Magic in Magnesium


Is there health magic in magnesium?

Our readers wrote about how he had enjoyed an incredible health change with food supplements and magnesium.

He recently sent this note.

Hola Merri-  Great to hear form you…and of course I appreciate your offers, on the courses, Product, and ALL.

 I now realize I was also taking the Magnesium supplement you shared with me as well as Dr Gordon’s Beyond Chelation formula.

Initially it was to reduce or eliminate the night-cramps i was getting, but it likely was a partial influence on my dramatic Ttriglycerides improvement as well.

Recently I have been out for awhile, some cramps have returned and my triglycerides raised back up a bit, though I am still taking the Beyond Chelation. You may want to add it to your Health Offerings, as well!?

When I ran out of the magnesium some night leg cramps returned, plus I did go back for some more blood-lab tests and my triglycerides were back up a bit, not extremely, but enough.

I could not identify any other changes in diet which could have caused that and then I read this research article from a really credible resource on Magnesium Miracles,and got an “AHA” type moment!

Not taking the magnesium was the ONLY measurable change I have made…not having & taking it!

Magnesium improves and helps correct insulin sensitivity, which is the fundamental defect that characterizes pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome and even full-blown diabetes and heart disease.  An intracellular enzyme called tyrosine kinaserequires magnesium to allow insulin to exert its blood-sugar-lowering effects.  In several studies, daily oral magnesium supplementation substantially improved insulin sensitivity by 10 percent and reduced blood sugar by a huge 37 percent.

Improved insulin sensitivity from magnesium replacement can markedly reduce triglyceride levels.  Reduced triglyceride availability, in turn, reduces triglyceride-rich particles, such as very-low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) and small low-density lipoprotein (small LDL), both of which are powerful contributors to heart disease.  Magnesium supplementation can also raise levels of beneficial high-density lipoprotein (HDL).

A recent article in USA Today, “As obesity’s link to COVID-19 grows, one family that lost 24-year-old daughter diets together” (1) tells the tale.

The article says:  The parents and two brothers of Silvia Deyanira Melendez, 24, are all in therapy after losing their daughter and sister to COVID-19 on March 28.  She weighed more than 300 pounds with a body mass index of 60, double the BMI considered obese. This most likely contributed heavily to her Type 2 diabetes, hypertension and a heart condition that required open-heart surgery two years ago.

The chronic conditions that increase the risk of serious illness and death of COVID-19 are now well known: diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and being older than 65. Obesity is less well known or understood. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention groups “severe obesity,” defined as having a BMI of 40 or higher, with the other known “risk factors for serious illness” for COVID-19.

A growing number of studies and data on COVID-19 deaths confirm the link. The extra weight on people in the 40-plus BMI range who contract COVID-19 increases the chance they will require hospitalization, most likely in the intensive care unit. It also hampers the ability of physicians to treat them, especially with ventilators, doctors say.

Body fat complicates many health problems.   For example more than 100 studies have found that physical activity can lower cancer risk and even help cure cancer.  Fortunately researchers asked why and one answer became clear. Body fat.

Studies showed that reduced body fat creates  a 25% lower chance of developing cancer.

Fortunately there is a little known way to reduce body fat that does not even require exercise.? I’ll share more on this secret in a moment.

First, body fat, COVID-19 and cancer? Let’s ask why?

Part of the answer is toxicity.

Healthy bodies naturally and regularly remove water-soluble toxins from the body. Our blood and kidneys flush them away.

Fat-soluble toxins such as metals, pesticides, preservatives, other pollutants are harder to flush out of the system. Fat-soluble toxins must become water-soluble before the body can get rid of them. The liver can do this conversion (bile emulsifies fat-souble toxins into water-soluble). This process requires healthy digestive and detox pathways. When they become imbalanced, fat-soluble toxins are stored in fat cells and brain cells instead. These toxins can remain for decades and create health problems.

The fat stored toxins cause oxidation (free radical damage) and degeneration as well as mutation. Toxins in the fatty tissue of the brain become neurotoxins that can cause cognitive problems and a host of mental and brain imbalances.

Burn Fat to Burn Toxins

When you burn fat you turn on the body’s detox fuel.  Fat metabolism is the body’s natural form of energy. Fat metabolism provides a more steady energy than glucose metabolism and flushes fat cells free of toxins. As the toxicity drops, the nervous system has reduced stress and will naturally burn fat instead of sugar.

Natural Health From the Outside In


Here is a double clue on how to improve natural health from the inside out.

When it comes to healthy living, there is so much data that often conflicts.   The way I sort through this is to cross reference.   The search is natural health dots to connect.  I observe many heath disciplines looking for common threads that reveal glimpses of truth.

Recently two important dots were connected.  The first dot was a test that an Ecuadorian yatchak continually gave Merri and me when we lived and worked with him.     One discipline he gave us was to walk each morning in pure Andean mists.   He explained that the hydrogen molecules in the mists attached to free radicals in our skin and cleansed us from the outside in.  The clean mists are an anti-oxidant.

I learned that the fastest way to get anything into our bodies is through the lungs.   The skin is our largest organ of elimination and is vital for cleansing.

Chiropractor and ayurvedic physician John Douillard has been one of the great natural health influences in Merri’s and my life.

Reducing overall stress may play a significant role in improving the health and condition of the skin.

Perhaps the most documented mechanism of stress on the health of the skin is free radical damage. While the sun may be the biggest source of free radical skin damage, research has shown that emotional stress can also muster up significant free radicals and damage the skin.

Researchers have found that when antioxidants are combined together, they have a synergistic effect yielding skin-protective benefits that are better than when individual compounds are taken alone.

In a double-blind randomized, placebo-controlled study, a combination of two common Ayurvedic herbs, Amalaki (Phyllanthus emblica) and Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera, also spelled Ashwaganda), were administered and the effects were measured.

The third dot is a study on essential oil anti-oxidant activity in the website of the National Institutes of Health US National Library of Medicine says (bolds are mine):

Abstract

Thirteen essential oils were examined for their antioxidant activity using three different assay systems. Jasmine, parsley seed, rose, and ylang-ylang oils inhibited hexanal oxidation by over 95% after 40 days at a level of 500 microg/mL in the aldehyde/carboxylic acid assay. Scavenging abilities of the oils for the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical ranged from 39% for angelica seed oil to 90% for jasmine oil at a level of 200 microg/mL.

The greatest inhibitory activity toward malonaldehyde (MA) formation from squalene upon UV-irradiation was obtained from parsley seed oil (inhibitory effect, 67%), followed by rose oil (46%), and celery seed oil (23%) at the level of 500 microg/mL.

