Health Problem & Solution

Here is a health and environmental benefit that’s become official.

We are proud to have been one of the very first people to promote the Bio Degradable degreaser, cleaner, “Purely Green” (formerly called “Ted’s Stuff”).  Our first messages on why we use it, and its health and environmental benefits, appeared in our first emails almost 20 years ago.

We have been a strong advocate (and user) since.

Our friend Ted Tidwell gave us a sample over two decades ago. I was amazed at its cleaning power and encouraged by its environmental benefits.

Since that time, we have used Purely Green to save hemlock trees from the Wooly Adelgid blight at our North Carolina farm and increase production in our Florida orange grove.

“Purely Green” was the “cleaning-solution-of-choice” at the hotel we owned in Ecuador.

Most of all, we use it for almost all types of cleaning in our homes, on floors, furniture, counter tops, bathtubs, literally every surface, as well as dishes and clothes.  We clean all our fruit and vegetables with Purely Green.  Plus I use it as my shampoo.

Bureaucracy being what it is, it has taken decades for Ted to get official approval for the benefits of this great product.

Countries abroad embraced this wonderful cleaner first, but finally the states are making this bio degradable, non mutagenic product official.

Ted recently sent me this note with a subject title “Problem & Solution”.

THE PROBLEM

Toxic pesticide residues are in the air we breathe, the food we eat and the water we drink. We cannot escape.

We are breathing them now. Every breath delivers them to our brains, distorting and/or destroying brain cells.

They were in our last glass of water and our last meal. They are now in our bodies.

They are one of the greatest health hazards facing humanity.

They are genotoxic, meaning they attack our cellular DNA, deteriorating cellular structure and inducing cancer.

They cause “neurobehavioral alterations,” meaning deteriorating of learning and rational thinking.

They cause birth defects resulting in life time handicaps, mental retardation and even fetal death.

The consequences go on and on. For self-education click on
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_effects_of_pesticides

1,296,000,000 pounds of toxic insecticides and fungicides are being sprayed each year.

They present one of the biggest, if not the biggest and most challenging problems facing humanity.

THE SOLUTION.

Fortunately, we now have a new solution.

Purely Green

At this date, 31 states have approved a new bio-pesticide with ingredients clinically tested and documented as “Genotoxicity Free,” meaning “harmless to human and animal cellular DNA.

It is destined to replace 1,296,000,000 pound of hazardous pesticides.

Here are the new labels.

Purely Green

These labels are slightly different, due to state regulations.

Purely Green

But the ingredients are clear,  soybean oil, peppermint oil, cinnamon oil, lemon grass oil, garlic oil, almond oil, soap and filtered water.

Purely Green

The genius in the product is in how these ingredients are processed so they create nano particles that penetrate almost any surface.  They penetrate so deeply that they lift off grease, dirt and on insects they penetrate the carapace and dissolve the insects fatty lipids.

The other benefit of “Purely Green” is the low cost you can see outlined below.

Food For Thought and Better Health With Purely Green

Merri and I take the cleanliness of our food supply seriously.

In North Carolina we eat a lot of wild food and vegetables we grow in our garden.

gary-scott-farming

surrounding our house with lettuce of all types, greens and herbs.

gary-scott-farming

Our greenhouse allows us to start our planting early.

In the spring nature provides us with dandelions and a wonderful lettuce (called branch lettuce) that grows wild in the creek later to be supplemented by Bee Balm and Echinacea for tea.

gary-scott-farming

Here is echinacea and tomatoes growing in front of our meditation room.

Here is a bit of our harvest.

gary-scott-farming

This time of year, we harvest our grapes and collect apples from our many apple trees.  We have acres of…

gary-scott-farming

wild blackberries in the summer and wild mountain strawberries in the late spring.

gary-scott-farming

Our chickens provide us with summer meals like this.

gary-scott-farming

We also have a greenhouse in Florida and start the gardening process again in winter.

In addition we have citrus, grapes, figs, blueberries and loquats that provide us with Florida fruit throughout the year.

These crops, plus trout in North Carolina, bass and panfish from our Florida lake allow us to eat less commercially grown food.

This gardening is fulfilling, provides gentle exercise and we find picking our own food especially satisfying.  Plus there are some enormous health benefits.

Dr. John Douillard at Lifespa.com (1) points out that “Environmental pollutants, cancer causing chemicals, plastics, preservatives, pesticides, heavy metals and industrial waste overwhelm the body’s natural detoxification pathways.  Toxic cloud plumes from burning coal cover most of the United States and lace even our organic vegetables with heavy metals. Pesticides and preservatives have infiltrated their way into almost all the food consumed in America and can store in the body’s fat, including the brain, for years. Industrial wastes have permeated our ground water and can enter our body by simply washing our organic veggies with tap water.  Over time these stored chemicals undermine our immunity, render us susceptible to disease, infection and premature aging.”

This is why Merri and I clean our our vegetables and fruit, especially those we purchase in the store, with Purely Green 25.

I asked our friend, Ted Tidwell, who manufactures Purely Green to explain how this works.

Ted replied:  In order for pesticides to remain on the plant and effective during rains, they are encased in oil.  An ordinary vegetable wash that does not dissolve oil will permit pesticidal residues to remain on the plant and be ingested.

PurelyGreen is powerful enough to dissolve crude oil and tar, so it easily dissolves the oil and removes the poisonous pesticides.  Ted

Merri and I use Purely Green 25, diluted at the rate of two (2) ounces per quart of water is our preferred method for cleaning purchased fresh fruit and vegetables.

We simple spray our fruits and vegetables thoroughly and generously with Purely Green and let it penetrate for several minutes before rinsing.

This removes the oil encrusted toxic chemical pesticides that ordinary veggie washes cannot remove.

This also improves the taste by removing the oil and toxins and extends the freshness and edibility for several additional days.

Purely Green is certified carcinogen free.  Many consumers save the cost of expensive organic produce by removing the insecticides with Purely Green.  This organic cleaner/degreaser helps the environment and poses no threat to humans, animals or marine life.

Recently Ted sent this note to me:  EcoCert International has certified BioWash 25, BioWash 100 and BioWash Soil Amendment as ORGANIC.  This achievement will help enrich hundreds of distributors and thousands of organic growers.

ECOCERT (2) is an organic certification organization, founded in France in 1991. It is based in Europe but conducts inspections in over 80 countries, making it one of the largest organic certification organizations in the world.  The company inspects about 70% of the organic food industry in France and about 30% worldwide. ECOCERT is also a leading certifier of fair trade food, cosmetics and textiles as per ECOCERT Fair Trade Standards.

Congratulations to Ted.  It is great to see other organizations confirm what we have known and have let readers know for decades.

There is also a huge financial savings.  Three quarts of 409 household cleaner delivered by Amazon.com is $16.98 or about $5.66 per quart before shipping.  You then have shipping costs or have to pay to be an Amazon Prime customer for free shipping.  But $5.66 per quart is about the best you’ll get for 409 household cleaner.

One gallon of Purely Green 25 is $96.  This is a concentrate that is mixed 15 to 1 (two ounces per appx. quart 30 ounces of water).  That gallon of Purely Green creates 64 quarts of ready to use at less than $2.00 per quart.

There is one drawback to the Purely Green products, a high cost of shipping.   Ted does not offer Purely Green in stores and Fedex charges quite a bit for shipping.  The shipping, for a gallon averages out around $26 a gallon.  So the Purely Green and shipping are $122.

If you were to purchase the same amount of a traditional non organic house cleaner (such as Clorox 409) from Amazon.com,  you would pay $266.24 more.

You can order one gallon here and the shipping is included.

We are bombarded daily with toxicities of every sort.  We see toxic news.  We are sold and served toxic food.  Much of our water supply contains poisons.  There are chemicals in the air.  Anything we can do to reduce the pollution that gets in our bodies can help us get and maintain natural health.  I hope that sharing this program for Purely Green will help create a cleaner world.

How to Overcome the Conspiracy of Food

One of the biggest conspiracies we face is with our food.
One of the most important foundations to our personal, and the world’s, well being and health is nutrition.

organic

Yet the need to feed an ever growing population, increasingly concentrated in big cities has put the world’s food supply in just a few hands.
You can see some problems this fact brings and a few solutions below.

I have lost most of my confidence in health or whole food stores or organic products.

My experience is that when honest organic products have success and develop consumer trust, they are quickly bought out by a big business and diluted.

Manipulating consumer trust is where the conspiracy begins.

An article in the Washington Post, “This is the end of Monsanto as the world has long known it” (2) shows how far big business will go to eliminate transparency.  The article says (bolds are mine):

New owner Bayer announced Monday that it will nix the brand name as soon as August, when its $66 billion acquisition of Monsanto is expected to be complete.

The merger, approved by the Justice Department last week, will create the largest seed and agrochemical company on Earth, uniting Bayer’s pesticide business with Monsanto’s genetically modified crop portfolio.

In the process of amassing that portfolio, Monsanto has become one of the most-hated large companies in the world.  Its name is regularly splashed across protest banners and invoked in arguments against the alleged harms of pesticides and GMOs.

The decision to drop Monsanto’s name is part of a wider campaign to win back consumer trust.

Oxfam International created a report “Behind the Brands,” that focused on 10 of the world’s biggest and most influential food and beverage companies.  These corporations employee more than a billion workers which is about a third of the global workforce.

These firms are so powerful that their policies can have a major impact on global nutrition and the environment.

Here are the companies that this report identifies as controllers of much of the world’s food: Nestle’s; Associated British Foods (Mazola corn oil and Twinings tea); The Coca-Cola Company; Groupe Danone S.A. (world’s largest seller of fresh dairy products); General Mills (Betty Crocker, Green Giant and Pillsbury); The Kellog Company; Mars (M&Ms, Milky Way, Snickers, Uncle Ben’s rice, Wrigley gum); Kraft Foods; Mondelez  (Cadbury, Nabisco, Oreo); PepsiCo Inc. and Unilever Group.

