Beyond Chelation Report

How does Chelation Therapy work?

It is a largely hidden fact that the main blood vessel leaving the heart of a healthy 80 year old man has 140 TIMES more pathologic calcium in it that the main blood vessel of a healthy boy of ten. What is EDTA and is it safe?

Secret of the Hogberry

Fortunately there is a little known way to reduce body fat that does not even require exercise.  I’ll share more on this secret in a moment.

First, body fat and cancer?   Let’s ask why?

Part of the answer is toxicity.

Healthy bodies naturally and regularly remove water-soluble toxins from the body.  Our blood and kidneys flush them away.

Fat-soluble toxins such as metals, pesticides, preservatives, other pollutants are harder to flush out of the system.   Fat-soluble toxins must become water-soluble before the body can get rid of them.  The liver can do this conversion (bile emulsifies fat-souble toxins into water-soluble).  This process requires healthy digestive and detox pathways.  When they become imbalanced, fat-soluble toxins are stored in fat cells and brain cells instead.   These toxins can remain for decades and create health problems.

The fat stored toxins cause oxidation (free radical damage) and degeneration as well as mutation.  Toxins in the fatty tissue of the brain become neurotoxins that can cause cognitive problems and a host of mental and brain imbalances.

The way to avoid this storage of deadly toxicity is to keep stress down, while digestion and detoxification pathways remain good.

Burn Fat to Burn Toxins

When you burn fat not primarily for weight loss, (though you will lose weight) but for purification, you can turn on the body’s detox fuel.  Fat metabolism is the body’s natural form of energy.   Fat metabolism provides a more steady energy than glucose metabolism and flushes fat cells free of toxins.  As the toxicity drops, the nervous system has reduced stress and will naturally burn fat instead of sugar.

Smarter & Stronger With Omega 3

Early each morning, I walk around my front yard… in a special way.

The shamans of the Andes call this the Llama Walk, an exercise that strengthens leg muscles.

Easy exercises are a daily part of the routine I use to maintain energy, vitality and natural good health.

This has worked well for me!  I have only had to visit an MD for symptoms of disease or taken any pharmaceutical once in 50 years.

Results showed that changes in muscle mass and function were less than from exercise training, but the same or greater than those achieved with testosterone, growth-hormone and were clearly clinically relevant.  The group using the Omega 3 had 3.5% more muscle mass and 6% more muscle strength, suggesting that 6 months of Omega 3 therapy can prevent 2 to 3 years of normal age-associated losses in muscle mass.

Chemistry Lesson Explaining Health & Wealth


Our health and wealth are determined by our activity.  Balanced even, logical actions lead to success.  Irrational, compulsive behavior concludes in failure. One way to understand the difference in these behaviors is through our brain chemistry.

Actually the chemical structure for Dopamine is Ho-Oh-Nh2 but the idea that it creates being happy is accurate.

In very simple chemical terms, our actions are very much ruled by the correct balance of Insulin and Adrenaline on one hand and Serotonin and Dopamine on the other  The process is incredibly complex and involves numerous precursors and inhibitors, but we can gain quite an important command over our  actions with a simple understanding of these four chemicals.

Dopamine creates feelings of pleasure and euphoria. It also plays an important role in locomotion, learning, memory, and other emotions.  When we are exposed to pleasurable things such as food, new clothes, a shiny new car or sex, dopamine is moved to parts of the brain that create action.

Serotonin is responsible for maintaining mood balance.  A deficiency of Serotonin in the brain can cause depression, upset appetite and lead to obesity.  Doctors prescribe Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) which increase the amount of Serotonin in the system.

An extended period of stress activates the stress hormones:  Adrenaline and Insulin.  These two chemicals are in a constant battle to counteract each other.  They also interfere with Dopamine and Serotonin production.

Other daily activities, beyond stress, also throw this complex chemical balance out of whack.

Addictive activity, such as winning at gambling in the stock market or in any way create dopamine rushes that are addictive.

Drugs like cocaine and other stimulants hit those reward centers hard.  Addiction is likely.

Excessive sugar consumption stimulates Insulin.  Too much Insulin stimulates a flood of Adrenaline.  This process reduces Serotonin and a person low in Serotonin is inclined to consume even more sugar in an attempt to increase Serotonin and Dopamine.

Watching or reading the news can create Adrenaline.

Maintaining the correct chemical balance is a full time job in our busy, stress filled world.  Here are three things we can do to maintain a positive balance between these four (and other related) chemicals.

Balancing Activity #1: Listen to 60 cycle Baroque music that creates Dopamine.

A New York Times article “Why Music Makes Our Brain Sing”  explains that research using brain imaging shows that music engages the reward system deep in the important reward and motivation emotions.  Listening to “peak emotional moments” in music, when we feel a “chill” of pleasure causes the release of the Dopamine.

