Ecuador Health Food

Ecuador’s food is health food… compared to food in the US… even Ecuador’s fast food is pretty good.

Many mistakenly think that Ecuador food is something like Mexican food. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have never seen a taco or antijito in Ecuador, although they are available in the big cities in chains.

Ecuadorian food is European if anything but blended nicely with Andean traditions… so it comes out darn healthy.

While in Cotacachi last week we visited with many friends and readers who have moved to Ecuador and heard a similar refrain… “I lost 22 pounds without even trying”. One delegate who has moved to Cotacachi about six months ago reported losing 38 pounds.

We visited our well known international friends, Dan Presher and Suzan Haskins, at their new Cotacachi condo.

ecuador-food

They were both looking so good, I asked their secret.  “We just lost weight without trying” was their reply.

Plus many report that shedding stress helps as well…. along with walking in the fresh mountain air.

Ecuador food is fresh.  On Ecuador’s coast, you can get seafood right from the fishing boats when they come in, like these fresh food shoppers at San Clemente .

Boats like this one just outside the hotel where we have our condos are dotted along the coast.

fishing-boat-1

The fishermen handle the boats through the surf.

Ecuador-fishermen-3

Then they head out to sea!

Merri and I meet the fishermen when they return with shrimp and fish and some langostinos.  The shrimp are large enough that two provided a meal!

The Humboldt Current creates one of the world’s most productive nutrient-rich waters that rise along the coast. This is a perfect condition for abundant plankton which leads to an eco region that teems with huge schools of small fish like anchovies and sardines.

The cool waters of the Humboldt Current provide a constant supply of food for big fish such as Dorado (coryphaena hippurus – also called dolphinfish), barracuda (sphyraena indiastes), blue and black marlin, yellow-finned and long-finned tuna (thunnus albacares, thunnus alalunga), snook and many other species.

Here I am in San Vicente with dorado just north of Manta and adjoining San Clemente.

Four world-record Pacific bigeye tuna (similar to yellow fin tuna) catches come from Ecuador ranging in size from 236 pounds  to 375-pounds.

Sea food includes Stripped Marlin, Tuna, Grouper, Wahoo and Corvina (seabass).

Trout is in the rivers and lakes of the Andes like this high country lake . ecuador-trout-site

ecuador-trout-fisherman-10

Trout grow well in the Andean Highlands above 7,000 feet, with average water and air temperature virtually constant year-round. The trout feed on scuds, leeches, small fish and various bugs.

Even the seafood in the Andes is fresh. Here is the Ibarra fish market were they bring the fish in overnight.

ecuador-food

Prices are really low… mostly about a dollar a pound.

Plus there is Quinoa, a full protein grain of the Andes. We make our cake and bread gluten free and packed with protein at Meson de las Flores.  Here is one of our chef’s quinoa cakes with a fresh coconut pudding.

ecuador-food

There are no high fat, fast food franchises in the area. This is as close to a fast food as you’ll get in Cotacachi.

Much better than a Big Mac!…corn roasted on a grill.

Fruit is vine picked ripe and really cheap… every type… tropical and northern… apples, blackberries, cherries, strawberries and pears.

For those interested in healthier nutrition, here are three nutritional tips sent to us by our friend Blaine Watson.

A diet high in turmeric may help reduce weight gain by suppressing the growth of new fat tissue, according to a study conducted by researchers from Tufts University and published in the Journal of Nutrition. The study was funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and a grant from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

“Weight gain is the result of the growth and expansion of fat tissue, which cannot happen unless new blood vessels form, a process known as angiogenesis,” senior author Mohsen Meydani said. “Based on our data, curcumin appears to suppress angiogenic activity in the fat tissue of mice fed high fat diets.”Curcumin is an antioxidant chemical in the polyphenol family that naturally occurs in turmeric. In contrast to some phytochemicals, it is easily absorbed by the body.

