants.

What more can one ask for, a product that is organic, biodegradable and does just about every cleaning job in the house?

We how about roaches?  Anyone who spends any time in Florida might ask this.  Will Purely Green kill roaches?

Here is a reply from Ted Tidwell, the manufacturer of Purely Green, to a reader who asked this question about roaches.

It’s nice to hear from you. You asked if Purely Green is effective on roaches. I am pleased to respond to your question.

When applied to roaches, PurelyGreen dissolves about 99% of them within a few minutes.

Surprisingly, I sprayed one several years ago and it did did not die. I placed a glass over it and
left it for the night. It was still healthy the next morning.

I was mystified but an entomologist explained that there are different species of roaches. They have survived for millions of years because a few are more resistant.

PurelyGreen works best when sprayed directly on the target, but appears to have a residual effect because roaches avoid the areas that have been sprayed.

So, a direct response would be that Purely Green is effective on about 99% of the roach population.

Horse and cattle owners are replacing the toxic insecticides
with Purely Green. They mist it in barns and stables for insect control .

It does not irritate animals.

The difference between Purely Green and BioWash are:

Purely Green is a simple cleaning/degreasing solution.

Soil Amend is more complex with equally strong surfactants plus other softening ingredients that make it more suitable for plants.

Whether you are looking for a cleaner to replace chemicals in your home, or for a better way to cleanse your fresh food or a safer way to look after flowers or crops, check out Purely Green and BioWash both for effectiveness as well as long term health and environmental benefits.

Bio-Pesticide Benefits

Recently our friend Ted Tidwell was able to get EPA approval of Purely Green 25 as a Bio Pesticide.  Here are some Q&A’s that a reader sent Ted.     Gary

Q: Congratulations for getting the Florida approval as Bio-Pesticide for Purely Green 25.  Can I ask for a copy of the Florida approval?  This is very timely as we are currently planning to do the same here in the Philippines as there is an increasing demand for bio-pesticide among farmers and government crop production programs. I would like to ask the following questions:

A:  Yes. See below the new label with approval reference and registration confirmation from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

purely green

purely green

Q:  Is the dilution rate of 1 oz Purely Green 100 per 4 gal water adequate to kill insects and fungus or do you recommend a higher concentration?

A:  Generally, yes. However some insects may require more. Suggest local tests.

Q: What insect groups can be controlled/killed?

A:  To date, we have received no reports of failure.  Some dissolve immediately upon contact. Others require more time.
Example: Aphids may survive up to three days.

Q: What is the recommended application interval?

This varies according to the reproductive cycle of the specific target.
Fleas can reproduce as soon as 26 hours. Others vary between five and more days.  Three applications at five day intervals seems to be the average.

Q: What is the mode of action of the product to kill insects and fungus?  Purely Green is not a poison but is a degreaser, and it dissolves the insect tissues. It does not affect mammal cells.

Here’s the Rub on the Grease

We have written many times about the benefits of Purely Green and BioWash and the good these products can bring to the garden and environment.

merrily farms hemlcok

Here I am with our old growth hemlocks, we call the Grandfathers.  These hemlocks have been attacked by the Wooly Adelgid blight on the US East coast and though many have died, we have saved many, many of ours with Purely Green.

However, I would like to stress that the original purpose of this product was as a degreaser.  Purely Green was created to help degrease birds from the Valduz oil spill.  It was effective on cleaning the birds on a fast low stress way.  It is biodegradable so the process does not harm the water.

The basic science is that Purely Green is composed of such small molecules it cuts through grease and coats surfaces so the grease simply lifts off.

I figured that fatty lipids are a type of oil and tested Purely Green on the Wooly Adelgid.  The liquid soaks right though the cocoons and degreases the fatty lipids in the insect.  The arborist we worked with used a microscope to watch the process and was amazed and very excited.  He has since treated thousands of hemlocks in the area.

Then I figured out that if it dissolved insects in a cocoon, it might also dissolve them out of one.  I tested spraying Purely Green on ants.  Instantly dead!  Purely Green is not an insecticide  but it dissolves the fatty lipids and that makes the insect dead anyway.

Since that test, I spray my flowers and garden with BioWash.

Purely Green is the original cleaning formula.  BioWash contains gentler surfactants and more vegetable oils.

Now there is an interesting experiment going on with BioWash Soil Amendment.   BioWash Soil Amendment is BioWash on steroids, encompassing some out-of-the-box quantum chemistry.