Even worse, you can be sure that all of them use products created by Monsanto or whatever the company will be called.  That’s why I created a report about the dangers created by the Bayer Monsanto merger.

Instead Merri and I avoid fresh and health food stores and focus on local products where we can see the source and process as well as know the people involved better.

I have developed local raw dairy sources and organic meat, poultry and fish sources in both North Carolina and Florida.

In North Carolina we use Rose Mountain Butcher Shoppe.

Ann Rose offers produce from 40 local farms.

In Florida we use Sunshine Farms about 20 minutes from our house.

Pure Food

Clean food, even those described as organic are hard to get.

We use Purely green to wash all our fruits and vegetables.

A reader recently asked Ted Tidwell, the manufacturer of Purely Green, this question:

Which of the two BW100 and PG 100 cleaner recommended to clean dirt and pesticide residue on fruits and  vegetabiles at the washing station…. and, most important is 1:2000 or (1-oz to 15 gallon water)  the recommended dilution.

Ted’s reply is worth reading.  Purely Green 100 is the more powerful degreaser that dissolves the oil that is holding the toxic pesticides.  Most veggie washes sold in stores cannot remove the oil, so the unaware public is ingesting toxins.

Purely Green also extends the freshness and edibility of fruit and veggies for up to a week.
The pictures below show Purely Green’s success..

Purely Green

All the success stories have been with it diluted at the rate of 1:500 or one (1) ounce per four (4) gallons.

Pretty Darn Interesting Test

Here is a test that illustrates why BioWash produces such dramatic benefits when used in growing plants.

Merri and I have been using (and writing about) Purely Green and BioWash for almost 20 years now.   Originally it was one product, manufactured by reader and friend Ted Tidwell.

We called it Ted’s Stuff back in the day… a miracle degreaser and cleaner that for some odd reason also helped plants grow.

Over the years a scientific understanding of the product grew as Ted’s Stuff evolved into a more concentrated Purely Green, a cleaner we use for just about everything.

BioWash  and BioWash Soil Amendment were improved and added to Ted’s line for farming and gardening.

Demand for these products has grown globally and here is a test from some of the best farmers in the world… the Dutch.

Biowash

Biowash

I worked in my organic garden yesterday planting Brussels Sprouts and tomatoes.   In each planting I added a tiny shot of fish fertilizer and BioWash soil amendment.

The test shows why!

$150 BioWash Investment Earns $17,700 for Grape Grower

I have encouraged readers to create multiple streams of income doing something they love.  One way to do so is with micro-agriculture projects.

I have been involved in agriculture for many years and one of the secrets I use is BioWash, the agricultural solution that has Purely Green as its base.

A benefit of Purely Green as a Bio Pesticide comes from the fact that it is not a poison but a degreaser.  We have used Purely Green in our North Carolina and Florida homes as well as our rental units.  We even shipped it to the  Ecuador hotel we purchased and ran for many years. We use it to clean floors and everything thing else, as a shampoo, clothes and dish washing soap, car cleaner as well as ant and bug eradicator because it is so effective and is organic.

Now we can say so because Purely Green 25 is organic because it was recently registered as an organic pesticide.

In addition to being effective both Purely Green and BioWash products are also good for the environment.

For example, BioWash Soil Amendment was just tested by SGS Labs and qualified for the EPA’s most prestigious rating: “Readily Biodegradable.”

biowash

What more can one ask for, a product that is organic, biodegradable and does just about every cleaning job in the house?

Purely Green is exceptionally effective on flies, fleas and mosquitoes.

Dog owners use it as shampoo.  It not only dissolves fleas and ticks but has a desirable effect on the hair.

Cats dislike water, so cat owners soak a cloth with Purely Green, then stoke it on their cats to dissolve the fleas.

Horse and cattle owners are replacing the toxic insecticides with Purely Green. They mist it in barns and stables for insect control .

It does not irritate animals.

The difference between Purely Green and BioWash are:

  • Purely Green is a simple cleaning/degreasing solution.
  • BioWash has added nutrients.
  • BioWash Soil Amend is more complex with equally strong surfactants plus other softening ingredients that make it more suitable for plants.

Whether you are looking for a cleaner to replace chemicals in your home, or for a better way to cleanse your fresh food or a safer way to look after flowers or crops, check out Purely Green and BioWash both for effectiveness as well as long term health and environmental benefits.

I have written about BioWash multiple times, but decided to offer this product for two reasons.  One is the story about how a grape grower invested $150 in Biowash and gained a return of $17,700.

The second is a note from the manufacturer of BioWash, our friend Ted Tidwell, who wrote:

The attached BioWash 25 label was just approved as “Suitable for Organic Farming” use,  with approval to display the EcoCert logos.

biowash

Labels for BioWash 100 and BioWash Soil Amendment (“BioSoil Amend”) approvals are imminent.

Here is the story of how a grape grower used one gallon of BioWash to earn $17,700.

The 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011 growing seasons were not profitable for Harry Raby of Raby Farms.

His four acre vineyard produced not a single grape.  He was so disappointed that he told his wife that if it remained barren during the 5th season, he would rip them up and plant alternate crops.

Tanya Reid convinced him to apply one gallon ($150) of BioWash.

The grapes began to form right away and by mid-season a success was clear.

biowash

His BioWashed vines yielded 27.4 tons!  His sales soared to $17,850.00!

biowash

After deducting his $150 investment, Harry’s ROI was $17,700!  Not bad for a $150 test.

BioWash is the “Hi-Yield” solution developed and blended by 1st EnviroSafety that we have been writing about at our website for almost 20 years.  The original solution was a degreaser developed to help save birds fouled with oil in the Valdez Oil Spill.  We used this solution called Ted’s Stuff, (we named this after our friend Ted Tidwell who manufatures this wonderful stuff) which we used as a cleaner for just about everything. Then we discovered that this was a spray that removed a blight called Wooly Adelgid, from the hemlock trees at our farm in North Carolina.

BioWash and BioWash Soil Amendment were formulated based around this degreasing solution and has created some wonderful stories of agricultural success.

Here is my own story about BioWash.

I followed my own advice and invested in agriculture buying an orange grove.

The year I made the purchase the grove harvested just over 1,800 boxes.

In our first year we sprayed the grove once with BioWash.   Production rose to 2,400 boxes despite the fact we eliminated a third of the trees.

This means our yield per tree doubled.  The next year we sprayed twice with BioWash and this year our production rose to to 3,400 boxes.

Cations can bring financial stability in an unstable world.

The catalyst was Bio Wash.  We have more than doubled yields in our grove as the price of oranges has risen since spraying with Bio Wash.

We have been promoting Bio Wash and its formative solutions (we used to call it Ted’s Stuff) because it is such a great product and is wonderful for the environment.

We use Ted’s formulas for all our household cleaning.  I brush my teeth with it.  We spray our Hemlocks at our farm in North Carolina to eradicate the Wooly Adelgid blight and we spray our crops there.

So it was logical that we also sprayed our groves.  (Merri and I have been dedicated users of Ted’s Stuff for nearly 20 years.)

Now there is even more good news about this product that might be a catalyst for a way to gain extra earnings (or better gardens and crops) as you help the environment.

The news is spelled in the word Cation.  To understand the science we start with an Ion.

An ion is an atom or molecule in which the total number of electrons is not equal to the total number of protons, giving it a net positive or negative electrical charge.

An anion with more electrons than protons, giving it a net negative charge (since electrons are negatively charged and protons are positively charged).

Wikipedia says this about cations and soil:  A cation is an ion with fewer electrons than protons, giving it a positive charge.

In soil science, cation-exchange capacity (CEC) is the maximum quantity of total cations, of any class, that a soil is capable of holding, at a given pH value, for exchanging with the soil solution. CEC is used as a measure of fertility, nutrient retention capacity, and the capacity to protect groundwater from cation contamination. It is expressed as milliequivalent of hydrogen per 100 g (meq+/100g), or the SI unit centi-mol per kg (cmol+/kg). The numeric expression is coincident in both units.

Clay and humus have electrostatic surface charges that attract the solution ions, and hold them.  This holding capacity varies for the different clay types and clay-blends present in soil, and is very dependent of the proportion of clay+humus that is present in a particular soil. A way to increase CEC is to favor the formation of humus.

The higher the CEC, the higher the soil fertility.

In short, if you have higher CEC your crops grow better.  Bio wash increases the CEC.

Bio Wash promotes growth. We have been receiving reports like this: Good news.  Tanya Reid, NY, BioWashed 35 acres of peach blooms for a grower and saved them from freezing in 26F. cold.  Tanya’s neighbor who is a farmer who grows plums, peaches, apples, raspberries, gardens flowers everything…… called our farmer who had success with bio wash freeze protection and is meeting with him today.

Harry the farmer said he’ll show him documentation and ride around his property to prove his success……….AWESOME………. we are very excited to say the least….I will be ordering more product I am sure this week like a 55 gallon or a ton of gallons.

Tanya also told me this morning that Harry our test farmer told her he was very frustrated about the bad freezing weather coming  on the 24th of march.

Now he is the center of attention. Another farmer was coming over to look at his trees and marvelous success that has never happened in 165 years!

God is working. Its not just about money. Its about helping people be successful and bringing farmers together to increase their potential for higher yield and profit. Oh BABY AMAZING “UNBELIEVABLE

I’M SO EXCITED AND THINK I LIKE IT. I’M ABOUT TO LOSE CONTROL.