Researchers fed two groups of mice identical high-fat diets, supplementing the diets of the half the mice with 500 milligrams of curcumin per kilogram of body weight per day. They found that mice in the curcumin group had significantly lower blood cholesterol and significantly less microvessel density in fat tissue than the mice in the control group, implying less blood vessel growth and thus less overall growth of fat tissue. The livers of mice in the curcumin group also contained significantly less fat than those of the mice in the control group.

“In general, angiogenesis and an accumulation of lipids in fat cells contribute to fat tissue growth,” Meydani said. The researcher also noted that “curcumin appeared to be responsible for total lower body fat in the group that received supplementation.”In a similar study conducted on cells rather than animals, the researchers also found curcumin to suppress angiogenesis. The chemical also appeared to suppress the expression of two genes linked to angiogenesis in both the mouse and cell experiments.

I wanted to remind everyone  that turmeric is to be used with some degree of awareness. We never eat it raw. It must be cooked in our food. Capsules are therefore not an option.  We use only organic turmeric. The regular turmeric you buy for example in an Indian store is heavily adulterated with chalk and talcum powder and food coloring.

We also use turmeric sparingly. It is highly highly effective in purifying the liver. The North American/Western diet and lifestyle is highly toxic with many many sources of impurities which are metabolized and stored in the liver. When turmeric is introduced to the diet these toxins/impurities are squeezed from the liver (this would be a contributing factor to weight loss) and this is a good thing but not if it is overwhelming to the body. Detox crisis is a real possibility.

A gentle and universal curry for western palates would be something like:

3 parts powdered coriander
3 parts powdered fennel
1-2 parts powdered cumin
1-2 parts turmeric

International Investing Light

There may be international investing light at the end of the tunnel… soon… but we must take care for now.

See below how this can create income in Ecuador.  Hand dyed, all natural yarn ready for beautiful sweaters.

Ecuador-tours

We must take care because before we really see the international economic light, I expect one more downturn this autumn… one that will break the economic backs of many who have been just barely hanging on.

Markets and economies rise and fall in spurts and provide large influxes of  profit that create really bad fiscal and lifestyle habits that are destructive when dangerous economic ex-spurts (recessions) come long. See more about this here

The first dangerous time is when markets rise so much for so long that the general population becomes convinced that “the good life’ will last forever.   Then the second dangerous times comes in the form of a market crash.

The crash destroys many lives and finances.  Then after a year or so the markets rally on news of an economic recovery.  There is a fairly decent broad pickup, led by the consumers, government stimulation,  tax cuts and low interest-rates.   This is a knee-jerk stock market reaction, at the first sign of a healthy economy.  The stock market kicks up 10% at minimum, 30% at best. These rallies are not based on reality though. They are usually short lived.

This short term bear rally spurt is followed by another severe ex-spurt (bear market) which we should expect now.

Here are some tips to help survive such dangerous times:

First recognize that tight economies are best for making money. For example Marc Andreessen co founder of Netscape started Loudcloud, an Internet infrastructure company in a terrible recession  because there was less competition, easier access to good labor. Both businesses and employees are more realistic in tough times.

Tough times can be good because they force us to do what we should already have been doing. Human nature being what it is, we get fat when the times turn easy and seem good. Here are a few tips we should always heed, but sometimes can survive ignoring when economies boom. If we ignore them now, it is at our peril.

#1: Look for every way you can to trim expenses.

#2: Do not be inflexible or proud. Not long ago a seminar delegate told me about a friend who had risen from a zero net worth to having an Internet portfolio worth $300 million. “Then,” the delegate said, “he lost it all when the bubble burst. He went right back to where he started.” That was not quite right. That investor did not go back to where he started. He most likely acquired bad habits when he thought he was worth $300 million! Unless he shed these habits when he went broke they will make it harder for him to succeed again! In good times, we may think we deserve a certain way of life or that some things are inalienable rights. Really our only economic right it to spend a little less (maybe 90%) than we earn.