The main compounds of oils showing high antioxidant activity were limonene (composition, 74.6%) in celery seed, benzyl acetate (22.9%) in jasmine, alpha-pinene (33.7%) in juniper berry, myristicin (44%) in parsley seed, patchouli alcohol (28.8%) in patchouli, citronellol (34.2%) in rose, and germacrene (19.1%) in ylang-ylang.

One of the most important lessons gained from these healers is that the first rule of good purification is “avoid getting impurities in your body in the first place“!

Merri and I take care in what we eat, drink and especially breathe and put on our skin.  The fastest way for any element good or bad to get into the blood stream is via the lungs and the skin.

This is why I smile at our seminars… when delegates ask about my great cologne… telling me how much they like it, even though…  I have not used cologne for something like 40 years.

Good health care is only available to an increasingly smaller portion of top earners and often really dangerous practices are condoned by health authorities or at the least ignored.

To overcome this problem Merri and I take many steps to improve how we feel each day and hopefully enhance our activity and longevity.

One regular practice on our part is to use essential oils instead of deodorants.

There is a disturbing article about the FDA and deodorants at impact.com entitled “Deodorants, Antiperspirants and Your Health.”   This article says:  The goal of this article is to provide an overview of the health risks that come with the regular use of most deodorants and all antiperspirants.

If you use deodorants or antiperspirants I recommend you read the entire article (linked below).  Here are few key points from it:  Sweat has no odor, the familiar unpleasant odor is caused by bacteria that live on our skin and hair. These bacteria metabolize the proteins and fatty acids from our apocrine sweat, causing body odor.

Deodorants deal with the smell by neutralizing it and by killing the bacteria that metabolize the proteins and fatty acids.

Antiperspirants on the other hand, try to prevent sweating by blocking the pores using aluminum. Without sweat, the bacteria cannot metabolize proteins and fatty acids that cause body odor.

Antiperspirants – The Over-The-Counter Drug

It might be a surprise to learn that the antiperspirant you use daily is in fact an over-the-counter (OTC) drug.  As mentioned, Antiperspirants work by clogging, closing, or blocking the pores with aluminum salts in order to prevent the release of sweat, effectively changing the function of the body. Antiperspirants are considered to be drugs because they affect the physiology of the body.
Because antiperspirants are drugs, they are regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  Consequently, every antiperspirant sold in the US has a Drug Identification Number (DIN), which you can find on the label.  A document called ‘monograph’ states requirements for categories of nonprescription drugs such as antiperspirants.  It defines for example what ingredients may be used and for what intended use.  If the standards of the OTC monograph are met, premarket approval of a potentially new OTC product is not necessary.

Antiperspirants contain many ingredients. However, part II and III of this series will focus on the active ingredient for antiperspirants: Aluminum. Most antiperspirants also contain paraben, an ingredient that is also used in deodorants.

Deodorants

As mentioned, deodorants deal with body odor by neutralizing the smell and by killing the bacteria that metabolize the proteins and fatty acids that occur in sweat.

In the last decade one particular ingredient in deodorants has become controversial: Paraben, a widely used preservative. Part IV will focus on paraben and its health effects.

Deodorants and Antiperspirants are Considered to be Safe

Both antiperspirants and deodorants are considered to be safe by the FDA, the American Cancer Society, the National Cancer Institute and the Mayo Clinic.

However, as you will learn in this series, FDA regulation does not mean that a drug is without danger. Like prescription drugs, the FDA oversees OTC drugs to ensure that they are properly labeled and that their benefits outweigh their risks.

There are many products or ingredients of products that have become controversial in regards to health effects. However, this does not mean that products will be taken off the market until deemed safe. Often, the FDA does not consider the evidence of danger to consumer’s health strong enough to take action.

The FDA will be the main subject of a future article, but if you want to research some of the bad decisions the FDA has made in the past, then Google some examples of product that only got pulled off the shelves when it became too obvious that people were dying due to heart attacks caused by these medications: ‘Vioxx’, ‘Celebrex’ and ‘Bextra’. The conclusion of this debacle according to leading cardiologist Dr. Eric Topol:

Neither of the two major forces in this 5-and-a-half-year affair — neither Merck nor the FDA — fulfilled its responsibilities to the public.

This is also why I have not used deodorants or cologne for decades and use essential oils instead!

99% of Breast Cancer Tissue Contained This Everyday Chemical (NOT Aluminum)

Recent research found higher concentrations of parabens in the upper quadrants of the breast and axillary area, where antiperspirants are usually applied, suggesting they may contribute to the development of breast cancer. One or more paraben esters were detected in 99 percent of the tissue samples collected from mastectomies. In 60 percent of the samples, all five paraben esters were present.

Overall, topical application of personal care products containing parabens appear to be the greatest source of exposure to these estrogen-mimicking chemicals, far surpassing the risk of the aluminum in antiperspirants.

Aluminum chloride—the active ingredient in antiperspirants—has been found to act similarly to the way oncogenes work to provide molecular transformations in cancer cells. Like parabens, aluminum salts also mimic estrogen, and bioaccumulate in breast tissue, which can raise your breast cancer risk.

Despite the fact that parabens are used in such a wide variety of products, their safety is primarily based on a rat study from 1956, as modern toxicology studies are lacking, and not a single study on the chemicals’ carcinogenity follow acceptable regulatory standard carcinogenity study protocols, according to a recent review.

New research examining parabens found in cancerous human breast tissue points the finger at antiperspirants and other cosmetics for increasing your risk of breast cancer.

The research, which is also reviewed in an editorial published in the Journal of Applied Toxicology, looked at where breast tumors were appearing, and determined that higher concentrations of parabens were found in the upper quadrants of the breast and axillary area, where antiperspirants are usually appliedii.

Parabens are chemicals that serve as preservatives in antiperspirants and many cosmetics, as well as sun lotions. Previous studies have shown that all parabens have estrogenic activity in human breast cancer cells.

Another component of antiperspirants, aluminum chloride, has been found to act similarly to the way oncogenes work to provide molecular transformations in cancer cells. According to the authors of the editorial review, the research shows “signals of concern that such compounds are not as safe as previously generally considered, and further research is warranted.” Furthermore:

“The data from this latest study, the most extensive examination of parabens in human breast so far published, confirms previous work and raises a number of questions on the entire parabens, personal care product and human health debate, particularly relating to the source and toxicological significance of the paraben esters.”

Many Deodorants Contain Endocrine Disruptors

Another website lymphomainfo.net  has an article entitled “Just Say “No” to Endocrine Disruptors” Here is an excerpt:   The list is extensive and growing – bisphenol A, phthalates, parabens, PBDE’s (flame retardants), PCB’s, dioxins, atrazine, heptachlor, arsenic, mercury, lead among them. Referred to as “endocrine disruptors“(ED’s), a term describing their documented ability to mimic natural hormones and disrupt normal endocrine system functioning, this term certainly understates the myriad of ways in which these synthetic chemicals compromise our health.