Another wrote:  Justin Wilkinson, Washington, reported three to five  full-sized ears per stalk. Now he is planning tests involving money-saving reductions in fertilizer costs. He also enjoyed an extra month of extended grass season, thus reducing the cost of buying hay for his dairy.

George Behlin,, NY, reported three full sized ears and one stalk with  four in his garden.  Plus, amazing yields of beans and tomatoes.

Henry Morgan, Baton Rouge, reduced his fertilizer by over 50% and reported his greatest vegetable garden in 10 years.

Dr. Treloar, Iowa, reported general 20% yield increases on his test crops and  had amazing results.  He sprayed some wild blackberries and WOW!The berries grew larger than normal, tasted sweeter, and kept producing longer into the fall which they never done before.  Also the vines kept growing until Xmas.

The patch he didn’t spray behaved  normally, regular size berries and the vines died by the end of October.  A young lilac bush that normally has 3-7 flowers/season has 17 new buds forming! Tomatoes plants went crazy. We bought two plants of each type, one to be treated and one not treated.the treated plants produced about 50% more tomatoes. Also as the plants grew shoots, I pinched them off, soaked them in your formula, replanted them(this was in September) and they grew about a foot and produced a few baby sized tomatoes.  AMAZING!

Bio Wash may also help resist drought.  We received this:  Alton Holt, Texas, enjoyed record oat yields in spite of last seasons extended drought.  He applied no fertilizer nor used irrigation. His protein content measured 24% to 26%, compared to the normal 14% to 16%.

How does Bio Wash work?  Many highly trained agronomists are puzzled by the “out-of-the-box” yet obvious effectiveness.  The basis appears to be the incredibly small size of the sub-atomic particles that are able to penetrate and deliver nutrients to the plant.  It is not a fertilizer but apparently increases  the cation exchange capacity, electro-magnetic action of the roots and photosynthesis in the leaves.

This can improve the yield and increase the BRIX plus as a huge bonus is a  natural insect deterrent because it is an exceptionally gentle yet powerful degreaser,  it dissolves the lipid cellular membrane of small, soft bodied funguses and insects.

The benefits farmers are seeing include the fact that growers can substantially reduce the amount of commercial fertilizers while  significantly increasing growth, hardiness and yield.

At the same time the chelation of accumulated copper and other inorganics, redeems damaged croplands.

Last month, there was a test of the solution against insects on 90 acres of citrus.   After 10 days, a Florida state inspector searched but could not find a single Leaf Miner nor Asian Psylid.  Most aphids were gone, but a few survived.

Growers can actually boost yields while reducing the amount and costs of fertilizers needed.  Cristian Delano’s neighbor, Baton Rouge,  reduced his fertilizer application
by 80% and is enjoying the largest yields in ten years of gardening.  His tomatoes are the largest, sweetest ones he can remember and continued to produce long past the normal harvest season.  His pepper plants normally produce about 12 peppers.  This year, single plants are producing up to 90 peppers and were still producing in late November!

Part of the benefits are likely to be temporary.  Bio wash breaks down the unused nutrients that remain in the soil.  Eventually growers will need to add additional nutrients.  Considering the high costs of fertilizers and the environmental damage being caused by them, growers are welcoming the reduced costs and increased profit margins.

Order BioWash here.

Since shipping is such a large part of the cost, BioWash 100 which is far more concentrated, is a far more economical solution than BioWash 25.  Since its development in 2003, thousands of delighted growers have reported sensational increases in yields and profits.  Even though specific crop yields can never be guaranteed, most growers will see visible growth differences within three weeks and  harvests yielding an extra 20%, 25%, 30%, 35%, and sometimes soaring as high as 50%!  Dilutions of 1 ounce 4 gallons  have produced impressive results.  This means that one gallon produces 534 gallons of usable wash.  This means at $172 for a gallon (includes shipping) the cost is just a bit over 32 cents per gallon.  You cannot beat that price anywhere.

1 Gallon BioWash 100 $172.  Buy Biowash 100, one gallon

1 Gallon BioWash Soil Amendment $197.   Buy Biowash Soil Amendment, One Gallon

BioWash Soil Amendment is an easily affordable and immediate solution to acidic soils and/or soils clogged by years of insecticide and unused synthetic fertilizer residuals. With only a single application, growers have reported great increases in yields.  At one ounce of concentrate per four gallons of water the cost including shipping is just over .34 cents per gallon.  Only one sufficient application is needed until additional contaminants are added.

Food For Thought and Better Health With Purely Green

Merri and I take the cleanliness of our food supply seriously.

In North Carolina we eat a lot of wild food and vegetables we grow in our garden.

Our greenhouse allows us to start our planting early.

In the spring nature provides us with dandelions and a wonderful lettuce (called branch lettuce) that grows wild in the creek later to be supplemented by Bee Balm and Echinacea for tea.

Here is echinacea and tomatoes growing in front of our meditation room.

Here is a bit of our harvest.

This time of year, we harvest our grapes and collect apples from our many apple trees.  We have acres of…

wild blackberries in the summer and wild mountain strawberries in the late spring.

gary-scott-farming

Orange Root Value

Adjusting to shifting politics and economics requires new mindsets that create better lifestyle and extra profit.

This is why we are expanding our concepts of multi dimensional opportunity.

We started to expand our agricultural interests in Florida with some Bio Wash agri tests last June.   We hope these tests will  lead to a new niche of profitability at our home.

Good multi dimensional opportunity comes when one can change utility of a product, place or service.  The opportunity is greatest when the change takes place at the root and this is exactly where we started with our bio wash tests.

The year we took over the grove there were 1,500 trees and they produced 1801 boxes of oranges.

We removed one third of the lower producing trees in a grove management plan. We sprayed the remaining 2/3rd with Bio Wash.

With 500 fewer trees, the grove produced 2,484 boxes of oranges that year!

In other words, the average was a yield of about 1.2 boxes of naval oranges a tree.

So we doubled the Bio Wash spray and the next year the average yield was 2.4 boxes a tree… double.  This increased the income of the grove 37% with 33% less trees.

This is when we decided to do some more serious tests.

gary-scott-orange-tests

See below why these agri tests.

There is more to this than just the increased yield. Bio Wash might make the crop more valuable.

Some products using Bio Wash have become known as “pesticide free” and/or “reduced fertilized”.

I believe that pesticide free” or “reduced fertilized” oranges may be worth more so I began testing in our orange grove.   Last June my grandson, Garren, and I loaded up the Cub Cadet with flagging ribbon… went out into our orange grove and set up four test zones… each at an opposite extreme from one another.

gary-scott-orange-tests

Garren helping me set up our tests.

In each zone we selected sick, healthy and new trees.

L1010805

A sick tree in our grove flagged yellow.

L1010804

A healthy tree and…

L1010806

new orange trees.

We flagged half with yellow ribbon which will be sprayed regularly with Bio Wash Soil Amendment. The other half was sprayed flagged green and they will get equal spraying with Bio Wash 100.

L1010807

We wanted to know what Bio Wash would do that could create opportunities in the farming sector.

Our assistant, Derek Hylands, has been keeping track of growth and the amount of spraying done since then and this week we went out and reviewed results.

Our goal is to produce bigger… healthier oranges in a process that requires less fertilizer and little or no pesticides.  Here are the results after six months.

We checked all four zones in the grove and reviewed each of the three types of trees…

#1: Young growing trees.

#2: Healthy mature fruit bearing trees.

#3: Very sick or appearing dead.

Plus I had three grapefruit trees that all appeared a little sick and sprayed one with bio wash, one soil amendment and did not spray one.

At the beginning of the experiment we poked holes around each tree and drenched the roots.   Each tree was drenched with 25 gallons of a solution mixed from  10 ounces of Bio Wash or Soil Amendment to 40 gallons of water.   We then sprayed each tree once a month with  about ten gallons per tree sprayed.

Here are the results.

#1: The young growing trees looked about equal to the best non sprayed young trees.

The positive I can say here is that all the young sprayed trees were at the top of the growth range.  There were some non sprayed trees. This was not so with the sprayed trees. They had all enjoyed strong growth.

#2: I could not see much difference in mature fruit bearing trees.

If anything the sprayed trees looked fuller but with less fruit.

#3: Of the three grapefruit trees the bio washed tree was definitely best.

Gary Scott bio wash

The pictures do not show this well, but the non sprayed grapefruit fruit was small, the leaves spotted and tending toward yellow.

Gary Scott bio wash

The sprayed grapefruit trees were greener, had much larger fruit and a black mold that gets on the fruit was absent.

#4: The sick and nearly dead trees showed the most profound change.

Gary Scott bio wash

Most of the sick trees looked dead like this when we began the test.

Some truly were dead and remained looking that way.

Some had a little growth.

Some had a lot of growth like this.

Gary Scott bio wash

Some even had fruit.

Gary Scott bio wash

This tree looked like a dead stump last June.

Gary Scott bio wash

This tree also looked nearly bare in June.

Gary Scott bio wash

The green ribbon indicates a Bio Washed tree and this tree looked nearly dead in June.

Gary Scott bio wash

Yellow ribbon was soil amendment.  This is a nearly dead in June 2012 Soil Amendment sprayed tree in November 2012.

The recovery of the sick trees seemed equal with both the Bio Washed and Soil Amendment trees.

We’ll continue these tests and keep spraying our entire grove with Bio Wash as we have.

Each year we have sprayed, our production has risen dramatically.

We harvest again next week… so we’ll see if this trend continues and report back to you.

We feel the goal of having pesticide free, less fertilized trees makes sense because numerous forces in the market place include:

#1: Aging population.

#2: Terrible national health due to awful national nutritional habits.

#3: Rising non natural food prices.

#4: Monoculture farming being hit by the law of diminishing returns.

#5: Rising energy costs reducing the effectiveness of early harvesting and long range distribution.