This most exciting test apparently reduces the insect population in coffee farms via systemic applications of BioWash Soil Amendment via the root system.  It appears that ingesting leaves or seeds or juices containing Soil Amendment may dissolve the insect’s internal organs.

The manufacturer of BioWash, Ted Tidwell, wrote:  “In Central America, a difficult beetle is destroying the coffee industry.  A business there is treating a beetle while inside the coffee bean systemically by soaking the coffee tree roots.

“The Central American coffee growers face a devastating insect plague caused by the coffee borer beetle locally known as “Broca”. The female beetle lays her in the young coffee cherry and as the young beetles mature, they literally eat the coffee cherry from within.  This is a prolific problem as several generations of beetle can live within the same coffee cherry.

“The growers had been using a chemical treatment for the Broca beetle that because of the harshness of this chemical, is restricted to three applications per year.  While the chemical treatment yields a near 100% kill rate of the beetles, new beetles return shortly thereafter to re-infect the coffee cherries.  The Insecta Pro did have a slower kill rate but it did have an increased effect after each use that carried over as it was absorbed into the plant’s tissue and phloem. After the chemical treatments had been exhausted, the growers continued with the Insecta Pro treatments every 30 days at a rate of 450/ 1 sprayed directly onto the coffee cherries, branches and surrounding soil. These growers have also taken our recommendation to wash the coffee cherries after harvest and before they are transported to avoid further infection in route to the processing facilities. Additionally, these same growers are now using this system in their nurseries from seed to seedling to inoculate the young plants prior to exposing them to these epidemics in the fields at planting.

“If it works in coffee, its logical that it could work on all vegetation.

“Other farmers have gained benefits with dramatic vegetable yield increases by soaking his soil with Soil Amendment before planting. Significantly, his previous crops required weekly insecticide applications but this test crop required no insecticides.

“More testing and experience is needed for verification but if proven, this avoids air pollution from spraying airborne toxins.

“When proven successful, lasting insect control may be achieved by soaking the roots with a non-fuming, carcinogen-free solution that exceeds EPA’s standards as “Readily Biodegradable.”

“This would eliminate the need of depositing millions of tons of toxic insecticides into the atmosphere. Obviously, the positive environmental impact will be huge.  A full report is attached (1).

This is why we decided to start offering Purely Green, BioWash and BioWash Soil Amendment at our site.  You can see more below.

Food For Thought and Better Health With Purely Green

wild blackberries in the summer and wild mountain strawberries in the late spring.

gary-scott-farming

Gain Profit Beyond the Dollar

I love our business when profits go beyond the US dollar.

For the past 18 or 19 years, we have written about and promoted Biowash and Purely Green, a bio degradable cleaner we originally called Ted’s Stuff after the manufacturer, Ted Tidwell.   We have done this without pay and without any concern for the money because our self publishing business has been healthy enough for us to write about things we believe in without regard to financial return.  Yet benefits beyond the money have been many.

hemlock adelgid

The hemlock (left of the larger pine) behind one of our farmhouses was dying ten years ago from the Wooly Adelgid blight.  We discovered that Biowash dissolves the cocoons.  We began spraying the hemlocks we could reach and today hundreds of trees that would have otherwise died are green, healthy and strong.

See how thousands of hemlock trees have survived in Appalachia. Click here

See how Bio wash was used in Ecuador. Click here and Click here

See how Biowash was used in our orange groves in Florida. Click here.

See how to avoid one of the biggest health scams of all by using Purely Green as our hand cleaner, dishwashing liquid, laundry soap and for general cleaning.  Click here.

Now Ted Tidwell sent me a note saying that the Indian government has certified Purely Green as Ayurvedic medicine.  A research university documented Soil Amendment as killing 99% of mosquito larva within 24 hours. The 1% that survived and hatched could not fly. The amount needed is only one gallon per 50,000 gallons of water.

In future messages we’ll look at how Ayurvedic medicine can provide great health benefits at a low cost. However the point in this message is how much good  a person can accomplish while earning with their own self publishing business!

Another benefit is income.   Writing has brought me both our farms, free and clear… plus a lot more.

Another good example of earning potential is my friend Hugh Howey.   He was working for $10 an hour in a book store when he self published his novel Wool, typing in a storage room during his lunch breaks.