#3: Always save. No matter how tough the times, always try to save at least 10% of your income. Those who do this almost never run into economic trouble.

#4: Look harder for the silver lining. There are more in bad times than good. An old British saying is “where there is muck there is brass.”  Business is solving problems and difficult times create problems. Look for ways that you (or your investments) can help others squeeze through tight times.

#5: Be positive. One of the greatest risks in recession is a can’t win attitude. If the economy falls drastically (say 30%), you still only have to be in the top 70% to get by. The entire history of modern humanity has been one of long term growth chopped by short term recessions. Current conditions are nothing new.

#6: Remain true to your economic plan. Use three phase investing as described many times in our messages. Do not panic and stick by your investments (assuming they were made intelligently to begin). This will increase your odds of success and help you with step seven.

#7: Maintain perspective.  A USA Today article “American Workers Rethink Priorities” pointed out that many workers are taking time to rethink their grueling schedules or about pursuing work that might pay less but is more meaningful. We live in the richest, most incredible era that mankind has ever known. Our poorest have more than the richest of just centuries ago. Yet this can be hard to remember when caught in the day-to-day rush of the material rat race. Inspired investing is doing what we love and figuring out how to make money from it. We increase our odds of success and enjoy what we are doing more. When times are tough and the economy slows, this perspective can give us time to sit back for at least a few moments and ask, “What do I really want to do with the rest of my life?”

The answer is the most important asset you will ever receive.

Until next message, good global business and investing!

Last Chance Essential Oils

We sadly received the note below about last chance essential oils from our friends John and Candace Newman.

Candace spent many years traveling with us and the yatchaks in Ecuador.

Merri and I always use Candace’s oils because she gained so much wisdom on these trips and through her lifetime global studies.

So we were saddened to read this note: Gary & Merri, our oil sales will close October 15, 2009.

After 18 years, the decision to stop selling our Aromatherapy oil products has not been made lightly.  After much evaluation & contemplation, we believe it is the right thing to do. On October 15th, the retail and wholesale shopping carts will close. Our oils & formulas are 10% off from now until October 15th … or until the supply runs out.

We know many of you use our oils & formulas daily. This discount helps you stock up on the ones you love, and is our “early” Christmas and Holiday Sale we normally run in November.  With proper care our products last well over a year.

See August’s newsletter about proper care.

I’m continuing my free monthly Newsletter to keep you informed of classes, education and company changes; the subscription to my Aromatherapy Guides for those who want continuing education; Consultations and Treatments; and more Classes. My Classes on DVD’s and The Good Medicine Tin® will continue to be available to purchase by fax, email or phone.

John will continue to be our webmaster and will pursue some of his other special interests dear to his heart.

Aromatherapy and essential oils are one of the many soulful elements that truly make a difference in people’s lives and health around the world.  We appreciate you and are grateful for your continued support and loyalty over the past 20 years of my work with essential oils.

Our Best to You,
Candace and John Newman

Candace also still has some essential oil mists that offer a gentle Aroma therapeutic wash that can have immediate and profound benefits, calming the mind, balancing the emotions, nurturing the skin, cleansing the body and surrounding environment.

Merri and I especially use essential oil mists when we travel or are in public places. On the plane they freshen and purify the stale airline environment. We also use them to relieve the heat of the summer.

Essential oil mists also make great stress-free gifts.  They are always in our Christmas and birthday mix.

Candace is offering a sample of four 1 oz essential oil mist blends each in amber plastic bottle with zipper carrying case with the discount.    An Essential Oil Mist Chart is included free.

It contains:

Ecuador Beats Inflation

Living in Ecuador is one way to beat inflation.

ecuador-farming

Ecuadorians now how to live well on less.  They even farm steep land like this.

See two other ways to beat inflation below.

Beating inflation is absolutely vital now… especially for those about to retire… because Social Security is fading.

Lalla was a 14th century poetess who lived in Kashmir.  She described herself as a somewhat… something… moving dreamlike… on a fading road.