Many of these compounds are lipophilic (stored in fat cells). Because women naturally have more fat cells than men, our bodies store more of these cancer-promoting chemicals than do men’s bodies. These chemicals can then be transferred across the placenta to a growing fetus.

This article (linked below) provides a list of individual steps you can take to reduce your and your family’s exposure to and bodily absorption of ED’s.

One of the steps is: Avoid products with added “fragrance” both in your home and on your body. A truly clean (and safe) home is a home without artificial scents. As a non-ED alternative to scented deodorants, try using a deodorant salt (the only safe deodorant during chemotherapy), complemented with a dab of your favorite essential oil just under your arms.

Lymph nodes are the most important part of the immune system and though they are spread throughout the body, there is concentration. Mostly they are concentrated in the neck, under the arms, and in the groins.

So I do not put chemicals  (Deodorants or Antiperspirants) under my arms in this important and sensitive lymph area… ever.

“These parts of the body are so important to health that my friend Jay Glaser M.D. even suggests avoiding regular soap for cleaning these areas. In his book “Body Renewal – The Lost Art of Self Repair” Jay writes: Use gentle glycerin soap only in the groin and underarms. Otherwise use mung bean flour, barley flour or chickpea flour instead of soap, available in Indian groceries (mung bean flour is usually best, but you can try them all). Keep your flour in a dry container near the shower, moisten it in your fingertips and gently apply it to the areas to be cleansed.”

Hence everyone wanting to know about my (non existent) cologne.

Jay’s advice makes sense.  A medicalnewstoday.com article recently showed how there may even be a link between deodorants and breast cancer. The article begins:  A new study led by the University of Reading in the UK that examined breast tissue samples from 40 women who underwent mastectomies for breast cancer,  found they contained widespread traces of parabens, preservatives commonly used in deodorants, make-up, body lotions, moisturisers and many other cosmetic products. Although the study does not prove that parabens cause or even contribute to the development of breast cancer, it raises questions about their use.

Parabens are just one of the chemicals of concern in deodorants.  According to the Dr. Milker website’s list of toxins, the following can be found in Antiperspirants and deodorants:

* Aluminum: Central nervous system damage and linked to Alzheimers. Found in antiperspirant deodorants.

* Coumarin: Formerly the active ingredient in rat poison. A carcinogenic ingredient used in the manufacturing of deodorants.

* Formaldehyde: Suspected carcinogen and neurotoxin, it may be fatal if swallowed, absorbed through skin, inhaled or swallowed.

* Fragrances (Synthetic): Some perfumes / fragrances contain hundreds of chemicals. Some, such as methylene chloride are carcinogenic. Some cause brain damage or are neurotoxins. Avoid unless you can be sure they are not carcinogenic.

* Phthalates: Proven damage to liver, lungs, kidneys and reproductive system, especially forming testes.

* Propylene Glycol: Kidney damage, liver abnormalities, inhibits skin cell growth, damages cell membranes causing rashes, surface damage and dry skin.

* Propylparaben: Potential breast cancer risk and endocrine disruptor raising concern for impaired fertility or development, and increased risk for certain cancers, itching burning and blistering of skin, gastrointestinal or liver toxicity hazard.

This is why I use essential oils under my arms to eliminate poison instead of adding toxins.

For many years, with the advice of our friend Candace Newman, I have blended my own deodorant… getting the essential oils and organic jojoba oil from Candace and mixing them.

How do I use essential oils?

Essential oils enter the body primarily in three ways—applied to the skin, inhaled, or ingested. Within each of these, there are many different kinds of application methods. For example, you can apply essential oils topically using compresses, sprays, baths, or massaging them into the skin.

Factors That Increase Skin Absorption

Different factors can affect the absorption of essential oils through the skin. If you massage the area first, it will increase circulation to that area, thereby causing an increase in absorption of essential oils. Heat will likewise increase circulation and thus enhance absorption.

Some researchers report that essential oils may be more readily absorbed from skin locations with greater concentrations of sweat glands and hair follicles, such as the genitals, head, soles, palms, and armpits (Battaglia, 2003).

Are Essential Oils Safe?

Most essential oils are safe and free of adverse side effects when used properly. However, as with any substance you are introducing into your body, it is important to use them intelligently. We recommend that you never eat or drink essential oils.
Can essential oils be toxic?

Toxicity rarely occurs with appropriate use of essential oils and is primarily attributed to misuse and accidental ingestion, especially in young children. Essential Oil Safety by Tisserand and Balacs, 1995, is a valuable reference to understanding potential toxicity and lethal dosages. Again, we recommend that you never eat or drink essential oils.

The Nature of Plants and Tiny Molecules

Essential oil chemistry is made up of very tiny molecules.  These molecules are much smaller than the molecules found in fatty oils.

The tiny size is the key that unlocks good health because they easily penetrate cell walls, even the blood-brain barrier.   This allows the essential oil molecules to reach parts of the body like nothing else in a really fast and positive way.

Essential Antioxidants

ORAC stands for “Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity”.   This is a scientific measurement that measures the antioxidant capacity of a food item and or oil.  USDA researchers at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts, developed this laboratory test to measure the oxygen radical absorption capacity of different foods and natural substances.  This is known as the ORAC scale and is one of the most sensitive and reliable methods for measuring antioxidant capacity.

This scale helped the health care community learn about valuable antioxidant foods like Pomegranates that have an ORAC value 3,037 and Blueberries  with an ORAC of 2,400.

Fewer know about the anti oxidant ORAC scale of essential oils.

Rose essential oil for example has an ORAC value of 160,400!

This is more than 50 times the ORAC value of  pomegranates!

Patchouli      ORAC Value  49,400

Here are the concentrated properties of each essential oil in Candace’s rejuvenation Rose Oil Blend.

Geranium essential oil: Geranium is anti bacterial and anti microbial and does not let bacteria or microbes develop. It facilitates blood circulation just below the surface of skin and also helps make distribution of melanin uniform plus promotes cell health and also encourages recycling of dead cell and regeneration of new cells. This helps in the growth of the body cells as well as gametes.

Geranium has an uplifting aroma and helps the body’s systems and functions work properly by influencing endocrinal glands for regulating secretion of various hormones, enzymes, acids and bile etc. and toning up the respiratory system, digestive system, circulatory system, nervous system and excretory system.

Four men and 44 women were split into two groups. One group drank 50 grams of a frozen blueberry drink and the other group drank an equivalent amount of water for eight weeks.