Soon he was earning over $100,000 a month on Amazon.com.  This helped secure a six-figure book deal from Simon & Schuster, and an option for film by Ridley Scott, director of Blade Runner and Alien.

That’s what he’s doing now.

Hugh Howey

Sometimes Hugh and I get together at my  farm and play chess (he beats me badly).

Writers like High are great inspirations.

A couple of years ago Hugh  left Florida, and moved to South Africa.  He had a sailing catamaran built for him and now can sail the world while he continues to write.

Hugh explained it like this: And that’s the miracle of working as a writer: I can do it from anywhere and everywhere. The past few years, I’ve done a lot of writing from airplanes and airports while on business trips abroad.  SAND was entirely written overseas while traveling through seven different countries; I think it’s a better story because of those inspirations.  In upcoming years, I may be writing near your home port.

Hugh’s a super star writer and his success could not happen to a more deserving and talented person.  He pours enormous energy into being worthy of his readership.  But you do not have to be a million dollar a year earner or a traveler to benefit from writing.

The good news is… you do not need a huge success to have a rich and fulfilled lifestyle.  Self Publishing can bring you a life that most people only dream of, as a journeyman writer, instead of a super star.

May I hastily add that the path to stardom begins as a journeyman… so the journeyman’s path brings success without stardom… but can also lead to stardom.

What most success stories like Hugh’s rarely explain is the many hours of writing that was devoted before their self published book sales soared.   Hugh, like most writers were journeymen first.  Stardom came later.

Here are sevens secrets that can help you become a journeyman writer.

The secrets are a writer’s armory of tools that allows almost anyone to create successful publications for income, freedom and fulfillment.

Take Merri’s and my publishing business as an example.

Merri and I are not writing stars.  We are journeymen who have for more than 40 years, year in and year out, earned solid income writing and self publishing dozens of publications about multiple subjects.

Some years that income has been more than solid… over a million dollars.  Yet in terms of stardom, we are hardly known.

In a moment you’ll see why that’s fine for us and probably will be for you too.

First some history.

Merri became involved in self publishing over 40 years ago… first helping a veterinarian publish a book on a very specific market… animal acupuncture. Then she showed a needle point artist how to sell more books to an even more specific audience… “needle point enthusiasts”  about her needle point work to an audience larger than the population of the city she lived in.  This led Merri to eventually become Executive Editor of an award winning magazine in Florida.

My story allowed Merri and me to work and live from Hong Kong to London to Europe to Eastern Europe, then the Caribbean and then Ecuador… making millions in the process of following our adventures… having fun… while helping a large readership adapt to a rapidly changing world.

That’s what self publishing can bring, profit, adventure and fulfillment, a great feeling of worth and wonder.

Self Publishing has created exactly the lifestyle we desire allowing us to span the world and work with meaning and purpose.

Self Publishing has become a new business art form.

The seven secrets can help you start your own self publishing business now.

Everything in publishing is new and exciting and changing.  Publishing is being recreated by the wonderful power of destructive technology.

Everything is new… except the seven secrets.

Change in the publishing industry is disturbing many.   We love this evolution due to these seven secrets we call the 7Ps.  The 7 Ps are so fundamental to writing and publishing that new technology enhances rather than reduces their power.

The First P is Passion.

Whatever your passion, you can immerse yourself in it AND create income with self publishing.  This can be your direct ticket to the kind of fulfillment you’ve always wanted.

Whether you want to travel the world or live as a recluse, work 12 hours a day or not work much at all,  you can set your schedule to succeed, if you’re willing to learn these seven secrets.

You can start part-time with any dream, passion, and budget.  Once you’ve created a product, you’ll enjoy the “multiple effect” of producing profits over and over again.

So the question is… What do you love to do?

What’s Your Passion:  An example is that thirty years ago, a client of Merri’s had a passion to help people who were in pain?  He published a series of pamphlets explaining various chiropractic disorders in very simple terms.  For example: “What Is Whiplash?”

The pamphlets contained solid information, but were simple 5″ x 7″ brochures with drawings and explanations. He sold them with a rack to chiropractors, who put them in their offices for patients to read.  These little self-published items sold year in and year out for decades.

There are thousands of ideas of this sort that can lead to big business.  It’s just a matter of defining and then acting on your passion.

Although I can work when I please and go where I wish, for me the most important reason for being a publisher is the satisfaction it brings.