All these forces stimulate opportunity for natural, local, organic goods exactly as big business destroys the image of this arena.

Big business and organic ideals do not mesh well.  This is a niche where small businesses like ours may reap better profits.

Why we are looking for more crops to invest in.

First, farming is just darn fun… to be in nature… to have space… and quiet… as we watch the crops grow!

There is growing profit potential as well because food prices are almost sure to rise.

Over the past decades, emotional values have grown into the business process so they are often as important as economic value.

Consumers today base their buying decisions on private internal values that are a main theme in their buying process.

For example many businesses learned it is a good investment to give part of their profits to some type of charity.  Some businesses have become their values, such as the ice cream company, Ben & Jerry’s. (Of course that was the Ben & Jerry’s of the past… not necessarily the B&J of today.)

Part of business now is to expresses a value through the way of doing business.

Starbucks for example offers the concepts of fair trade, organic and green for their coffee.  Maybe this is because they believe this is good for the world or maybe they believe consumers will buy more coffee from them.

Whatever their reasoning, this shows how values have become of increasing importance and how consumers have increasingly followed their feelings as well as their pocket books.

These corporate values have, in the past, often became the difference between success and failure.

When the global economic slowdown hit, US consumers began to cut non essentials from their shopping lists but continued to open their wallets for natural and organic products that they believe are healthier and are good for the planet.

Organic sales have held up despite the economic slow down.

Here is where some opportunity may come in.

The branding of health products has become so diluted that phrases like “All Natural” and “Organic” are becoming meaningless.  Big business has so distort the reality of the words that no longer convey enough trust  in order to demand higher prices when offered by big business.

Plus there has been a big expansion of ALL NATURAL inventory.  If these factors and inflation push organic products beyond the masses, a niche  may expand for small agricultural businesses.

This niche may create a demand for “hybrid” products that offer healthier values than standard brands but are not called organic and cost less than organic.

What’s Happening with Citrus Land Values in Central Florida.

Bio Wash ties together three profit generating ideas.  First… multi dimensional thinking enhances profit. Have a home that is also an income producing farm.   Second, change the utility.  In this case from an orange grove to “fertilizer reduced” grove.  Third, the spraying increases income and makes the property worth more.

Ben Gibson of Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Real Estate says that Citrus Groves are selling in a range of  $6,000 to $16,000 per acre on Florida’s Central Ridge.   Residential development land is also selling for replanting to citrus at $6,000 to $7,000 per acre.

Our experiments are important because if we can turn $6,000 and acre groves into $16,000 per acre groves through inexpensive spraying with Bio Wash… the capital gains and income potential is substantial.

How about Ecuador or other countries?

One of the features about living in Ecuador are the produce markets and access to the grower of one’s food.

ecuador-longevity

Good food, like this fruit at the Cotacachi, Ecuador farmers’ market are one factor why so many expats like living in Ecuador.

Many who plan on leaving the US want to live on or own a farm.

Bio Wash may be able to make multi dimensional property worth more wherever you are!

The Business of Natural Health

Business Ideas in Ecuador

gary-scott-microbusiness-idea

Does this look like work?  We rode down to this…

gary-scott-microbusiness-idea

train station and were met by these lively people.  This is a great benefit of the tour business… so much fun… so many things to see.

One can blend tours and natural health and great lifestyle as well.

This is why Jean Marie Butterlin who heads Ateam Ecuador offers agricultural and export tours.

Here is a report on natural health product business potential in Ecuador.

In Ecuador, we live in a country that has some exceptionally good soil, unique weather condition and that is rich in many medicinal plants and herbs.

If you have a passion you will eventually come across some unusual and unique products to sell. There are 2 qualities you need to look for in these potential  winner products :

A)   exclusivity or patent : you do not want competition

B)   give VALUE to your customer.  This makes them repeat customers. Value is a very interesting concept.  You have to market your product and demonstrate that it is 10 times more valuable than its price!

C)   The BIG secret of online business is…….THE E-MAIL LIST.   Create an online list of e mails that share the same passion.  I suggest that you study David Cross’ course on this website, on how to setup a business online and create that list.  He explains the power of a focused e-mail list combined with an auto-responder which becomes the most valuable asset you can create and which will make money over and over for you.

D)   If you cannot find a product, create one by writing an e-book that gives VALUE to your customer.  You need to solve a problem! Others will have the same problem:   See Gary & Merri’s Writers Camp.

As you know, one of my passions is Natural Health. I spend at least a couple of hours every day learning about my passion.  Every now and then, I come across some “jewels”!  Because of my 35 years of  experience, I can see very quickly opportunities by blending products and markets.

Here is one recent example: I travel a lot (another passion that is paid by the natural health/anti-aging passion).  During a dinner with a doctor-friend in Paris, he showed me his latest discovery : a product in a small 10cc bottle (10 bottles per box) that contains both a solid extract in the patented cap and a liquid in the bottle itself.

gary-scott-microbusiness-idea

This patented spirulina product is 7,000 more concentrated than spirulina (contains phycocyanin) and is more efficient than spirulina because you mix at the last minute the dried extract (in the cap) and highly concentrated liquid extract, using a patented cap, which releases the dried extract in the liquid just before drinking it. The combination of the two is what makes it so potent!

gary-scott-microbusiness-idea

In my field everyone knows very well what spirulina does for you….my friend has marketed the product just to naturopaths in Europe for now, just saying “7,000 times more powerful than spirulina”.  The production lab had to increase 6 fold its output within 8 months to fill out orders. (Today they are constantly still back ordered).

The first thing I did, was to try the product myself and then secure the rights to North and South America.  I have already a network in the US and I will setup via the internet a network in South America, with Quito as the main distribution center.

Ecuador also possesses a coast where we can grow the algae that produces the phycocyanin. When the market needs it, we can start producing locally for the whole SA continent.

This product has 3 unique qualities:

–       easy to market because it can be attached to an existing concept, spirulina.  You do not have to make any “claims” as the natural health people already know about what spirulina does!  They just need to translate this 7,000 times more powerful and the work is done!

–       patented and exclusive and super efficient = no competition

–       90% of customer re-orders and they keep taking it.

I will make a few videos talking about the product (without having to be making any health claims) and create a specific list of prospects and customers in North and South America (in English, Spanish and Portuguese).

The product will only be available at the end of 2012 in the US and SA but you have to start building your list early to draw the interest. You can use a blog to keep the interest going and keep your prospect alive reminding them that they can pre-order and be put on a waiting list. All this makes your product valuable that way also.

Write about your passion and your products on your website or blog.  Tell stories….remember always : “It’s the story that sells!”

Another concept that has been taking over Europe in the last years is the plant/herbal stem cell called “gemmotheray”.  The idea is very simple:

A genius scientist, Dr. Pol Henry, in Belgium found out that the buds of a specific plant had some very interesting properties totally different from the full grown leaves or fruits or roots.

They had incredible qualities.  The part of the plant he used was the stem cells of the plant.  One of my doctor/partner/friends had the chance to work with Pol Henry and he received all his valuable research before he passed. That research has never been published.

One of the big problems in plant stem cells is harvesting, as you get only a very small window every year to harvest the buds. These buds have to be harvested early in the morning to keep the condensed water (the energy/information) and must be put into a solvant immediately.  Every harvester has a 1 gallon container where he immerses the buds just after picking, this keeps all active ingredients “alive”.

The product is therefore never dried and the extraction takes place after a 3 to 8 weeks maceration process in a 3 phase extraction: water-alcohol-glycerine. Each solvant will extract specific ingredients.

One can only imagine the type of actions some of those stem cell plant possess.

We have created a whole line of unique combination of plants for some specific purposes. These products will be available very soon in fall 2012.

These products have also 3 qualities:

–       although not patentable, they are extremely hard to manufacture as you need the knowledge (kept confidential), the land to grow organically the plants and the manufacturing to extract it. So almost no competition.

–       the plants are well known so you just need to tell what is different and better and why.

–       the product gives good value as it sold at roughly the same price as standart plant extract.

Another area where Ecuador has the edge is the production of  organically grown medicinal spices like turmeric, ginger. etc.  There is a French herbalist in Puyo that produces these spices on a small farm and he sells it in Ecuador and a little bit abroad. The production cost in Ecuador is better than in most other areas if you know how to produce it without pesticides and chemical fertilizers. The key word of course “organic”.

During our agri expeditions we only work on farms that are converted into organic.  In fact we have found out that it is cheaper to grow organic than with conventional methods in Ecuador.

“Eat Me!” said the rose.

Eat me.  From an Ecuador rose? Here is a funky business idea.

Rose-Petal-Jam

Rapid change and inflation make micro business ideas important sources of needed, extra income.

Here is a micro business idea worth our Funky Micro Business Hall of Fame.

A Reuter’s article about Roberto Nevado entitled “Ecuador wants you to smell the roses, and eat them” by Hugh Bronstein shows how out of the box micro business ideas can be.

Here is an excerpt:  Ecuador has long been a major exporter of big bulbed, colorful flowers that please the eye and the nose. Now its farmers are exploring a new idea — roses that you can eat.

Restaurants from New York to Barcelona, looking to attract customers with novelty dishes, have started to serve food containing organic rose petals grown on farms like Roberto Nevado’s in Ecuador’s central highlands.

Nevado is a spritely septuagenarian who moved here from his native Spain to start a plantation in the perfect rose-growing conditions offered by this part of the country, and his Nevado Ecuador farm now has three million bushes under cultivation.

Only 100,000 of them are grown without pesticides and meant for eating.

“But we believe the market will grow,” he said over lunch at his plantation featuring starters, main dishes and desserts containing red, pink and white rose petals that left a bitter-sweet sensation on the palate

“It’s new, it’s interesting, and that’s what everyone wants,” Nevado said, his green eyes flashing as he rolled a dollop of passion fruit mousse over his tongue, crushed rose petals adding a tangy juxtaposition to the sweetness.