At the end of the eight week study, the group that ingested the blueberry drink had a significant reduction in both, systolic and diastolic blood pressure levels. This group also experienced a significant reduction in oxidized LDL (low density lipoproteins). Known as “the bad cholesterol,” increased LDLs are linked to arterial damage and cardiovascular disease risk.

High blood pressure and high cholesterol, along with extra abdominal fat or obesity and elevated blood sugars, are cardiovascular risk factors. When experienced together, this cluster of symptoms is referred to as Metabolic Syndrome.

This is not news to me as our long time friend and health care provider, Joe Spano, MD has often shared with us the natural health benefits of blueberries.

This is  a recent comment from a reader in the Pacific Northwest:  Gary, Thank you very much for this product.  I have taken it for 2 months, am down 20 lbs of fat and put on 5 or 6 lbs of muscle.  I currently weigh 194lbs on my way down to 178 where I was 2 ½ years ago. A huge health focus by this yatchak was purification… from the inside and out.  He had us walk in mountain mists. The negative ions in the mists attached to free radicals and purified the skin to cleanse us from the inside out.

Most of the counties with declines are in the Deep South, along the Mississippi River, and in Appalachia, as well as in the southern Plains and Texas.

The article went on to say that the people of Appalachia used to be among the longest lived. I can believe it. There is a family cemetery here on our farm. These five headstones show the occupants lived to be 86, 91, 95, 100 and 115!  The 115 year old lived from 1794 to 1909. I  wonder what type of medical insurance she had back here in these hills?

This problem of declining service is growing in more sectors than just American health care.

This growing gap is a concern on many fronts…but means, that in many parts of the Western world, good health care is only available to an increasingly smaller portion of top earners.

                 b-3= More adamantly continued NO ALCOHOL consumption!
             c) Added more fresh veggies & fruits, as many as can be found in BZ (Not many veggies variety esp).

I had been adjusting diet and starting to exercise (Gym= Weights & Biking) 3 months before the tests so who knows if they were even higher before I tested?

The slight dieting and much more exercising alone, evidently, did not change it much!

I have lost about 33 lbs of fat ,and gained 10 pounds of muscle, so I am down 23 lbs, from 244 to 221!

How does Chelation Therapy work?

Sunset on Stress


One way to improve health and increase effectiveness is to reduce stress.

As Merri and I rode though the sunset after our weekend Super Thinking + Spanish course, I was reflecting on how delegates love the relaxation sessions because they reduce stress.

One of the main ways the body eliminates stress is with a good night’s sleep.   Deep rest at night fights stress, maintains weight, and keeps energy high.

The most regenerative sleep occurs between 10 p.m. – 2 a.m.  The pineal gland helps the body sleep better if we pay heed to the sunset.  The pineal gland senses the change in light and secretes melatonin which helps our body to sleep.

If regularly deprived of the regenerative sleep between 10 p.m. – 2 a.m., the body has a much harder time reducing stress.

Exposure to bright light at night reduces melatonin and the body stays awake. Normally one to two hours after sunset, the body gets ready to sleep as melatonin levels rise. By midnight, melatonin levels have peaked and there is a gradual decline in melatonin levels after midnight. If you missed the sunset and the early night’s sleep… even after eight hours you can still feel fatigued and stressed.

Our modern electricity filled lifestyle tends to keep most people up past ten.

An October 24. 2012 USA Today article entitled “Burnout up among employees” by  Sharon Jayson, says:  The slow-to-recover economy is taking a new toll on workers across the USA: Not only are they stressed out from job uncertainties and stagnant pay, the stress has lasted so long that now they’re burned out too, a new survey finds.

“A significant portion of the American workforce is burned out, and my concern is, that’s rising,” says Richard Chaifetz, CEO of ComPsych Corp., a Chicago-based provider of employee assistance programs to more than 17,000 organizations worldwide, covering more than 45 million employees.

ComPsych’s national survey of 1,880 workers, completed earlier this month, finds signs of prolonged stress in attitudes about work priorities, says Chaifetz, a clinical neuropsychologist.

Since last year, the most significant growth in work priorities is no longer accomplishing basic responsibilities or improving their performance, but just showing up. “Being present” was the most important priority cited by 22% of workers — a 47% increase since the survey began in 2003 and a jump of 3 percentage points since last year.

Ecuador’s easy going lifestyle and lower costs of living helps reduce stress a lot.

Another way to reduce stress is by listening to Baroque music.

A study comparing meditation to listening to Barqoue music shows that blood pressure drops and the pulse slows down.  Stress melts away!

The Huge 2020 Risk

Here is a huge risk that could explode in 2020.

I hope I am wrong… but the numbers are clear.

According to Treasurydirect.com, (1) as of December 26, 2020 the total US public debt was 23 trillion and 845 billion dollars.

This is not a theoretical problem for the future.  This is not something that our children and grandchildren will have to deal with.  This is a problem in the here and now for you and me.

Rising interest rates create a massive problem for every American.

Look at how the interest costs alone have risen to over a half trillion dollars a year.

The bad news is that the (US federal debt) is getting bigger….harder to miss.  The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projected in 2010 (the debt then was a bit over 14 trillion) that, under law at that time, debt held by the public would exceed $16 trillion by 2020, reaching nearly 70 percent of GDP.

The $7 Trillion Error.

They sure goofed on that.  Here we are… only in 2020 and debt has shot past 23 trillion.

How could the CBO be so wrong? 

The CBO screwed up because they could never imagine that the Fed would push interest rates so low… and keep them there.  The interest rates are so low that the government has been able to borrow more than imagined and still afford the interest.

For example, US Federal government interest last year amounted to around $573 billion.  Yet in 2008 on debt of only $9 trillion +  the interest that year was $451 billion +.

Interest payments in 2017 were 27% higher than they were in 2008.  Yet the debt is over 250% higher.  

Very low interest rates have helped the government borrow.  Low interest has also helped the US stocks reach all time high prices.

The government will resist raising rates because it will ruin their budget, cause a collapse of the stock markets and destroy the US dollar.

Rising interest rates, will create an almost unimaginable debt crisis.  If government interest doubles it is like the $23+ trillion national debt  rising to 46 trillion!  Unless there are some huge tax increase the interest payments are not sustainable.

Learn how to have more freedom and time, less stress, better health care, extra income, greater safety and profit in your savings despite America’s deficits, debt and currency risk.

Fortunately there are secrets that will allow a few to live much better, free of debt and worry despite the decline in the dollar’s purchasing power.   My wife, Merri and I, have traveled, lived, worked and invested around the world for nearly 50 years to gain this information.

Let me share the basics of this data and how we can be of help through 2020.

The first fact behind this secret is that things are really good in the western world.  Despite many problems, we are surrounded by more abundance and greater opportunity than almost anyone has ever enjoyed, anywhere, ever.   To enjoy a fair share of this wealth, all we have to do is understand human nature and learn how to invest in the new economy, as it changes and becomes new, again and again.