I love the projects I take on, so work doesn’t feel like, well… work.

What do you love?  If you love golf, then you can write and sell publications about golf.  Love travel, fishing, dogs, dolls, or art?  Write and sell publications in these fields.

Are you concerned about crime, war, poverty or environmental issues?  You can publish information products that help reduce these concerns.

Would you like to help the world be a more spiritual place?  Publish a newsletter, write a book (or hire someone to write it for you), record a tape… publish something that enlightens people.

Whatever your passion, you can immerse yourself in it and earn income by publishing for ereaders, print on demand, CDs, lists, bound books, or any format you choose.

Be immersed in your passion and get paid well for it.

This is why stardom is not the main goal for most writers and self publishers.  Extra income, more freedom and fulfillment are usually more than enough enough.

The seven Ps are:

#1: Passion

#2: Problem

#3: Person

#4: Profitably Priced Product

#5: Prospecting Pathway

#6: Promise

#7: Presentation

The first time I exposed others to the secrets in Self Publishing was in a weekend “Writer’s Camp” seminar.  We offered the camp for $1,500. 80 delegates enrolled.  People from all walks of life attended—chiropractors, businessmen, investors, doctors, realtors, inventors, airline pilots, engineers, and housewives.

Merri and I were so overwhelmed by the response, we decided to make it available to a larger audience.  We created a written course based on our current self publishing activity called “Self Fulfilled – How to be a Self Publisher.”  Then we recorded the weekend “Writer’s Camp” seminar.

Thousands have used the course as it has evolved over the decades.

You can receive both the written course and the recorded weekend seminar, in an MP3 file, in a special “Live Well and Free Anywhere” program I am making available to you.  The normal fee is $299 for the written course and $299 for the recorded workshop.   I’ll send you both the course and the recorded workshop and my course “International Business Made EZ (also $299) all for $299.  You save $598.

We are so confident that you’ll gain from this offer that if you are not fully satisfied, simply email us within 60 days for a full refund .

These courses are not theoretical.  They describe, step-by-step, how Merri and I built a million-dollar international business and how we are running this self publishing business right now.   We use the 7Ps today just as we did four decades ago to create a strong annual income.

This correspondence course is for those who would like their own international self publishing micro business for fun and profit. If you want fun, freedom, extra income and fulfillment with your own full or part time writing or want to build your existing business, by writing to sell you can profit from this course.  The course can help who want their own business or who want to have a business together or a family business.  This is the perfect course for those who can no longer find employment, who are looking for ways to earn abroad and who wish to retire and supplement their income.

Whether you are retired, an investor, chiropractor, doctor, dentist, professional or already own your own business, this offers another way to make money, to turn your passion into profit. We guarantee that we have shared all we know to help you start and run your own international business.  Enjoy and live a life of following your Passion to Profit… through writing.

Here is a special offer.

We provide two emailed courses  “Self Fulfilled – How to Write to Sell and be a Self Publisher” and “International Business Made EZ”.

We include the “Self Fulfilled Writing and Self Publishing Course” because there are two reasons to write, when you have something to say or when you have something to sell.  In this day and age many of us want to do both, make a statement that makes the world a better place and earn something extra in the process.

Whatever your passion, however you do business, chances are you’ll be writing either to create a product or to sell a product.

You save more than $598 because you also receive a recorded webinar conducted by our webmaster David Cross (at no extra cost).

Purification and Chemical Protection

Purification and chemical protection are essential parts of natural health.

One practice that permeates every healing ritual we have enjoyed, studied or heard is purification. We have visited and studied from many:  Andeans, Amazonians, Tibetans, Indians, Mayans, Sufis and found that all have one form of internal cleansing or another.

ecuador purification

Purification ceremony near sacred grotto near Cotacachi, Ecuador.

Ultimate Form of Purification

Most purification routines aim at removing toxins from our system.  The main protection however is to avoid putting them in.

The ultimate form of purification is to be clean and pure.   Yet this is not always easy to do.

There are poison problems from toxic chemicals that infect almost everyone, nearly every day.

Last week we looked at how to remove toxins from the food we eat.

This message looks at how to gain chemical protection.

In the early 2000s we posted a message at this site entitled Health Scam.   The message warned about the health risks of antibacterial soap.  In particular we looked at Colgate Palmolive antibacterial Softsoap advertised as “gentle enough for the whole family”.