“They are the same species as non-edible roses, but the fertilizers have to be organic and  no chemicals can be sprayed on them, which means they need more human care,” Nevado said.

Many bugs that can damage roses do not like garlic, he explained, so workers spray garlic solution onto the organic bushes and plant garlic around his edible rose greenhouses.

Restaurants such as Per Se in New York, Zazu in Quito and El Bulli near Barcelona have started experimenting with rose petal dishes and desserts such as “Rose Souffle”.

The restaurant’s rose martini, made with petals soaked for a week in vodka, is becoming a favorite at Zazu’s bar.

Edible roses account for only about 1 percent of flower exports, but growers say the market needs to be encouraged as the country pulls out of the economic doldrums of 2009.

The petals are certified by European Union authorities and the U.S. Department of Agriculture for import. Nevado is pushing the idea of edible roses at food shows. He says one challenge is to convince potential buyers that they are safe.

This is the type of  combination one should look for in a micro business.  Look for a product that is rare… has high margins and contains a problem… like convincing consumers of its safety or using hand labor creatively.

Next time someone tells you that your zany business ideas are crazy, far fetched and can’t work. Just say “Eat me” and go for it.

By the way eating roses is not new. Rose petal jam, one of my favorites… (I have this jar in the fridge right now) has long been a favorite in the East.

Rose-Petal-Jam

Photo from my fridge.

Rose petal jam is delicious!  To make matters better, rose petals jam is really good for you also (like everything sweet in moderation). Merri and I incorporate this into our super thinking nutritional program… especially in the summer.  We drink it with milk, hot or cold,  on toast and and in a rose lassi… (yoghurt, rose petal jam and boiling water all mixed together).

A form of rose petal jam called Gulkand is an ancient Ayurvedic herbal preparation.

Rose petal jam is a cooling food especially idea for summer meals. It is a natural digestive, blood purifier and helps balance acidity, a world wide health problem created by refined food, preservatives, spicy food, junk food, over eating, eating too much fat and eating in a hurry, skipping breakfast and stress.

It helps reduce constipation, water retention, improves the memory, eyesight and reduces anger, as well as skin blemishes. itching and pimples.

Rose petals are rich in calcium and antioxidants.

They can sweeten body odor and heal mouth ulcers if dissolved in water and gargled as it strengthens teeth and gums.

There are numerous other benefits even various cardiac problems as it acts as a catalyst and facilitates uptake of various heart medication.

For full details, contact an Ayurvedic physician.

Here is how to make Rose Petal Jam.

Here is how to make a good rose petal mix if you cannot find rose petal jam at the health food or Indian store and do not want to order it online.

Wild roses are best as they have more essential oils and richer flavor. Use either dark red or small pink roses. Use only organic roses and make sure no insecticides have been used.

Add equal amounts  by weight of panela (dehydrated sugar cane juice… look in the Latino section at the store for brown blocks of it) and fresh rose petals.

Separate rose petals and wash with bio wash.  Let dry overnight. No water should remain.

Make alternating layers of rose petals and panela in the jars, about 1/2 an inch thick per layer.

Close lid and allow to stand in full sun for a few weeks, with lid closed. This converts the sugar into thick syrup. Shake every few days.

The sugar will melt and the mass will begin to look like a jam in a few weeks depending on amount of sun and temperature.

When you have a micro business idea, it can take many forms… and they can be pretty far out like chocolate covered roses to rose petal jam. And how about Rose Petal Ice Cream?

Those could create sweet micro business inflation beating opportunities.

Seven P Secrets of Self Publishing

When you write, you can work anywhere.

gary-scott-image

Here I am working poolside in the winter, at our Florida farm.

gary scott

Here I am with our hound Ma, working during the summer at our North Carolina farm.

Learn how to earn everywhere, while living anywhere you choose.  I have been able to earn by writing in Hong Kong, England, the Isle of Man, Dominican Republic and Ecuador to name a few of the place I have lived.  Everywhere I have been… too numerous to share here, I have been able to work.

All I need is my laptop.

That’s all you need too… a laptop to be free!

Before computers, a pencil and pad did the job.

Freedom is just one benefit you can gain from writing.

Another benefit is income.   Writing has brought me both our farms, free and clear… plus a lot more.

Another good example of earning potential is my friend Hugh Howey.   He was working for $10 an hour in a book store when he self published his novel Wool, typing in a storage room during his lunch breaks.

Soon he was earning over $100,000 a month on Amazon.com.  This helped secure a six-figure book deal from Simon & Schuster, and an option for film by Ridley Scott, director of Blade Runner and Alien.

That’s what he’s doing now.

Hugh Howey

Sometimes Hugh and I get together at my  farm and play chess (he beats me badly).

Writers like High are great inspirations.

A couple of years ago Hugh  left Florida, and moved to South Africa.  He had a sailing catamaran built for him and now can sail the world while he continues to write.

Hugh explained it like this: And that’s the miracle of working as a writer: I can do it from anywhere and everywhere. The past few years, I’ve done a lot of writing from airplanes and airports while on business trips abroad.  SAND was entirely written overseas while traveling through seven different countries; I think it’s a better story because of those inspirations.  In upcoming years, I may be writing near your home port.

Hugh’s a super star writer and his success could not happen to a more deserving and talented person.  He pours enormous energy into being worthy of his readership.  But you do not have to be a million dollar a year earner or a traveler to benefit from writing.

The good news is… you do not need a huge success to have a rich and fulfilled lifestyle.  Self Publishing can bring you a life that most people only dream of, as a journeyman writer, instead of a super star.

May I hastily add that the path to stardom begins as a journeyman… so the journeyman’s path brings success without stardom… but can also lead to stardom.

What most success stories like Hugh’s rarely explain is the many hours of writing that was devoted before their self published book sales soared.   Hugh, like most writers were journeymen first.  Stardom came later.

Here are sevens secrets that can help you become a journeyman writer.

The secrets are a writer’s armory of tools that allows almost anyone to create successful publications for income, freedom and fulfillment.

Take Merri’s and my publishing business as an example.

Merri and I are not writing stars.  We are journeymen who have for more than 40 years, year in and year out, earned solid income writing and self publishing dozens of publications about multiple subjects.

Some years that income has been more than solid… over a million dollars.  Yet in terms of stardom, we are hardly known.

In a moment you’ll see why that’s fine for us and probably will be for you too.

First some history.

Merri became involved in self publishing over 40 years ago… first helping a veterinarian publish a book on a very specific market… animal acupuncture. Then she showed a needle point artist how to sell more books to an even more specific audience… “needle point enthusiasts”  about her needle point work to an audience larger than the population of the city she lived in.  This led Merri to eventually become Executive Editor of an award winning magazine in Florida.

My story allowed Merri and me to work and live from Hong Kong to London to Europe to Eastern Europe, then the Caribbean and then Ecuador… making millions in the process of following our adventures… having fun… while helping a large readership adapt to a rapidly changing world.

That’s what self publishing can bring, profit, adventure and fulfillment, a great feeling of worth and wonder.

Self Publishing has created exactly the lifestyle we desire allowing us to span the world and work with meaning and purpose.

Self Publishing has become a new business art form.

The seven secrets can help you start your own self publishing business now.

Everything in publishing is new and exciting and changing.  Publishing is being recreated by the wonderful power of destructive technology.

Everything is new… except the seven secrets.

Change in the publishing industry is disturbing many.   We love this evolution due to these seven secrets we call the 7Ps.  The 7 Ps are so fundamental to writing and publishing that new technology enhances rather than reduces their power.

The First P is Passion.

Whatever your passion, you can immerse yourself in it AND create income with self publishing.  This can be your direct ticket to the kind of fulfillment you’ve always wanted.

Whether you want to travel the world or live as a recluse, work 12 hours a day or not work much at all,  you can set your schedule to succeed, if you’re willing to learn these seven secrets.

You can start part-time with any dream, passion, and budget.  Once you’ve created a product, you’ll enjoy the “multiple effect” of producing profits over and over again.

So the question is… What do you love to do?

What’s Your Passion:  An example is that thirty years ago, a client of Merri’s had a passion to help people who were in pain?  He published a series of pamphlets explaining various chiropractic disorders in very simple terms.  For example: “What Is Whiplash?”

The pamphlets contained solid information, but were simple 5″ x 7″ brochures with drawings and explanations. He sold them with a rack to chiropractors, who put them in their offices for patients to read.  These little self-published items sold year in and year out for decades.

There are thousands of ideas of this sort that can lead to big business.  It’s just a matter of defining and then acting on your passion.

Although I can work when I please and go where I wish, for me the most important reason for being a publisher is the satisfaction it brings.

I love the projects I take on, so work doesn’t feel like, well… work.

What do you love?  If you love golf, then you can write and sell publications about golf.  Love travel, fishing, dogs, dolls, or art?  Write and sell publications in these fields.

Are you concerned about crime, war, poverty or environmental issues?  You can publish information products that help reduce these concerns.

Would you like to help the world be a more spiritual place?  Publish a newsletter, write a book (or hire someone to write it for you), record a tape… publish something that enlightens people.

Whatever your passion, you can immerse yourself in it and earn income by publishing for ereaders, print on demand, CDs, lists, bound books, or any format you choose.

Be immersed in your passion and get paid well for it.

This is why stardom is not the main goal for most writers and self publishers.  Extra income, more freedom and fulfillment are usually more than enough enough.