Merri and I have made seven huge transitions in the 50 years.  Each has allowed us to always stay ahead of losses that the majority of Americans suffer.  We are in another transition right now and want to share why and what to do so you can stay ahead and live a richer, independent life through 2020 and beyond.

A falling US dollar is one of the greatest risks we have to our independence, safety, health, and wealth, but also brings a window of huge profit as I explain below.   Though the greenback has been strong for a number of years, its strength is in serious jeopardy.  The growing federal deficits increase the national debt and this with rising interest rates propels a growing debt service.

While the Dow Jones Industrial Average passed a record high, the U.S. national debt passed the $20 trillion mark.

The problem is that the Dow will come back down.  National debt will not fall.

The double shock of money fleeing Wall Street and US debt skyrocketing, will destroy the purchasing power of the greenback.

Go to the store even now.  Statistics say inflation is low, but buy some bread or, heaven forbid, some fresh vegetables like peppers or fruit.   Look at the cost of your prescription or hospital bills.  Do something simple like have your car serviced at an auto dealer.  Look at the dollars you spend and you’ll see what I mean.

The loss of the dollar’s purchasing power erodes our independence, our freedom and our savings and wealth as well. 

At the same time, low interest rates by big banks and higher health care costs soak up the ever diminishing income and savings we have left.  According to a Gallup poll, the most unpopular three institutions in America are big corporations & Wall Street banks, HMOs and Congress.

Yet there is little we can do because these institutions are in control.

Over the last 50 years the average income for 90 percent of the American population fell.  Our health system is restricted by a Kafka-esque maze of legislation and insurance regulations that delay, frustrate, and thwart attempts by patients and doctors from proper medical care.  Big banks and corporations restrict our freedom of choice.  The business customer relationships are no longer transactions between free equals.

Banks can trap us in indebtedness at every age from student loans to mortgages to health care costs.  They pay almost nothing on our savings.  They hide unexpected fees and payments in complex and unreadable documents.  Banks and big corporations routinely conceal vital information in small print and then cheat.  Weak regulations and lax enforcement leave consumers with few ways to fight back.  Many of these businesses ranging from cable TV to phone and internet service to health insurance have virtual monopolies that along with deceptive marketing destroys any form of free market.

These same companies control the credit-scoring agencies so if  we don’t pay unfair fees, our credit scores will plunge and we could lose the ability to borrow money, rent an apartment, even to get a job.  Many consumers are forced to accept “arbitration clauses” in lieu of  legal rights.  The alternative is to lose banking, power, and communication services.

Big business has also usurped our privacy.  Internet companies sell our personal data.  Personal information is pulled from WiFi and iPhones track and store our movements.  The government can access this information, sometimes without subpoenas.  There’s a lot that we don’t know, often withheld under the guise of “National Security.”

The glow on Western democratic capitalism has dimmed… or so it seems.  The US, leading the way, is still a superpower with economic, innovation and military might, but the institutions that should serve the people have become flawed or broken.

America’s infrastructure is in shambles.  The nation’s bridges are crumbling, many water systems are filled with toxins, yet instead of spending more to fix this, we build more prisons.  The 2.2 million people currently in  jail is a 500 percent increase over the past thirty years.  60% of the inmates belong to ethnic groups.  Not just non-white ethnic groups are suffering.  Annual death rates are falling for every group except for middle-aged white Americans.  Death rates are rising among this group driven by an epidemic of suicides and afflictions stemming from substance abuse, alcoholic liver disease and overdoses of heroin and prescription opioids.

America’s middle class is shrinking.  Nearly  half of America’s income goes to upper-income households now.  In 1970 only 29 percent went to this group.  How can we regain our freedom, our happiness and our well being in such a world?

What can we do?

Gain a better, freer life is to combine better health, higher income and greater savings for a happier, more resilient lifestyle.

This seven part Water Investing Report was written October 2012.  We’ll send a notice when the 2014 update is ready.

We work and investing with water in three ways.

First, we invest in and write often about investing in water.   Second, we often review and share ideas about the energy that water carries.   Third, we look at ways that water can contribute to natural health.

Here is a natural health tip that uses water.

While swimming, the yatchak shared two lessons about natural health.

Lesson #1: Men dress from the bottom up. Women dress from the top down.  This has something to do with the way men and women process frequency and energy, but honestly I still do not really feel like I have figured this one out.  I just do it. If you have learned something relating to this discipline… please share!

Lesson #2: Immerse in cold water each morning and let the water evaporate on the skin.    The evaporation process helps remove negative ions (free radicals) from the body via the skin.  This is a great daily purification.

When back in the US at our farm I started getting in the creek each morning.  It was kinda spooky in the winter when it was dark…  plus cold!

that I was happy to exit quickly and now am happier leaving this discipline to a cold shower or jumping into our pool, creek or lake when there is no ice.

This works best after exercise.  The body is oxygenated and the cold water causes the blood to rush to the organs giving them a daily oxygen bath.

Water is life and grows in importance to mankind and all living things in numerous ways.  Good water can help us have natural good health as well as investing opportunity and a way to share good frequencies as well.

The Fed has let the dollar lose most of its strength plus has allowed interest rates to fall so low, that safe investments cannot keep pace with the drop in purchasing power.

Many investors have forgotten about the risk of a falling dollar because the greenback has been strong for the past five years.  This temporary dollar strength came after the great recession of 2009 just as there was temporary dollar strength after the great recession of the 1980s.  Then about six years after the recession, an agreement was made by major governments to weaken the dollar.

There was a severe global economic recession affecting much of the developed world in the late 1970s and early 1980s.  The United States and Japan exited the recession relatively early, but high unemployment would continue to affect Europe and the UK through to at least 1985.  As a consequence between 1980 and 1985, the US dollar had appreciated by about 50% against the Japanese yen, Deutsche mark, French franc and British pound, the currencies of the next four biggest economies at the time. Then the governments reached an agreement and exchange rate values of the dollar versus the yen declined by 51% from 1985 to 1987.

Now the world is again in the same place.  The recession is over.  Europe is a bit behind in recovery and the dollar is higher than before the recession.

There is no reason for the greenback to be  strong.

The agreement in 1985 was called the Plaza Accord.   Over just two years the greenback dropped nearly 50% versus other major currencies.  The next accord will generate great profits for those who know what to do while it ruins the purchasing power of dollar back investments.

The strong US dollar and low interest rates have created one of the biggest stock and multi currency breakout opportunities in history.  Learn how to create a plan to profit from multi currency shifts ahead.