Every product shipped has to have a OSHA regulated form called a “Materials Safety Data Sheet”.  This form is meant to protect workers shipping and handling products so I looked up the “MSDS” on Softsoap.

Get ready to cringe. The “MSDS” on this chemical based formula that is “gentle enough for the whole family” states under the general controls section “Avoid contact with skin and eyes.” It warns workers to wear rubber gloves and protective goggles while using this. How this warning is mysteriously converted into gentleness on the store shelves is beyond me.

Finally more than a decade later the FDA is catching on.   A New York Times Health article entitled: “F.D.A. Questions Safety of Antibacterial Soaps” by Sabrina Tavernise tells us more. Here is an exceprt to the article linked below:   After years of mounting concerns that the antibacterial chemicals that go into everyday items like soap and toothpaste are doing more harm than good, the Food and Drug Administration said on Monday that it was requiring soap manufacturers to demonstrate that the substances were safe or to take them out of the products altogether.

The proposal was applauded by public health experts, who for years have urged the agency to regulate antimicrobial chemicals, warning that they risk scrambling hormones in children and promoting drug-resistant infections, among other things.

Studies in animals have shown that the chemicals, triclosan in liquid soaps and triclocarban in bar soaps, can disrupt the normal development of the reproductive system and metabolism, and health experts warn that their effects could be the same in humans. The chemicals were originally used by surgeons to wash their hands before operations, and their use exploded in recent years as manufacturers added them to a variety of products, including mouthwash, laundry detergent, fabrics and baby pacifiers. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found the chemicals in the urine of three-quarters of Americans.

This does not mean we can let our guard down.

Producers of anti bacterial soap argue that the substances have long been proved to be safe.  This is a billion dollar business and the industry will fight. Here is more from that New York Times article:

The industry argued that the active ingredients in antimicrobial soaps are over-the-counter drugs that go through rigorous reviews by the F.D.A., including of data. Two trade groups, the American Cleaning Institute and the Personal Care Products Council, cited a review of two dozen studies they said showed washing hands with antimicrobial soaps produces “statistically greater reductions in bacteria on the skin” than with plain soap.

“In some instances, these products have been found to be critical in the reduction of infection and disease,” the groups said. They said they intended to file comments to the F.D.A. “reaffirming” that the use of antibacterial wash products does not contribute to antibiotic resistance.

Purely-Green-OilClean

Merri’s and my answer is the same as with cleansing our food. We use Purely Green.

This is an amazingly powerful cleanser that we use to clean our hands, body, hair, floor, sinks and surfaces, as well as dishes but we also use it to clean away heavy oil, dirt or grime as well.  There are no no hazardous chemicals in Purely Green.

You can learn more about Purely Green Clean in the USA and Canada here.

In Ecuador Carlos Harris is a distributor of Purely Green. He is in Bahia.  Email maui96753@hotmail.com

Essential Oil Deodorant for Natural Health

Here is why I am excited about the essential oil deodorant Merri and I use.

Merri and I lived and worked with this Ecuador Yatchak for seven years.

ecuador shamans

This photo was taken after a purification ceremony at a sacred spring.

One of the main ways this shaman helped restore our health was through purification.  He had us walk in mountain mists.  “The negative ions in the mists attach to free radicals and purify the skin to cleanse us from the inside out,” he said.  Another purification was of our blood.  He fed us herbs, minerals and a low calcium diet.  There was almost no dairy served.  We used watermelons, pineapple and sweats to purify.

One of the most important lessons gained is that the first rule of good purification is “Avoid getting impurities in your body in the first place!”

Everyday living bombards most of us with all types of toxicity, from the air we breath, to the water we drink, even the receipts at the supermarket may be toxic.  Merri and I compensate for this by taking care in what we eat, drink and especially breathe and put on our skin.  The fastest way for any element good or bad to get into the blood stream is via the lungs and the skin.

Now there is a better way to replace a toxin with a purifier.

Since it is difficult for most of us to avoid toxicity in the West, this message looks at a longevity alternative and begins by showing how in the early 2000s, due to strict FDA  regulations, the government has approved a product that may encourage cancer, create dementia, Alzheimer’s and complicate kidney problems.