This is a perfect description for Social Security now… somewhat… something… moving dreamlike… on a fading road.

ecuador-farming

Almost every plot of spare Ecuador land is rich and growing food.

Picture this.

Excerpts from a recent AOL.Money article by Jim Kuhnhenn entitled “White House Projects $9 Trillion Deficit”: In a chilling forecast, the White House is predicting a 10-year federal deficit of $9 trillion — more than the sum of all previous deficits since America’s founding. And it says by the next decade’s end the national debt will equal three-quarters of the entire U.S. economy.  But before President Barack Obama can do much about it, he’ll have to weather recession aftershocks including unemployment that his advisers said Tuesday is still heading for 10 percent.  Overall, White House and congressional budget analysts said in a brace of new estimates that the economy will shrink by 2.5 to 2.8 percent this year even as it begins to climb out of the recession. Those estimates reflect this year’s deeper-than-expected economic plunge.

The grim deficit news presents Obama with both immediate and longer-term challenges. The still fragile economy cannot afford deficit-fighting cures such as spending cuts or tax increases. But nervous holders of U.S. debt, particularly foreign bondholders, could demand interest rate increases that would quickly be felt in the pocketbooks of American consumers.

The amount of  this debt just an astounding and will almost certainly lead to inflation and a falling US dollar.

ecuador-farming

A lot of the food grown is organic so…

ecuador-farming

the local markets, like this one in Cotacachi have low cost organic “Productos Organicos.”  This makes it easier and less expensive to eat well in Ecuador.

The article above about the deficit is bad enough news but a recent USA Today article Social Security checks set to shrink in 2010 that shows how for those who are retiring, matters are getting even worse. Here is an excerpt:  Millions of older people face shrinking Social Security checks next year, the first time in a generation that payments would not rise.

The trustees who oversee Social Security are projecting there won’t be a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for the next two years. That hasn’t happened since automatic increases were adopted in 1975.

By law, Social Security benefits cannot go down. Nevertheless, monthly payments would drop for millions of people in the Medicare prescription-drug program because the premiums, which often are deducted from Social Security payments, are scheduled to go up slightly.

Cost-of-living adjustments are pegged to inflation, which has been negative this year, largely because energy prices are below 2008 levels.

Seniors “count on that COLA,” said Barbara Kennelly, a former Democratic congresswoman from Connecticut who heads the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare. “To some people, it might not be a big deal. But to seniors, especially with their health care costs, it is a big deal.”

Even the Cathedral next to our hotel grows organic corn in the church yard.

ecuador-farming

There are numerous ways to beat this inflation crunch.

Inflation beater #1: Move to a low cost of living location like Ecuador. Inflation will hit Ecuador as well… but the starting baseline is lower.  In addition people in Ecuador know how to live well… on less.

Inflation beater #2: Own real estate or other commodities. The price of property and commodities, properly purchased will rise with inflation.  Property in Smalltown USA especially offers value now.

Inflation beater #3: Have your own business.  This is the greatest inflation beating asset of all, the ability to earn wherever you live.

This is why we offer our course Tangled Web… How to Have an Internet Business.

ecuador-farming

With so much sun and plenty of rain, the grass is rich, even in Cotacachi at 7,500 feet altitude for…

ecuador-farming

these organic cows.  Plus raw milk can be purchased directly… and at a low cost from the dairy keeping the cost of good living down.

A clear mind and healthy body are also a vital assets… plus a second language is a powerful diversification tool.

South Ecuador Beach Property

New ideas offer great opportunity so our south Ecuador beach property tour has attracted attention.

In a moment we’ll look at another green battery thought. First here is a south Ecuador beach real estate advertisement placed by our friend and attorney, Dr. Andres Cordova.

ecuador-beach-property

I’m glad to see you are doing a coastal series.  I have a program that can provide your readers with opportunity, value, service, new horizons and community.