One reason for the potential gains is that stock markets and currency values are cyclical.  Due to low interest rates created by the 2009 economic downturn, the US and a few other equity markets have risen to some of their highest prices, ever.  These markets offer very poor value now.  The steep valuation creates incredible profit potential but also hides some enormous risks.  Learn how to develop an investing strategy based of earnings, cash flows, dividends and book values to increase potential for profit and reduce the risks.

When fear holds back a a fundamentally rising value, rising profit potential grows.  Values increase as prices stagnate.  Then markets break free and rocket upwards creating wealth, prosperity and growth.

Bull and bear cycles are based on cycles of human interaction, war, technology and productivity.  Economic downturns create war.

Here is the war stock cycle.  Military struggles (like the Civil War, WWI, WWII and the Cold War: WWIII) super charge inventiveness that creates new forms of productivity…the steam engine, the internal combustion engine,  production line processes, jet engines, TV, farming techniques, plastics, telephone, computer and lastly during the Cold War, the internet.  The military technology shifts to domestic use.  A boom is created that leads to excess.  Excess leads to correction. Correction creates an economic downturn and again to war.

This chart based on a 45 year portfolio study shows that holding a diversified good value portfolio (based on a  good value strategy) for 13 month’s time, increases the probability of outperformance to 70%.  However those who can hold the portfolio for five years gain a 88% probability of beating the bellwether in the market and after ten years the probability increases to 97.5%.

Time is your friend when you use a good value strategy.  The longer you can hold onto a well balanced good value portfolio, the better the odds of outstanding success.

Learn how much leverage to use.  Leverage is like medicine, the key is dose.  Buffett leverages his portfolio at a ratio of approximately 1.6 to 1.  This rate of expansion by the way is called the “Golden Ratio”.  It is a mathematical formula that controls the growth of most natural things; trees, the shape of leaves, the spiral of shells, as well as the way economies and societies grow.

Seasonal Natural Health Tips


Here are two seasonal tips for natural health.

Autumn is here.  We feel it early here in the mountains.

The wild turkey poults who have been parading across our front lawn since spring are as big as the three watchful hens.

These time of seasonal shifts are good for nutritional health tips.

The autumnal health tip  is clean out the summer heat.  We all know about spring cleanings… but autumnal cleansing is not as known.

Vedic and Shamanic nutritional health sciences are based around the body being a balance of air, fire and water.  All food is classified as air, fire or water pacifying or aggravating.

All seasons are also classified as an air, fire or water season.  Summer not surprisingly is a fire season.  autumn winter the air season and Spring water.  The basic health tip is to eat foods that balance the seasons.  In summer (fire season) eat foods that pacify fire.  In autumn (air season) eat foods that pacify air.  In Spring (water season) eat foods that pacify water. More on this in a moment.

First let’s look at the idea of the autumnal cleansing.  During the summer it is easy… even likely…. especially in the aggressive Western fired up societies to accumulate too much heat in the system during summer.

This summer has been especially hot and dry for many parts of the USA which aggravates the aggravation.

Now is a good time to get rid of some of this fire and I have learned two good ways to do this… one from an Ecuador shaman and one from Indian healers.

Let’s start with the shaman because I like his method best… by far.

This is a great way to reduce excess summer heat from the body and that can also make you look five years younger at the same time.

Eat watermelon.

Natural health comes from a balance between three physical elements, motion (air), material (water) and digestion (fire).

Reducing fire especially in the summer is beneficial for health because fire rules digestion and when out of balance we do not digest food or any information correctly.

However, fire also rules beauty because fire imbalances are reduced by the body through the skin. Too much fire creates rashes, acne, blemishes, poor skin luster, dull hair and much more.The three fire reducing tricks below not only enhance health, but also help clear your skin and make it glow. The first trick is to eat watermelon… lots of it at one time (and with nothing else) and fresh!

Watermelon is a cleanser.

Eat a whole, big one if you can.

This cleansing works at the beginning of each season as the flushing action removes excessive fire, water and air.

The melon must be fresh, whole and cut within 20 minutes. Watermelon is a sponge that absorbs and flushes free radicals from the system. If you let the melon sit after cutting, it oxidizes and loses its cleansing capacity. Also, it can become a free radical itself.

The rule is “Eat it alone or leave it alone”.

Make the melon your entire meal and eat nothing for three to four hours before and after. Sound crazy? I thought so but tried it after watching a Shaman prescribe it for a woman suffering a severe rash (a summer fire imbalance). I felt so good that I now make this a regular habit during the summer…and thoroughly enjoy it!

The second tip is a castor oil vereshna.

One health practice that permeates every healing discipline we have studied from the Andeans, Amazonians, Tibetans and Indians, is that all have one form of cleansing or another. Castor oil is an ancient cleanser. This is one of the most horrible tasting, but most powerful digestive tract cleansings we have experienced and regularly use. This is an excellent tonic everyone should consider.

In Ayurved, the taking of castor oil on an empty stomach is called a virechana.

Many whom I have shared this natural awakenings tip with have told me tales of how their mom or grandmother used to make them take this when they were ill.  A virechana does not have to wait for a health imbalance to begin. This technique can correct imbalances. To take a virechana, eat a light lunch, skip dinner or have a small snack and before going to bed to take the caster oil. I take (at 150 pounds) six teaspoons. Merri at 115 pounds takes four, but you may wish to start first time with less (one or so).

I take mine mixed in a bit of orange or lemon juice and try to just slug it down. Ugh! It is also easy to take a lemon and sink your teeth into it and soon as it is down. This helps. You may wish to begin on the lighter side rather than heavier and don’t do until you have a night when you do not have to sleep through. Chances are (though not always) you will be up at least once in the night.

A normal awakening after this cleansing leaves us feeling natural, much lighter and brighter, full of energy. Yet sometimes we awake afterwards feeling very dull and loggy. We often try to take this on a night when the next day we can have an easy one. The day after the virechana we always eat very lightly, just juices or light easy to digest food. Always the next day we feel natural and wonderfully great!

Another help I find in this cleansing is they reduce my hunger. As a former fatty (I used to weigh 220 pounds), my weight seems to run away with me if I am not careful, so this has become a great weight control device for me.

The best castor oil to use is organic cold-pressed castor oil normally available in health food stores.

There is a second aspect that Edgar Cayce attributed to castor oil. He suggested that castor oil has a vibrational quality that helps harmonize and promote healing within body cells.

The article says:  The parents and two brothers of Silvia Deyanira Melendez, 24, are all in therapy after losing their daughter and sister to COVID-19 on March 28.  She weighed more than 300 pounds with a body mass index of 60, double the BMI considered obese. This most likely contributed heavily to her Type 2 diabetes, hypertension and a heart condition that required open-heart surgery two years ago.