The FDA issued a final rule which said “over-the-counter (OTC) antiperspirant drug products are generally recognized as safe and effective and not misbranded as part of FDA’s ongoing review of OTC drug products”.  I suspect that part of this ruling was influenced by scientists with the Personal Care Products Council, the trade association that represents the cosmetic and personal care products industry.  They have claimed that “antiperspirants can be used with high confidence of their safety. They’ve been used for many years, and there’s no evidence that suggests a problem“.

Many people use over-the-counter antiperspirant drug products every day because almost everyone does.  That’s the way its seems like it has always been.  Is this wise or simply the massive repetition of an error?  We assume that the FDA exists to protect us, but must ask this question, “How much should we trust?”

The FDA’s claims of safety are not entirely correct, because antiperspirants contain aluminum.

An article at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment helps clarify the risks of placing aluminum under our arms every day. (2)  This article says of aluminum, a main ingredient in antiperspirants, “What’s it good for in humans? Simple answer: not very much.  Except for possible involvement in some enzymatic reactions, aluminum “has no known function in the human body.”   While there is little or no upside for aluminum in the body, there is a most definite downside: aluminum is a neurotoxin.

The Aluminum Downside

The Duke article (linked below) contains numerous links to a number of negative health effects, including impaired mental and motor function, Alzheimer’s and other brain diseases, and bone diseases.  It points out a number of questions about aluminum’s impact on human health and explains there is not much study on aluminum antiperspirants.  Then it says: So, while the FDA regulates antiperspirants as over-the-counter drugs and deems them safe, it hasn’t based its decision on a large body of work specifically examining these products.  So rather than a stamp of approval, FDA’s aluminum regulation seems more an indication that, given the ubiquitous nature of aluminum, exposure from antiperspirants isn’t believed to be unsafe.”

Antiperspirants and Disease:  It’s the Pits

In other words there’s no definitive answer.  There are links between aluminum and disease, yes.  There is a link to Alzheimer’s, dementia, diminished thinking and cancer but, no study provides specific proof of a direct link between antiperspirants and these problems.

We can see the risks of aluminum more clearly at a different government source, the Agency for Toxic Substances & Disease Registry. (3)

This agency’s report on aluminum says: Workers who breathe large amounts of aluminum dusts can have lung problems, such as coughing or changes that show up in chest X-rays.  Some workers who breathe aluminum-containing dusts or aluminum fumes have decreased performance in some tests that measure functions of the nervous system.

Some people who have kidney disease store a lot of aluminum in their bodies.  Sometimes, these people developed bone or brain diseases that doctors think were caused by the excess aluminum.

Although aluminum-containing over the counter oral products are considered safe in healthy individuals at recommended doses, some adverse effects have been observed following long-term use in some individuals.

Studies in animals show that the nervous system is a sensitive target of aluminum toxicity.

Then there is the question of  parabens.

A health warning from Mercola.com (4) says:   99% of Breast Cancer Tissue Contained This Everyday Chemical (NOT Aluminum). Recent research found higher concentrations of parabens in the upper quadrants of the breast and axillary area, where antiperspirants are usually applied, suggesting they may contribute to the development of breast cancer.

The data from this latest study, the most extensive examination of parabens in human breast so far published, confirms previous work and raises a number of questions on the entire parabens, personal care product and human health debate, particularly relating to the source and toxicological significance of the paraben esters.

Merri and I have not used antiperspirants for decades.  We eliminate a potential toxicity and use purifying essential oils instead.  F

We mix tea tree with other essential oils in a base of organic jojoba oil and use this under our arms instead.

This essential oil formula acts like a deodorant and helps improve rather than decrease natural health.

Let me begin by saying that essential oils have not been evaluated by the FDA as cures for any specific illness.  This product is not intended to diagnose, cure or prevent disease.  It simply a common sense approach to assume that putting organic, all natural essential oils under your arms is better for you then chemical laden deodorants and antiperspirants.

The essential oils in the formula are:

Tea Tree  (Melaleuca alternifolia) – broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity against bacteria, viruses, fungi. (The #1 First Aid Oil for skin infections and tissue issues of all kinds.)

Lavender (Lavandula augustifolia) – antiseptic, antimicrobial, deodorant, anti-inflammatory. This #1 Balancing Oil for the central nervous system is highly antiseptic.  Great for balancing skin bacteria and combating odors.

Lemon (Citrus limonene) – antimicrobial, antiseptic, astringent, antibacterial, tonic. The Oil of Sunshine to cleanse our skin, lift our spirits, and combat negative smells. Lemon is an exceptional antiseptic with a joyful aroma.