I am very focused on Salinas real estate, especially in the Punta Carnero area.  The trend is focusing on Punta Carnero, where good planning and zoning and great initiatives will create a major opportunity. It can be the example of what Salinas could have been. It’s very early on in the process, hence the major opportunity.

I see tremendous potential and if investors and buyers are to get at the beginning of the wave that’s coming, timing is of the essence. Those who come in early on will reap the most rewards. Elements are coming together, synergy is ensuing; this is snowballing big time. Once I explain why I believe this to be occurring you to will see it as vividly as I do.

ecuador-beach-property

South Ecuador beach photo from Dr. Andres Cordova.

My idea is to not only offer value, but also services, information and structures to help investors and expats take the plunge with the most happiness, with the least stress. It’s about quality of life and sound investing.

My plan entails 6 participations of $35.000 each. Let me explain the process:

–          Each participant invests $35,000.
–          A 0.5 beachfront property in Punta Carnero is purchased and placed under a trust.
–          A 12 story, 36 condo building is designed for the lot.
–          A preconstruction sales campaigned is launched.
–          Once 30 condos are sold the investors will get a 2 bedroom, ocean view condo each, valued at $135.000.
–          The trust guarantees pre-construction buyers and investors too.
–          If project does not take off in a limited time, trust will sell the property and reimburse investors.

An investment of $35,000 offers the chance of a $135.000 condo in 18 – 24 months. The cost of the land at the time should very well suffice to cover the investment and then some.

We want to really, really stand apart on virtues of value, good design and really understanding the wants and needs of our prospective customers. We have a major teamed lined up to pull this through. I can explain the opportunity to great depth; it makes for a very compelling case.  Andres.

We have not reviewed this opportunity and investors should use all due diligence.

New Green Investing Battery Thought.

Yesterday’s message looked at a green investing opportunity for major advances in battery technology.

Several readers sent comments like this:

Hi Gary,  Thanks for your article.  I believe that you are on to the right track in looking for ways to store renewable, energy, especially PV & wind, with batteries.  I came to this same thought sometime ago and, after some research, it lead me to Zenn Motor Co. (ZNNMF).  They now own about 10% of EESTOR, which is close to presenting a truly revolutionary energy storage device.  It is essentially a high efficiency capacitor.  I won’t go into the technical aspects because you can read more than you want on some of the blogs.  If the product works even remotely close to what they are projecting, it will cause tremendous and positive change in our world.  If it doesn’t, I will have lost a few $, but the risk still looks worth it to me.

I googled  Zenn Motor Co. (ZNNMF) and read a lot of positive data about this but also saw some negative information.  This is a very high risk venture deal and I am not a penny stock venture risk taker but those of you who are may find this of interest.

Another high risk environmental share that is far more interesting to me is a far more stable company, Vestas, the Danish wind turbine manufacturer.  Vestas was one of the big winners in our green portfolio that we created with Jyske Bank.  Jyske is currently recommending  Vestas. You can see why at Jyske TV’s latest Financial Friday.

This show also shows why the US dollar may rise in the short term, but is likely to fall long term and also looks at why no Asian currency is ready to take over as reserve currency of the world.

The greatest opportunity (and risk) always comes from new ideas.  Whether  in new technology or in new places… those who jump into the winners first make the most.   Portfolio theory shows that a well managed small diversification into higher risk deals enhances the overall return of a portfolio without creating a great deal of more volatility in the portfolio.  So until next message, may all your risks be great ones.

Ecuador Real Estate Tours

A schedule of our remaining seminars and Ecuador real estate tours for 2009 is below.

There is also information about shopping in Salinas and a green investing idea.

Please note that we have added a Southern Ecuador coastal real estate tour that will be conducted by Amy Pinoargote.

Here is an interesting explanation that Amy sent about shopping on Ecuador’s southern coast.