The chronic conditions that increase the risk of serious illness and death of COVID-19 are now well known: diabetes, heart disease, hypertension and being older than 65. Obesity is less well known or understood. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention groups “severe obesity,” defined as having a BMI of 40 or higher, with the other known “risk factors for serious illness” for COVID-19.

A growing number of studies and data on COVID-19 deaths confirm the link. The extra weight on people in the 40-plus BMI range who contract COVID-19 increases the chance they will require hospitalization, most likely in the intensive care unit. It also hampers the ability of physicians to treat them, especially with ventilators, doctors say.

Body fat complicates many health problems.   For example more than 100 studies have found that physical activity can lower cancer risk and even help cure cancer.  Fortunately researchers asked why and one answer became clear. Body fat.

Studies showed that reduced body fat creates  a 25% lower chance of developing cancer.

Fortunately there is a little known way to reduce body fat that does not even require exercise.? I’ll share more on this secret in a moment.

First, body fat, COVID-19 and cancer? Let’s ask why?

Part of the answer is toxicity.

Healthy bodies naturally and regularly remove water-soluble toxins from the body. Our blood and kidneys flush them away.

Fat-soluble toxins such as metals, pesticides, preservatives, other pollutants are harder to flush out of the system. Fat-soluble toxins must become water-soluble before the body can get rid of them. The liver can do this conversion (bile emulsifies fat-souble toxins into water-soluble). This process requires healthy digestive and detox pathways. When they become imbalanced, fat-soluble toxins are stored in fat cells and brain cells instead. These toxins can remain for decades and create health problems.

The fat stored toxins cause oxidation (free radical damage) and degeneration as well as mutation. Toxins in the fatty tissue of the brain become neurotoxins that can cause cognitive problems and a host of mental and brain imbalances.

A reader sent me a note this last week in reply to our recipe for Thermos Quinoa Kitchari.

Hello Gary,  I was completely floored to see your quinoa khichari recipe. Being of India background, I recognize it as an Indian staple – it is also
referred to as “khichdi” as you probably know. Out of curiosity, where and how did you come upon it? We make quinoa khichdi regularly and
love it!

My reply can help clarify ways to connect dots for better natural health.

I wrote:  We have lived and worked with Indian pundits, vidyas, and Ecuador yatchaks and shamans for many years.  Plus we have reviewed what we learned with medical doctors, chiropractors, biochemists and scientists to connect dots.

We have such close contacts with India that our foundation financed the initial phases of a yagya center on the Ganges.  We have studied the relationships of the wisdoms of India and the Andes for decades. Sanskrit is the root of the Andean indigenous language.

We combine what we see hear and feel from these studies and adapt our own ideas to Western living.

For example India’s vegetarian diet has a huge problem with diabetes.   The Andean nutritional sciences are also vegetarian but are focused more on keeping the fast burning carbs down and protein up… so we gained from this and swapped rice for quinoa.

The root of India’s and the Andean diets are similar. We have combined wisdom from both to make what we hope is something more usable in the current circumstances of day to day living.

Longevity Secret

Here is a longevity secret.

Merri and I lived and worked with this Ecuador Yatchak for seven years This photo was taken after a purification ceremony at a sacred spring.

A huge health focus by this yatchak was purification… from the inside and out.  He had us walk in mountain mists. The negative ions in the mists attached to free radicals and purified the skin to cleanse us from the inside out.

Another purification was of our blood. Herbs… minerals and a low calcium diet.  There was almost no dairy served.

Since it is difficult for most of us to eat cleansing food in the West, this message looks at a longevity alternative and begins by showing  how and why, in the 1960’s, due to strict OSHA regulations, the government curtailed a simple (and incredibly low cost) amino acid that can help improve cardiovascular systems, increase memory, improve vision, enhance vitality, expand energy and extend lifespan.

The article went on to say that the people of Appalachia used to be among the longest lived. I can believe it. There is a family cemetery here on our farm. These five headstones show the occupants lived to be 86, 91, 95, 100 and 115!  The 115 year old lived from 1794 to 1909. I  wonder what type of medical insurance she had back here in these hills?

                 b-3= More adamantly continued NO ALCOHOL consumption!
             c) Added more fresh veggies & fruits, as many as can be found in BZ (Not many veggies variety esp).

I had been adjusting diet and starting to exercise (Gym= Weights & Biking) 3 months before the tests so who knows if they were even higher before I tested?

The slight dieting and much more exercising alone, evidently, did not change it much!

I have lost about 33 lbs of fat ,and gained 10 pounds of muscle, so I am down 23 lbs, from 244 to 221!

I am certain that the delegates learn as much from each other as they do from the course… or even more.

There is such an interesting blend of people… Doctors, Dentists, Lawyers, Chiropractors, Business people, Housewives and Househusbands to name a few.  One thing most have in common beyond their desire to write and to sell their writing is that they seem to be interested in wellness and natural health.

The Western medical model is slipping and hospitals are becoming scary… cost wise and more.

For example an August 16, 2012 USA Today article entitled “Hospital bug twice as deadly as feared” by Peter Eisler says:   Just days after doctors successfully removed a tumor from Bailey Quishenberry’s brain, the 14-year-old was spiraling downhill, delirious and writhing in pain from an entirely new menace.

Her abdomen swollen 10 times its normal size and her fever skyrocketing, Bailey wished she could die just to escape the agony.

Bailey had contracted a potentially fatal infection called Clostridium difficile, or C. diff, that ravages the intestines. The bacterium preys on people in hospitals, nursing homes and other medical facilities.

A USA Today investigation shows that C. diff is far more prevalent than federal reports suggest. The bacterium is linked in hospital records to 30,000 deaths a year — about twice federal estimates and rivaling the 32,000 killed in traffic accidents. It strikes about a half-million Americans a year.

Yet despite a decade of rising C.diff rates, health-care providers and the government agencies that oversee them have been slow to adopt strategies to reduce the infections, resulting in tens of thousands of deaths and illnesses that could have been prevented, the investigation shows.

“People are dying needlessly,” said Christian John Lillis, a New Yorker who lost his 56-year-old mother, Peggy, to the infection two years ago. “It’s outrageous.”
Indeed, while the medical community has cut rates for virtually all other health-care infections in recent years, C. diff hovers at all-time highs.

Startling numbers

To assess the C. diff epidemic, USA Today conducted dozens of interviews and reviewed an array of state and federal data, government studies and academic papers. The reporting revealed:

Deaths and illnesses are much higher than reports have shown. In March, the CDC said the infection kills 14,000 people a year. But that is based on death certificates, which often don’t list the infection when patients die of complications.

Hospital-billing data collected by the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality show that 9 percent of C.diff-related hospitalizations end in death — nearly five times the rate for other hospital stays. That adds up to 30,000 fatalities among the 347,000 C. diff hospitalizations in 2010.