Geranium (Pelargonium roseum) – deodorant, fungicidal, antiseptic, antibacterial. The Soothing Oil for calming down skin irritations and our nervous system. The rose element in this Geranium is nurturing to our physical and emotional state … our whole sense of well-being.

Myrrh (Commiphora myrrha) – anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiseptic, astringent, anti-fungal. An Oil of Antiquity renown for skin and wound care. Used in healing unguents of Ancient Egypt. Also known to instill tranquility and peaceful effects on many levels.

Use a purifier rather than a toxin and save at the same time.

You save first because you can also throw away expensive colognes, perfumes and face cremes as well as deodorants.  You save money as you gain a chance for better health.  Only one or two drops of each oil are required so a bottle goes a long way. One bottle lasts for a couple of months for me.  If you use it for the face as well… obviously it will go faster.

The price is already low, but during the sale the price is less than half that charged for 3 ounces of  women’s DERMAdoctor Total NonScents Brightening Antiperspirant.

More importantly this could offer a lifesaving savings.  According to answers.yahoo, the treatment cost for stage 3 non-hodgkin’s lymphoma can easily exceed $300,000 so cutting off  potential health problems at the pass can really make sense.

Merri and I love the refreshing smell and feel of this spray that eliminates the need for perfume, cologne and antiperspirants that may contain unhealthy chemicals.

Beyond Chelation

Vitality Force provides a simple (and incredibly low cost) amino acid that can help improve cardiovascular systems, increase memory, improve vision, enhance vitality, expand energy and extend lifespan.

A delegate at one of our courses was a doctor in his eighties but who had the energy and looks of a much, much younger man.  When asked about his secret of youth he said his vitality was based on several factors.  A few of them you would expect, such as good diet, sufficient exercise and plenty of activity in a strong, purposeful life.  Then he explained another secret of his youth and energy: chelation.

This youthful doctor told us he had been running the largest I.V. chelation center in the United States from Hawaii. Hardening of the arteries is such a huge problem in our modern world that he was making a fortune.

Then, he said, he had learned about a vitamin-mineral formula that was so effective that he shut down his clinics and exclusively used this simple formula which he felt had better results than I.V. chelation therapy.

Years of research are behind this comprehensive cardiovascular nutritional supplement, designed to maintain and promote vascular health, mental and physical well being.

That client and doctor friend gave us a month’s supply of this formula.  He thought it would be excellent for us and would help us with traveling also.  Merri and I tried this product ourselves and felt better and better.

We have made it a point to take heart healthy supplements since.  We love the savings we enjoy with the mixed supplement we use.   It is so much less expensive than all the numerous other vitamins and minerals that we had been taking.  We actually were spending less!

The system we use is so convenient.  Everything is in one simple scoop of powder we take daily.  Especially when we travel we just bring along a packet for each day we are on the road.  No more loading up pill boxes or bringing bottles (or suitcases full of bottles) of vitamins and stuff.

As is so often the case when we like something we start talking about it and pretty soon, a batch of friends were taking Vitality Force and telling us great things about their experiences.  They reordered so much of it through that I decided to make it available to all my readers.

Let me begin by saying that Vitality Force has not been evaluated by the FDA.  This product is not intended to diagnose, cure or prevent disease and should only be taken as a food supplement.  Having said this, I share information about Vitality Force below.

This supplement combines over two dozen ingredients, known to have beneficial effects, into one total cardiovascular support program.

Vitality Force’s main ingredient is L-arginine.  Studies have shown that L-arginine is a precursor to nitric oxide, an important cardiovascular signaling molecule.

What is L-Arginine?

L-Arginine is the biological precursor of nitric oxide.

The medical establishment has known about the benefits of nitric oxide as nitroglycerine and amyl nitrite which creates a flood of nitric oxide have been used in medicine for over a century.

Nitric oxide is an important signal and effector molecule made by the blood vessels’ lining. The endothelium is exquisitely sensitive to the physical and chemical conditions inside our blood vessels. When the endothelium senses heart-healthy conditions, such as physical activity and low cholesterol, it releases more nitric oxide.  That’s good because nitric oxide expands the blood vessels, increasing blood flow and decreasing plaque growth and blood clotting.