The seven Ps are:

#1: Passion

#2: Problem

#3: Person

#4: Profitably Priced Product

#5: Prospecting Pathway

#6: Promise

#7: Presentation

The first time I exposed others to the secrets in Self Publishing was in a weekend “Writer’s Camp” seminar.  We offered the camp for $1,500. 80 delegates enrolled.  People from all walks of life attended—chiropractors, businessmen, investors, doctors, realtors, inventors, airline pilots, engineers, and housewives.

Merri and I were so overwhelmed by the response, we decided to make it available to a larger audience.  We created a written course based on our current self publishing activity called “Self Fulfilled – How to be a Self Publisher.”  Then we recorded the weekend “Writer’s Camp” seminar.

Thousands have used the course as it has evolved over the decades.

You can receive both the written course and the recorded weekend seminar, in an MP3 file, in a special “Live Well and Free Anywhere” program I am making available to you.  The normal fee is $299 for the written course and $299 for the recorded workshop.   I’ll send you both the course and the recorded workshop and my course “International Business Made EZ (also $299) all for $299.  You save $598.

We are so confident that you’ll gain from this offer that if you are not fully satisfied, simply email us within 60 days for a full refund .

These courses are not theoretical.  They describe, step-by-step, how Merri and I built a million-dollar international business and how we are running this self publishing business right now.   We use the 7Ps today just as we did four decades ago to create a strong annual income.

This correspondence course is for those who would like their own international self publishing micro business for fun and profit. If you want fun, freedom, extra income and fulfillment with your own full or part time writing or want to build your existing business, by writing to sell you can profit from this course.  The course can help who want their own business or who want to have a business together or a family business.  This is the perfect course for those who can no longer find employment, who are looking for ways to earn abroad and who wish to retire and supplement their income.

Whether you are retired, an investor, chiropractor, doctor, dentist, professional or already own your own business, this offers another way to make money, to turn your passion into profit. We guarantee that we have shared all we know to help you start and run your own international business.  Enjoy and live a life of following your Passion to Profit… through writing.

Here is a special offer.

We provide two emailed courses  “Self Fulfilled – How to Write to Sell and be a Self Publisher” and “International Business Made EZ”.

We include the “Self Fulfilled Writing and Self Publishing Course” because there are two reasons to write, when you have something to say or when you have something to sell.  In this day and age many of us want to do both, make a statement that makes the world a better place and earn something extra in the process.

Whatever your passion, however you do business, chances are you’ll be writing either to create a product or to sell a product.

You save more than $598 because you also receive a recorded webinar conducted by our webmaster David Cross (at no extra cost).

Happy New Year Q & A

Happy New Year. Merri and I send our best wishes to you for a wonderful 2011 and send our hopes that you find the strength, wisdom, tenacity and flexibility to enjoy and gain positive acceleration from your resolutions.

Over these holidays I had the joy of spending time with our son Jake and grandson Garren… a linage rich in Scot’s tradition.

the scott halls gone fishin

Enjoying Jake and Garren on the lake.

This led me to thinking about New Year’s Eve – Hogmanay and how the first visitor (called the first foot visitor) after midnight, should be dark to ensure good luck for the house, the first foot should be male, dark (this is believed to be a throwback to the Viking days when blond strangers arriving on your doorstep meant trouble).

hogmany-in-ecuador

Here is your dark stranger.  This shot was taken when I was swimming in Aqua Blanca, a sulphur lagoon near Puerto López, a small fishing village south of Manta in Ecuador.

The visitor should be carrying a lump of coal, dram of whiskey and a slice of black bun.

hogmany-in-ecuador
Here is your lump of coal.

Historians believe that Hogmany in Scotland evolved from the Vikings who, living so far north paid great attention to the passing of the shortest day. In parts of Scotland, New Year is called Yules, from the Scandinavian word.

In addition Christmas was virtually banned in Scotland for around 400 years, from the end of the 17th century to the 1950s. This had to do with Protestant Reformation and Christmas being viewed as a Catholic feast.  This left the New Year as the best time for an important winter solstice holiday when family and friends gathered for a feast and to exchange presents, especially for the children, which came to be called hogma.

There are some good hardy Scottish traditions in this celebration.  Cleaning the house on 31st December and clearing all your debts before “the bells” at midnight. Wouldn’t the world be different if all of society actually did that?

Bobby Burns’ wrote about this in “For Auld Lang Syne” (The times gone past; the good old days) based on an earlier fragment and a tune from the early 1700s.

“Should auld acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind?”

Part of the Hogmanay partying is to welcome friends and strangers, with warm hospitality and of course a kiss to wish everyone a Guid New Year. The underlying belief is to clear out the vestiges of the old year, have a clean break and welcome in a young, New Year on a happy note.

“First footing” (that is, the “first foot” in the house after midnight) is still common in Scotland. To ensure good luck for the house, the first foot should be male, dark mentioned above with symbolic coal, shortbread, salt, black bun and whiskey. These days, however, whiskey and perhaps shortbread are the only items still prevalent.

So I hope I am the “First Foot” in your home… dark with the coal.  Instead of whiskey and short bread (almost certainly not in your resolutions)… here is an potential idea for a business in Ecuador… or from Ecuador.

hogmany-in-ecuador

A New Year’s Welcome better than coal.

Since this year begins on Saturday, let’s start off the year with your comments questions and answers and begin with a great business idea.

Reader’s Great Idea: Your pancake recipe has inspired me.  I am in the process of moving to the Philippines and coconut products are most available here.  We make our own vco ( virgin coconut oil) and have easy access to coconut flour, free range eggs and Philippine cacao.  Our extra blessing is coconut sugar, which has a glycemic index as low as 35 making it suitable for even diabetics.  Have you tried increasing the BP to one full t.? Anyway the point of writing to you is the availability of coconut in Ecuador makes possible some of the newer coconut products on a cottage scale.  Knowing of your desire to assist in the rational development of Ecuador I am suggesting you might facilitate the production of VCO and coconut sugar as high value agricultural products serving to raise the prospects of poor Ecuadorian farmers.  As a visitor to Ecuador who eventually chose the Philippines for emigration, I would be happy to be of assistance should you so desire.   Regards,

My Comments: Great ideas! Thanks…If one’s passion is in helping others have better health, there are many ways one can turn this idea into a business. Making VCO or coconut sugar… selling it… wholesale or retail… teaching about it… creating tours or courses around it.   You can see an example of how there are a multitude of ways to turn your passion into profit at Global Business Opportunity.

Reader Question: Once I am trained to be an FM teacher, then what?  Please explain what the next process would be.  Thanks.

My reply: This is a beta program so we are not sure what’s next… if anything.

What we do know is that a number of the trainees have existing businesses and are taking the training to improve what they already do. Others have told us they plan to create a training business.  This is why we are creating the email course on how to have a teaching and/or seminar business to go along with the FM training.

We hope that some of the trainees who create their own businesses will teach programs that we could we could promote…. help them build their own site and such. But we do not have any outline yet on how this will work nor do we promise that this will come to fruition.  After being in this type of business for four decades, we have learned to be flexible and let the process guide us rather than create a rigidity that may lead us down the wrong road.

We hope to meet and work with you in a Happy New Year.  Learn about about FM Teacher Training here.

Reader Question: My husband likes Cuenca since it is more cosmopolitan and they have a golf course there which appears to be a rare thing in Ecuador.
Do you see any negatives in investing in Cuenca?  I know you and Merri prefer Cotacachi but would still like your input.
We did the coastal tour but my husband could not stomach the surrounding poverty and was depressed about it even though the ocean and beaches are exceptional. Thanks!

My Reply: Many more of our readers have purchased in Cuenca than in the north or anywhere else in Ecuador.

If Merri and I were to live in a city, Cuenca would be the place… but if you have been reading our sites for long you know we are quirky about city life. Living in Hong Kong and London all those years filled our desire to be in crowded places decades ago.

We desire to be away from people.  We do not even go to Cotacachi much any more because though it is still a village it has grown so much.

The downsides for us have always been… Cuenca weather is a bit colder than Imbabura…we chose 14 years ago to help the indigenous and they of course are very prominent in the Imbabura area.  Also, because of many obligations, it is hard on us to have the extra day to get there and return. But these are our own desires and do not reflect the majority of others.  We don’t go out at night and we rarely ever eat out except the occasional breakfast, so restaurants and the like (and we don’t play golf or tennis) don’t interest us.  Not to say these aren’t extremely interesting to others!

On the upside Cuenca is a real city with many western comforts and my guess is that 60% or 70% f our readers like Cuenca best.  This is why Jean Marie and Stephen Milden are conducting more Ecuador real estate tours in Cuenca than anywhere else this year. They have expanded each tour to three days and have scheduled eight Cuenca real estate tours this year.

I would like to add one important point about these tours. Jean Marie nor Stephen nor any of the Ecuador Ateam sell real estate or take commissions on sales of real estate so delegates on their tours get an objective view of the real estate market without any hidden agendas. You can see about Cuenca real estate tours here.

Reader’s Comments: I had the opportunity to attend the Imbabura import/export seminar in October 2009. I was there with my husband, Wilfred. It was a great experience! We met the kind people in Ecuador, graceful women and gallant gentle men. From your end, we met Bonnie a kind articulate administrator and all the others working in the kitchen at your hotel. I came back this last October 2010 with my daughter, who has an online fashion store. Bonnie as usual was up to the task. All arrangements were made, and we were safely brought home to Cotacachi by Omar who is another wonderful guy. Did I just call Cotacachi home? Yes. It was nice coming back. Anyway, I would like to share something valuable with every expatriate planning to change their environment. You cannot enjoy the transition unless you change your attitude, let’s look at the following:

1.      You are not coming to conquer or boss around some primitive people.
2.      Every culture deserves respect.
3.      If you are looking at what is not right, you are denying yourself of the experience of what is right.
4.      Kind words and attitude will attract same.
5.      Do not bring your profanities to a land where spirituality governs the way of life.
6.      Live in the “now” and enjoy every aspect of the transition.
7.      Happiness is a choice; it’s not about place or environment.
8.      You cannot change others, you can only change yourself.
9.      If you want to try something new, you have to be open-minded.