This is quite a thought… that this one bacteria is taking as many lives in the USA each year as car accidents.

Part of prosperity in the era ahead is to be able to earn on your own… such as through writing.  Another part of that prosperity will be to stay out of hospitals!

There is something New and Simple about Treating Arthritis

Arthritis is a debilitating disease affecting millions of people and costing us billions of dollars.  Arthritis can be the result of some type
of autoimmune disease such as Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriatic arthritis and Systemic Lupus Eryethematosis, to name the main ones.  But the most
common type of arthritis, causing crippling pain and disability is largely preventable.  That would be Osteoarthritis (OA), also know as Degenerative
Arthritis.

OA is running rampant in our population. 13.9% of adults 25 years and older have some sort of OA.  More than a third of people 65 and older have
it. That is over 12,400,000 people. In 1997 there were 409,000 hospitalizations because of OA and 7.1 million clinic visits. It is the
major cause for hip and knee replacement surgeries.  In fact, in 1997 the cost for hip and knee replacement surgeries from OA was 7.9 billion
dollars. It was estimated that every year, businesses lose between 3.4 and 13.2 billion dollars because of days missed at work due to OA.  This is
just in the USA.

Obviously, obese patients will suffer more than non obese people.  Women on average, suffer from OA more than men.  And as you would expect, the
older you get, the more likely you will develop OA.

The main treatments for arthritis, including anti-inflammatory drugs, heat and cold therapy, joint protection and physiotherapy treatment, do not
work well.  The problem is none of these therapies effectively and safely target the pro-inflammatory  factors behind OA.  Glucosamine and
Chondroitin are in every concoction labeled a miracle arthritis drug.  You see them on info-mercials one right after the other.  They may have
different names, but they all have the same ingredient, Glucosamine and Chondroitin.  These two substances, however, have both shown to be
effective over the long term, in relief of arthritic pain and can help protect the cartilage from further damage.  Some studies have shown some
restoration of cartilage as well, although there have been some conflicting studies about actual cartilage regeneration. But joints need
more than structural repair, they need something that will slow or stop the inflammatory process that is constantly attacking and destroying
cartilage in our joints.

Fish oils with Omega-3’s EPA and DHA offer exceptional anti-inflammatory protection.   It was shown that adding these Omega-3’s with glucosamine
reduced arthritic pain better than glucosamine alone. The fish oil Omega-3’s suppress circulating cytokines that cause cardiovascular disease
and it’s is this affect believed to aid in reducing inflammation in the joint.

Here is the biggy.  Krill, a tiny shrimp like crustacean, also has Omega-3’s, but Krill Omega-3’s work better on the joint than fish oil.  In
an article from Life Extension Magazine, “Krill Oil Optimizes Multi-modality Arthritis Control”, they quoted both animal and human
studies showing the benefit of Krill oil in suppressing the infiltration of inflammatory cells into the joint. In the human study, one group of
people took 300 mg of Krill oil per day while the other group received placebo. They measured C-reactive protein, (a measure of inflammation) and
used WOMAC arthritis scores (WOMAC score accesses the pain and stiffness in arthritis patients).  After 30 days, C-reactive protein dropped 31% in
the group taking Krill while the group taking placebo, the C-reactive protein rose 32%. The WOMAC scores dropped significantly on all three parameters; pain, stiffness and functional impairment, in the Krill group with no significant change in the placebo group.  These improvements in the Krill group were not temporary but sustained with continued relief experienced at each time point in the study.

Conventional medicine has not been very good at relieving arthritis pain, nor slowing the progression.  Possibly by simply adding 300 mg Krill oil
to other supplements commonly taken such as Glucosamine and Chondroitin, we will be able to achieve better arthritic pain relief, and maybe stop
the progression in it’s tracks. These supplements are inexpensive and extremely safe.  They are easily located in many drug stores or health
stores such as GNC and Vitamin Shop. No need for prescriptions or frequent doctor visits.  Remember though, don’t use Krill oil as a supplement to
the fish oils.  They both have Omega-3’s, but they work in different ways. Fish oil suppresses certain types of circulation cytokins; (molecules
that induce inflammation) and therefore help reduce the inflammatory reactions that cause cardiovascular disease.  They also cause platelets to
be less sticky so small clots are less likely to form and block arteries, causing stroke and heart attacks.  They have a calming affect on the brain
as well.   Krill oil also causes suppression of inflammation, but it has a more focal affect in the joints.  Therefore, to help prevent
cardiovascular disease and osteoarthritis, please take supplements of both fish oil and krill oil.

Krill oil will no doubt help people with other forms of arthritis as well, such as Rheumatoid arthritis or Lupus.  But I would suggest those patients
consult with their doctors, as they are likely already on several medications.

Longevity Secret

Here is a longevity secret.

This is  a recent comment from a reader in the Pacific Northwest:  Gary, Thank you very much for this product.  I have taken it for 2 months, am down 20 lbs of fat and put on 5 or 6 lbs of muscle.  I currently weigh 194lbs on my way down to 178 where I was 2 ½ years ago. Hemaglobin count up appreciably (red blood cells), which is real good too!

And Blood Pressure at the time was 130/80, a bit high, now 107/70= Perfect said the doc!

Man I feel a whole lot better too.

How did I do it?

1) Exercise greatly intensified & consistent= 3-5 days a week in gym weight-lifting, plus biking-walking-swimming.

2) Diet= a) Dropped fatty meats (ie. Bacon/Pork chops etc).
             b) “NO WHITES ALLOWED” DIET= No white Sugar, Flour or Starch (yes= ouch!).
                 b-1= Cut non-white and white GLUTENS (mostly Gluten-free) too!
                 b-2= Mucho water, and only purely natural fruit juices… fresh squeezed & ground (minimized frequency).
                 b-3= More adamantly continued NO ALCOHOL consumption!
             c) Added more fresh veggies & fruits, as many as can be found in BZ (Not many veggies variety esp).

I had been adjusting diet and starting to exercise (Gym= Weights & Biking) 3 months before the tests so who knows if they were even higher before I tested?

The slight dieting and much more exercising alone, evidently, did not change it much!

I have lost about 33 lbs of fat ,and gained 10 pounds of muscle, so I am down 23 lbs, from 244 to 221!

Lost some love-handle & gut inches ! I am going for under 200, over the next few months,where I haven’t been for about almost 20 years!

I have had high cholesterol and triglycerides, since I was in my mid to late 30’s (now 58),and always did diet and exercise changes to adjust them down a bit, but never were they anywhere near this “before drastic action” high  before, nor have they ever been this low after the 2nd test and resultant phenomenal improvements! How does Chelation Therapy work?