Farm Fresh Produce in Salinas
Story and photos by Amy Pinoargote

Salinas has several large, modern grocery stores, but the savvy shoppers don’t buy their produce there.  Instead they travel just a few miles to the “Plaza” or farmer’s market in nearby La Libertad.  This huge market is open 7 days a week.  Not only is the produce sold here even fresher than that sold in the supermarkets, it also costs less.

Ecuador’s climate lends itself to year round cultivation of a variety of both familiar and exotic fruits and vegetables.  You can always find tomatoes, avocados, carrots, oranges, endless varieties of fresh beans and other staples.

ecuador-southern-coast

How much can you expect to pay?  A couple of dollars will go a long way.  The price on limes runs between 50 and 100 for $1.  You can also get two pineapples or several large, sweet mangos for $1.

Don’t expect to find neatly wrapped bunches of bananas, though.  You will see both bananas and plantains being sold by the branch.  Of course if you don’t want to buy several dozen bananas at a time they are sold in smaller quantities.  One variety you won’t to miss is the “orito.”  This miniature banana has a smooth texture and a sweet taste.  The going price is usually ten for 25 cents.

Not only is the produce fresh, the prices are low.  For example, you can get two delicious pineapples for $1.

ecuador-southern-coast

Some of the more exotic choices include cherimoya, mamey and melloco.   Cherimoya is a brownish green, heart-shaped fruit.  It’s eaten by breaking open the fruit and scooping out the white flesh.  Be prepared for plenty of seeds.

The mamey is a fruit shaped like an avocado with a dusty looking brown skin.  It is best eaten by cutting the fruit in half, removing the pit and using a spoon to scoop out the creamy, sweet orange flesh.

Melloco is a tuber that can be used in soups, stews and salads.  Although it looks like a small, purple speckled potato and tastes much like a potato, the texture is quite different.  It has a slightly slimy feel, much like okra.

The plaza also has a large, indoor fish & seafood market.  Each morning the fresh catch is brought to the market.  As with the produce, not only is the quality wonderful, the prices can’t be beat.  With a just a dollar or two you can buy enough fresh fish to make a large meal for a family of four.  Some varieties to try include corvina, dorado, pargo (snapper) and carita.  Most Ecuaodorians prefer to roast or fry the fish whole, although it is possible to buy it filleted.

Vendors are open until the mid to late afternoon, but the morning is really the best time to visit the plaza and the earlier the better.  Locals begin arriving before 7:00 a.m. to make their daily purchases.  The variety of produce and seafood available can dwindle as the day wears on.

Don’t forget to take loose change and single dollar bills.  Most vendors in the plaza may not have change for $10 or $20 bills.  Amy.

Green Investing Update

We are always looking for new investing opportunities that help the environment. Since our use of plastic  bags and bottles create a huge environmental concern,  I’m passing on an email from a reader.

I have not researched these shares in depth yet but am sending the early idea to you.

Gary, my name is Steven Stark, General Manager for a Eco Friendly company that is a leader in this technology in the US. We are a publicly traded company that has grown very quickly with major accounts such as Walgreens, CVS, A&P, Ace Hardware and etc.

We are selling a number of products that include biodegradable bags, non toxic cleansers and I am responsible for eco respectful batteries made from recycled materials.

Please let me know if you are interested in further conversation regarding our company and product initiatives. We are looking for strong clients in South America and would like to talk to you about

Bay Street Research has issued a report on the company and shares.