Best of luck to every prospective person looking for a change, and a big thank you to our pioneers Gary & Merri.

My Comments: Well said! I certainly cannot improve on that!

Reader Question: Gary, my wife and I are long time readers of your website and are planning to move to Ecuador sometime in April or May.  We recently read an article from International Living that stated that Ecuador had a special retirement plan for pensioners that can save on expenses for retired people.  Have you heard of such a program and can you explain this to us.  Thank You, P.S. we love your news letter.

My Reply: IL is spot on. Essentially many items are charged at half price for people living in Ecuador who are aged over 65… air fares… park entrances… electricity, property tax, plus a refund on some sales tax.

The way to get the sales tax refund is to visit the SRI (Ecuador’s IRS) and register. You’ll be entitled to submit bi-monthly, up to $140 a month of official receipts for the previous 2 months. The SRI will refund the 12% tax paid on most goods and services directly into your Ecuador bank account up to $1,680 a year.

You get 50% discount on property taxes. If a couple are both over 65 there is no property tax at all.

Water and electric bills are reduced by 50% as are air fares and park entrances.

Learn more about Ecuador’s Social Security in an article “Ecuador Health Insurance Update” written by Bonnie Keough on Ecuador’s Ateam.

Reader Question: Hi Gary, I’m thinking we may have met in 2008 at the Sat. Otavalo market.  But that’s another story from a previous incarnation LOL.

WOW!  Look at you go.  When last in Ecuador I had a bite at Meson de las Flores.  Congratulations on acquiring it!

Since you and Merri seem to be on a spiritual path and mindful in your undertakings, I wonder what part Fair Trade plays in your business dealings in Ecuador?  I’m also curious if you’re aware of the high incidence of cancer and other illness because of the chemicals used by workers in Ecaudor’s ever-so-popular flower business?

I will be heading back to Imbabura in later May 2011 and would enjoy meeting you two!  I usually stay on the little road between Otavalo and Cotacachi via Quiroga.

Blessed be!

My Reply: We as a family and a business recognize the need to focus on environmental and social issues in life and business. Our son is an environmental attorney in training (formerly with National Wildlife Federation) and our daughter took her masters degree at London School of Economics in social planning so she could work with UNICEF in Africa and now Christian Aid to help improve the lives of poor people in developing countries so they would murder me if I did otherwise.

See seven ways we have worked to encourage green, fair trade and more business including in the rose business below.

#1: Please see our policy of using only rose plantations that are certified fair trade environmentally clean roses at

#4: We have been promoting green investing with a major European bank for more than a decade.
See http://www.garyascott.com/2010/09/13/9287.html

#5: We have been promoting Purely Green an bio degradable non mutagenic cleaner, pesticide, fertilizer for over a decade
http://www.ecuadorliving.com/2009/03/27/ecuador-organic-business.html

#6: In the last 15 years, our foundation has donated over a million dollars for reforestation in Ecuador… to provide scholarships and employment for the indigenous there.
See http://landofthesun.org/

#7: We have been promoting a draft wood concept (where we live in summers) in North Carolina to help stimulate employment in an environmentally sensitive way there.

As to the chemicals in the flower business, this part wonderfully is or has ended.  Almost all of the growers ship to the biggest buyers in the world:  The Netherlands, France, Germany, Russia and these countries will not accept roses unless they are green!  There are a few places that still use chemicals…and one of those is near Quiroga because they are foreigners shipping to their own foreign country.  The growers that we have known for over a decade cannot be criticized as they are caring Spanish aristocrats who know their positions of being in charge of the welfare of their workers.  They have for a long time given many many benefits and most of them that we know use Vitamin C as their main growth to the flowers.  There have been a host of movies/shorts on this subject of chemicals but most of them (thank God) are way way out of date.  We pray that those plantations which persist in the old ways will fall away and give in to the beauty of green!

Happy New Year. We look forward to sharing an abundant and fulfilling adventure called 2011 with you.

The Huge 2019 Risk

Here is a huge risk that could explode in 2019.

I hope I am wrong… but the numbers are clear.

According to Treasurydirect.com, (1) as of December 27, 2018 the cost of interest on the total US public debt of $21,845,329,154,412.01.  Tht’s 23 trillion and 845 billion dollars.

This is not a theoretical problem for the future.  This is not something that our children and grandchildren will have to deal with.  This is a problem in the here and now for you and me.

Rising interest rates create a massive problem for every American.

US debt

The good news is I sent a note like this last year ad I was wrong.

Last year when I sent that note the debt was $20,467,375,664,755.32 (20 trillion+).  The debt has increased almost 1.4 trillion dollars in 2018.

This is good news and bad… the rock and the hard spot.  The bad news is that the rock (US federal debt) is getting bigger….harder to miss.  The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected in 2010 (the debt then was a bit over 14 trillion then) that, under law at that time, debt held by the public would exceed $16 trillion by 2020, reaching nearly 70 percent of GDP.

The $5 Trillion Error.

They sure goofed on that.  Here we are… only in 2019 and debt has shot past 21 trillion.

How could the CBO be so wrong?

The CBO screwed up because they could never imagine that the Fed would push interest rates so low… and keep them there.  The interest rates are so low that the government has been able to borrow more than imagined and still afford the interest.

For example, US Federal government interest last year amounted to around $483 billion on the 20 trillion of debt.  Yet in 2008 on debt of only $9,229,172,659,218.31 (9 trillion +) the interest that year was $451,154,049,950.63 (451 billion +).

Interest payments in 2017 were 7% higher than they were in 2008.  Yet the debt is over 100% higher.

Very low interest rates have helped the government borrow.  Low interest has also helped the US stocks reach all time high prices.

Now US dollar interest rates are rising.  In 2018 the interest costs were 8.2% higher than in 2017.   Yet the debt increase was only 6.7%.

The government will resist raising rates because it will ruin their budget, cause a collapse of the stock markets and destroy the US dollar.

Here is the very hard spot.

Rising interest rates, will create an almost unimaginable debt crisis.  If government interest goes to 6% it is like the $20+ trillion national debt  rising to 40 trillion!  Unless there are some huge tax increase the interest payments are not sustainable.

A tax increase?  Last year’s tax act reduced, not increased, revenue.

Learn how to have more freedom and time, less stress, better health care, extra income, greater safety and profit in your savings despite America’s deficits, debt and currency risk.

Fortunately there are secrets that will allow a few to live much better, free of debt and worry despite the decline in the dollar’s purchasing power.   My wife, Merri and I, have traveled, lived, worked and invested around the world for nearly 50 years to gain this information.

Let me share the basics of this data and how we can be of help through 2018.

The first fact behind this secret is that things are really good in the western world.  Despite many problems, we are surrounded by more abundance and greater opportunity than almost anyone has ever enjoyed, anywhere, ever.   To enjoy a fair share of this wealth, all we have to do is understand human nature and learn how to invest in the new economy, as it changes and becomes new, again and again.

Merri and I have made seven huge transitions in the 50 years.  Each has allowed us to always stay ahead of losses that the majority of Americans suffer.  We are in another transition right now and want to share why and what to do so you can stay ahead and live a richer, independent life through 2019 and beyond.

A falling US dollar is one of the greatest risks we have to our independence, safety, health, and wealth, but also brings a window of huge profit as I explain below.   Though the greenback has been strong for a number of years, its strength is in serious jeopardy.  The growing federal deficits increase the national debt and this with rising interest rates propels a growing debt service.

While the Dow Jones Industrial Average passed 25,000, the U.S. national debt passed the $20 trillion mark.

The problem is that the Dow will come back down.  National debt will not fall.

The double shock of money fleeing Wall Street and US debt skyrocketing, will destroy the purchasing power of the greenback.

Go to the store even now.  Statistics say inflation is low, but buy some bread or, heaven forbid, some fresh vegetables like peppers or fruit.   Look at the cost of your prescription or hospital bills.  Do something simple like have your car serviced at an auto dealer.  Look at the dollars you spend and you’ll see what I mean.

The loss of the dollar’s purchasing power erodes our independence, our freedom and our savings and wealth as well.

At the same time, low interest rates by big banks and higher health care costs soak up the ever diminishing income and savings we have left.  According to a Gallup poll, the most unpopular three institutions in America are big corporations & Wall Street banks, HMOs and Congress.

Yet there is little we can do because these institutions are in control.

Over the last 50 years the average income for 90 percent of the American population fell.  Our health system is restricted by a Kafka-esque maze of legislation and insurance regulations that delay, frustrate, and thwart attempts by patients and doctors from proper medical care.  Big banks and corporations restrict our freedom of choice.  The business customer relationships are no longer transactions between free equals.

Banks can trap us in indebtedness at every age from student loans to mortgages to health care costs.  They pay almost nothing on our savings.  They hide unexpected fees and payments in complex and unreadable documents.  Banks and big corporations routinely conceal vital information in small print and then cheat.  Weak regulations and lax enforcement leave consumers with few ways to fight back.  Many of these businesses ranging from cable TV to phone and internet service to health insurance have virtual monopolies that along with deceptive marketing destroys any form of free market.

These same companies control the credit-scoring agencies so if  we don’t pay unfair fees, our credit scores will plunge and we could lose the ability to borrow money, rent an apartment, even to get a job.  Many consumers are forced to accept “arbitration clauses” in lieu of  legal rights.  The alternative is to lose banking, power, and communication services.

Big business has also usurped our privacy.  Internet companies sell our personal data.  Personal information is pulled from WiFi and iPhones track and store our movements.  The government can access this information, sometimes without subpoenas.  There’s a lot that we don’t know, often withheld under the guise of “National Security.”