In 1998, three research scientists won the Nobel Prize in medicine when they discovered the natural nitric oxide cycle in our cells.  Nitric oxide is essential to a vital natural cycle at the cellular level.  It is so  important in neuroscience, physiology, and immunology, that one year it was named “Molecule of the Year”.   Research into its function led to a Nobel Prize for discovering its importance as a cardiovascular signalling molecule. The nitric oxide cycle especially helps the heart.

Nitric oxide is the simple molecule that improves the flow of blood to the heart body and brain, It also increases energy and stamina, relieve  stress, strengthens the immune and digestive system, plus improves clarity of mind.  Nitric oxide improves the health of the inner wall of a blood vessel, keeps vessels pliable and elastic, dilates blood vessels keeping blood flowing smoothly, relax blood vessels, keep platelets and white blood cells calm and prevent them from sticking to the vessel wall, prevent oxidation, slow plaque growth, suppress atherosclerosis and melt away plaque that already exists.

There are many benefits from removing plaque from the body:

  1. Helps to prevent arteriosclerosis (Hardening of the arteries)
  2. Helps to rejuvenate your cardiovascular system
  3. Helps to improve conduction in all degrees of A-V heart block
  4. Helps increase American life expectancy
  5. Reduces blood pressure and blood cholesterol
  6. Improves circulation
  7. Improves vision and hearing
  8. Improves liver function
  9. Improves skin texture and tone
  10. Helps prevent abnormal cross linking of molecules that age tissue
  11. Helps to relieve symptoms of senility by increasing circulation to the brain
  12. Helps to relieve pain, hypoglycemia, phlebitis and scleroderma
  13. Dissolves fats in plaque lined arteries
  14. Helps make blood slippery and prevents abnormal blood clotting
  15. Helps to increase tissue oxygenation

Anti-Aging, Longevity, and Preventative Medicine are the Future!

With our knowledge of alternative medicine doubling every three years and our technology advancing exponentially, we are entering an age where we are able to probably turn our biological clock backwards!  Instruments are now in use that can measure the functioning of each of our physical organs and new high potency nutritional supplements, hormonal balancing, and advanced oral chelation products have become available which can enhance the functioning of our organs and help prevent heart attacks and fight many of the auto-immune and degenerative diseases that are plaguing modern society.

There is one more benefit.  That is the savings and convenience.  Vitality Force is much more than just an all natural solution for cardiovascular health.

The formula includes the highest quality arginine, vitamins, minerals, and other immune boosting ingredients. It works by dilating the blood vessels to allow more oxygen and nutrients to flow freely throughout the body.  This helps improve the  bio-availability of all nutrients and helps enhance your other supplements that you may already be taking.

I like the powdered form because research suggests that consuming liquid nutritional products provides significantly improved absorption, (80% vs. 20% from tablets).

Vitality Force supports:

* Cardiovascular health

* Healthy immune function

* Anti-aging properties

* Improved energy levels

*  Dilated blood vessels to deliver more oxygen and nutrients to muscles and the cardiovascular system

* Increased efficiency of oxygen utilization for energy production

* Enhanced numbers of mitochondria to actually produce energy

The Vitality Force formula includes:

  • L-Citrulline
  • Vitamin D3
  • Vitamin C
  • B1 (thiamine)
  • B2 (riboflavin)
  • B3

vitalityforce

(Click on image to read the label.)

I get all these ingredients in Vitality Force from one daily scoop of powder!  I take mine first thing each morning and can feel a big positive difference in my vitality.

The Ultimate Key to Vitality

Taking Vitality Force provides almost every vitamin and mineral that we were previously taking in separate form.

Merri and I have actually reduced our spending on vitamins and minerals.  The powder is tasty, easy to use and one container has a month’s supply, which at $44.95 makes this a very inexpensive way to get most of the vitamins and minerals you already take as you gain the chelation benefits.

Vitality begins with activity including physical activity.  Many factors in modern living inhibit our physical activity.  There is a lot of stress to maintain a lifestyle.  Modern conveniences like the computer, electricity and car make it easier not to exercise.  There is also a difficulty in obtaining vitamin filled and rich, healthy food.  All of this saps vitality and can lead to a negative health spiral.  We feel badly so we eat comfort food and sit.  This makes us feel worse and the negative spiral deepens.

One way to break bad habits and a negative health spiral is to generate more nitric oxide.

One way to generate more nitric oxide is simply by taking a scoop of Vitality Force each day!