Balancing Activity #2: Lower Blood Sugar

Researchers have linked dozens of physical symptoms to stress overload, from fatigue to weight gain.  High blood sugar levels is caused by too much stress.  When you’re stressed, your body is primed to take action. This “gearing up” causes our hearts to beat faster, our breath to quicken, and our stomachs to knot. Blood sugar levels skyrocket. High blood sugar kicks in an insulin rush and especially if our cells are insulin resistant, the sugar builds up in our blood and turns to fat or worse.

Here are seven ways to reduce blood sugar levels:

#1: Eat carbs with a low glycemic load such as carrots, beets, peas, pears, apples, peach, grapefruit, orange, papaya.

#2: Stop wheat and or dairy or both for a week.

#3: Cut out alcohol for a week.

#4: Go to bed before 10pm for a week.

#5: Don’t eat carbs at night for a week.

#6: Stop eating after 6pm for a week.

#7: Eat light (only 600 calories a day) 2 days a week and normal the other 5 days for a month.

Balancing Activity #3: Take Omega 3 Supplements.

A report from at the website of the US National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health (1) says:   Omega-3 fatty acids have anti-inflammatory properties and can alter central nervous system cell membrane fluidity and phospholipid composition. Cell membrane fluidity can alter Serotonin and Dopamine neurotransmission. (3)

Another article at Mercola.com (4) tells how neuroscientists have been examining the consequences of omega-3 deficiencies in the central nervous system.  Alterations in serotonin and dopamine levels, as well as the functioning of these two important neurotransmitters is evident in an omega-3 deficiency. The changes observed in omega-3 deficiency in animals is strikingly similar to that found in autopsy studies of human depression.

The influence of omega-3 fatty acids in mental health, particularly have been underestimated. Experiments and clinical studies have all shown a strong connection between omega-3 fatty acids (or a lack thereof) and major depression.

Omega 3 helps produce an enzyme that is necessary to correct serotonin and dopamine levels.  Elevated insulin levels impair this enzyme, and over 80 percent of the U.S. population has elevated insulin levels.  From that perspective alone, it is important to include animal-based sources of omega-3 fats.

Mercola’s article says that the best animal-based omega-3 options are marine oils.

An important study entitled  “Affective Neuroscience: The Foundations of Human and Animal Emotions (1998), by Jaak Panksepp (5) explains that the overall functions of parts of the brain are controlled by of one major ‘power switch’ dopamine.  Dopamine circuits “appear to be major contributors to our feelings of engagement and excitement as we seek the material resources needed for bodily survival, and also when we pursue the cognitive interests that bring positive existential meanings into our lives.”  Without dopamine, “human aspirations remain frozen,” Panksepp says.  “When dopamine is abundant in synapses, “a person feels as if he or she can do anything”.  Panksepp asks: “Is it any wonder that humans and animals eagerly work to artificially activate this system whether via electrical or chemical means?  Cocaine and amphetamines are psychologically addicting because they facilitate activity in brain Dopamine systems.”

The gist of this chemistry lesson is that we humans are hard wired to stimulate our Dopamine systems.  When we choose to balance our chemistry so the Dopamine rewards come from the results of positive long term activity, we create positive spirals and success.  When we let erratic, short term, negative actions create our rewards, we start negative downward spirals that lead to poor health and loss of wealth.

The choice is ours.

Brain Purification


Here are three steps you can take that help purify the brain. 

I love it when coincidences beat me over the head with important ideas.  Recently three separate events slammed into my day.

Beyond Chelation Report

This message outlines how and why, in the 1960’s, due to strict OSHA regulations, the government curtailed a simple (and incredibly low cost) amino acid that can help improve cardiovascular systems, increase memory, improve vision, enhance vitality, expand energy and extend lifespan.

One year when we had a Super Thinking Course at our farm.  One of the course delegates was a doctor in his eighties.   He had the energy and looks of a much, much younger man.  When asked about his secret of youth he said his vitality was based on several factors.  A few of the habits  you would expect, such as good diet, sufficient exercise and plenty of activity in a strong, purposeful life.

Then he explained another secret of his youth and energy: chelation.

How does Chelation Therapy work?

It is a largely hidden fact that the main blood vessel leaving the heart of a healthy 80 year old man has 140 TIMES more pathologic calcium in it that the main blood vessel of a healthy boy of ten. By means of chelation therapy, this unwanted calcium (causing a build up of vulnerable plaque, hardening of the arteries, and potential heart problems) is removed from blood vessels and put into water-soluble complexes (chelates), which are readily excreted through the kidneys. Clinical observations reveal, however, that the amount of calcium in bones is not affected by the removal of calcium in the arteries nor is it diminished by the use of EDTA chelation therapy.

What is EDTA and is it safe?