The glow on Western democratic capitalism has dimmed… or so it seems.  The US, leading the way, is still a superpower with economic, innovation and military might, but the institutions that should serve the people have become flawed or broken.

America’s infrastructure is in shambles.  The nation’s bridges are crumbling, many water systems are filled with toxins, yet instead of spending more to fix this, we build more prisons.  The 2.2 million people currently in  jail is a 500 percent increase over the past thirty years.  60% of the inmates belong to ethnic groups.  Not just non-white ethnic groups are suffering.  Annual death rates are falling for every group except for middle-aged white Americans.  Death rates are rising among this group driven by an epidemic of suicides and afflictions stemming from substance abuse, alcoholic liver disease and overdoses of heroin and prescription opioids.

America’s middle class is shrinking.  Nearly  half of America’s income goes to upper-income households now.  In 1970 only 29 percent went to this group.  How can we regain our freedom, our happiness and our well being in such a world?

What can we do?

Gain a better, freer life is to combine better health, higher income and greater savings for a happier, more resilient lifestyle.

Merri and I will celebrate our 50th year of global living, working, investing and researching to find and share ideas on how to have simpler, low stress, healthier, more affluent lifestyles.  Our courses, reports and email messages look at ways to gain:

#1:  Global micro business income.

#2:  Low cost, natural health.

#3:  Safer, more profitable, investments that take little time or cost to buy and hold… so you can focus on earning more instead

Many readers use our services for just one of these three benefits.  They focus only on health or on earning more or on better, easier investing.

28 years ago Merri and I created the International Club as a way for readers to join us and be immersed in all three of these benefits.   The International Club is a year long learning program aimed at helping members earn worry free income, have better affordable good health and gain extra safety and profits with value investments.

Join us for all of 2019 NOW.

The three disciplines, earning, health and investing, work best when coordinated together.  Regretfully the attacks on our freedom are realities of life.  There is little we can do to change this big picture.  However we can change how we care for our health, how we earn and how we save so that we are among the few who live better despite the dollar’s fall.

We start with better lower cost health care.

Club membership begins by sharing ways to be free of the “Secret Hospital Charge Master”.   Just as governments hide truth behind “National Security”, big health care businesses hide medical truths behind “Charge masters”.  Most hospital charge masters are secret because big business does not want us to know how much hospital costs have risen.  Motivations beyond our good health, like corporate greed, want to keep us in the dark about health care cost.

Despite rising health care costs, a report from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention shows that hospitals are the last place we want to be for good health.  One report shows that hospital-acquired infections alone kills 57% more Americans every year than all car accidents and falls put together.

Often, what patients catch in the hospital can be worse than what sent them there.  Governments and health care agencies agree  – antibiotic resistance is a “nightmare.”  An antibiotic-resistant bacteria may be spreading in more hospitals than patients know.  About one in every 25 hospitalized patients gets an infection and a report from the Journal of Patient Safety showed that medical errors are the third-leading cause of death in the country.

Along with the risk of hospital acquired illness and medical errors, the second huge threat to our well being… is health care costs, especially at hospitals.  This is why charge masters are so often secret.  There are few risks to our wealth that are greater than a hospital stay.

I have created three natural health reports are about:

#1: Nutrition

#2: Purification

#3: Exercise

Each report is available for $19.95.  However you’ll receive this free as club member and save $59.85.

Next, club members participate in an intensive program called the Purposeful investing Course (Pi).  The purpose of Pi is finding value investments that increase safety and profit.  Learn Slow, Worry Free, Good Value Investing.

Stress, worry and fear are three of an investor’s worst enemies.  These destroyers of wealth can create a Behavior Gap, that causes investors to underperform in any market good or bad.  The behavior gap is created by natural human responses to fear.  Pi helps create profitable strategies that avoid losses from this gap.

Lessons from Pi are based on the creation and management of a Primary Pi Model Portfolio, called the Pifolio.  There are no secrets about this portfolio except that it ignores the stories from economic news (often created by someone with vested interests) and is based mainly on good math that reveals the truth through financial news.

The Pifolio is a theoretical portfolio of MSCI Country Benchmark Index ETFs that cover all the good value markets using my 50 years of global experience and my study of the analysis of four mathematical investing geniuses (and friends).

There are seven layers of tactics in the Pi strategy.

Pi Tactic #1: Determine purpose and good value.

Pi Tactic #2: Diversify 70% to 80% of portfolio equally in good value developed markets.

Pi Tactic #3: Invest 20% to 30% equally in good value emerging markets.

Pi Tactic  #4:  Use trending algorithms to buy sell or hold these markets.

Pi Tactic  #5:  Add spice speculating with ideal conditions.

Pi Tactic  #6: Add spice speculating with leverage.

Pi Tactic  #7:  Add spice speculating with forex potential.

The Pifolio analysis begins with a continual research of international major stock markets that compares their value based on:

#1:  Current book to price

#2:  Cash flow to price

#3:  Earnings to price

#4:  Average dividend yield

#5:  Return on equity

#6:  Cash flow return

#7:  Market history

We combine the research of several brilliant mathematicians and money managers with my years of investing experience.

This is a complete and continual study of what to do about the movement of international major and emerging stock markets.  I want to share this study throughout the next year with you.

This analysis forms the basis of a Good Value Stock Market Strategy.  The analysis is rational, mathematical and does not worry about short term ups and downs.  This strategy is easy for anyone to follow and use.  Pi reveals the best value markets and provides contacts to managers and analysts and Country Index ETFs so almost anyone can create and follow their own strategy.

The costs are low and this type of ETF is one of the hardest for institutions to cheat.  Expense ratios for most ETFs are lower than those of the average mutual fund.  Little knowledge, time, management or guesswork are required.  The investment is simply a diversified portfolio of good value indices.  Investments in an index are like investments in all the shares of a good value market.

Pi opens insights to numerous long term cycles that most investors miss because they have not been investing long enough to see them.

The Pi subscription is normally $99 per annum but as a club member you receive Pi at no charge and save an additional $99.

Profit from the US dollar’s fall.

In the 1980s, a remarkable set of two economic circumstances helped anyone who spotted them become remarkably rich.  Some of my readers made enough to retire.  Others picked up 50% currency gains.  Then the cycle ended.  Warren Buffett explained the importance of this ending in a 1999 Fortune magazine interview.  He said:  Let me summarize what I’ve been saying about the stock market: I think it’s very hard to come up with a persuasive case that equities will over the next 17 years perform anything like—anything like—they’ve performed in the past 17!

Club members receive a report about opportunity in the  current strength of the US dollar is a second remarkable similarity to 30 years ago.   The dollar rose along with Wall Street.  Profits came quickly over three years.  Then the dollar dropped like a stone, by 51%  in just two years.  A repeat of this pattern is growing and could create up to 50% extra profit if we start using strong dollars to accumulate good value stock market ETFs in other currencies.

This is the most exciting opportunity I have seen since we started sending our reports on international investing ideas more than three decades ago.  The trends are so clear that I created a short, but powerful report “Three Currency Patterns for 50% Profits or More.”   This report shows how to earn an extra 50% from currency shifts with even small investments.  I kept the report short and simple, but included links to 153 pages of  Good Value Stock Market research and Asset Allocation Analysis.

The report shows 20 good value investments and a really powerful tactic that shows the most effective and least expensive way to accumulate these bargains in large or even very small amounts (less than $5,000).  There is extra profit potential of at least 50% so the report is worth a lot.

This report sells for $29.95 but when you become a club member you receive the report, “Three Currency Patterns For 50% Profits or More” FREE.

Plus get the $39.99 report, “The Platinum Dip 2019” free.

With investors watching global stock markets bounce up and down, many missed two really important profit generating events.  The price of silver dipped below $14 an ounce as did shares of the iShares Silver ETF (SLV).   The second event is that the silver gold ratio hit 80 and has remained near this level, compared to a range of the 230s only two years ago.

Now there is a new distortion ready to ripen in the year ahead.

These two events are a strong sign to invest in precious metals.

I prepared a special report “Platinum Dip 2019”.   The report explains the exact conditions you need to make leveraged precious metal speculations that can increase the returns in a safe portfolio by as much as eight times.  The purpose of the report is to share long term lessons about speculating in precious metals gained through 30 years of speculating and investing in gold and silver.

The low price of silver offers special value now so I want to send you this report because the “Platinum Dip 2018” offers enormous profit potential in 2018.

The report “Platinum Dip 2019” sells for $39.95 but club members receive it free as well.

The $39.95 new “Live Anywhere – Earn Everywhere Report” is also free.

There is an incredible new economy that’s opening for those who know what to do.  There are great new opportunities and many of them offer enormous income potential but also work well in disaster scenarios.

There are are specific places where you can reduce your living expenses and easily increase your income.  Scientific research has shown that being in such places actually make you smarter and healthier.  Top this off with the fact that they provide tax benefits as well and you have to ask, “Where are these places?”.

Learn about these specific places.  More important learn what makes them special.  Discover seven freedom producing steps that you can use to find other similar places of opportunity.

The report includes a tax and career plan broken into four age groups, before you finish school, from age 25 to 50 – age 50-to 65 and what to do when you reach the age where tradition wants you to re-tire.  (Another clue-you do not need to retire and probably should not!)

The report is very specific because it describes what Merri and I, our children and even my sister and thousands of our readers have done and are doing, right now.

Live Anywhere – Earn Everywhere focuses on a system that takes advantage of living in Smalltown USA, but earning locally and globally.

This report is available online for $39.99 but International Club members receive it free.

Save $418.78… “plus more” when you become a club member.

Join the International Club and receive:

#1: The $99 Personal investing Course (Pi).   Free.