The report says: Perf Go Green Holdings, Inc. (“Perf Go Green” or “the Company”) is focused on the global distribution and marketing of oxo-biodegradable† plastic products that are eco-friendly, nontoxic, and compliant with ASTM D6954-04 and food contact standards. During 2008, the Company launched and marketed a total of seven biodegradable plastic products, comprising three varieties of household trash bags, plastic drop cloths, Doggie Duty™ bags, cat pan liners, and commercial trash bags—all of which biodegrade and incorporate recycled plastics. To accelerate the degradation process, Perf Go Green’s plastic products are manufactured using a prodegradant additive. Based on environmental claims made by the manufacturer of the additive, Perf Go Green believes that its products are degradable in a landfill setting within 12 to 24 months, leaving behind no toxic residue. As such, the Company anticipates that its products can offer a practical and viable solution to minimize plastic waste in the global environment. To promote consumer awareness about Perf Go Green and its products, the Company is currently implementing a diverse marketing campaign, including television, radio, national print, and online marketing, as well as search engine optimization and retail store promotions. Perf Go Green has also established a nonprofit foundation, called Go Green 21.0, to foster and promote green education initiatives worldwide. Based on agreements with major national retailers, Perf Go Green has launched products in over 22,000 retail stores to date. Headquartered in New York City, the Company began trading on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board (OTC.BB) in May 2008.

Multiple websites can help in marketing.

You may want to live on the beach, in the mountains or in an exciting city. Having a business with multiple websites can help.

Yet we use no tricks… just good content supported logically by some cross linkage from one site to the other.

We continually test how to make our sites more effective for our readers and how to make them more effective attracting new readers.

Our Gary Scott site adds about 30 new readers a day, 20 from our Pay Per Click program and 10 from referrals or search engines.

One benefit from having several sites is that you can have differing areas of focus at each site.

Our main areas of focus have been:

* Benefits of Ecuador
* Benefits of International Investing
* Benefits of International Business
* Benefits of Global Health Secrets

We are adding benefits of Sustainable Living.

Currently we are testing ways to maximize crossover opportunities.

If for example a new reader signs up for our Ecuador information, he may also have an interest in either international investing, international business or health secrets.

The tests are looking at how to expose all the foci without moving too far away from the reader’s original area of interest.

Keep in mind our 7 P Prospecting  plan is to let a reader identify a Problem via the Pathway of the search engines.  We offer a Promise (our ad) to help solve the Problem. The Promise  leads the Prospect  to our landing page which provides a Presentation about who we are and how we can help solve their Problem.  Part of the Presentation offers them a free report.  The report  is then sent every day (to develop their confidence in us) as we offer low cost but Profitably Priced Products that help solve the reader’s  Problem.

Once a reader has signed up for a free report, we fill our Promise and send them information everyday that might help the solve their Problem.

If you jump too far from the reader’s focus, too fast, you can risk confusing them, being looked at as a spammer and or as wasting the reader’s time.

You can read this entire lesson as a Tangled Web subscriber.  See how to receive this $299 emailed course free below.

International Internet Business Competition

Here is a really important point about international internet business and competition.

In a moment we’ll look at a Vilcabamba Ecuador house for sale.

Ecuador-house-for-sale

First, let’s see why your business can be an also-ran and yet bring you wild success!

Also-ran is described as:

1. A horse that does not win, place, or show in a race.

2. A loser in a competition, as in an election.

3. One that has little talent or success: just an also-ran in the art world.

Most Westerners are raised in a highly competitive environment.  “Win at all costs” is a growing credo in society.

The conditioning “to achieve” spills over when we get into business. Many make the error of thinking that their business must be #1.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

In The Kentucky Derby #1, #2 and #3 are all that count.  The Olympics award Gold, Silver and Bronze.  Everyone else is an also-ran.

In business you can finish 100th and be wildly successful.

In fact the day I produced this message, our website ranked (in terms of reach) 24,604th in the US and 10,012th in Canada.

We could hardly be happier. In fact I am not sure we could handle a faster growth rate.

A successful business requires a balance between three parties… the owners (us)… the customer… you and… the bank. The company must be profitable.

A small business dominated by many, much larger firms can still do well…. make millions in fact.

This is why we are sending you free lessons in internet marketing. Here is the third lesson.

Live Below Your Means

There is a caveat. For your business to remain balanced it (and you) must live within your means.

Most businesses have ups and downs and many inexperienced business people who meet with their  first success, spend it!  They have not learned how to survive sudden wealth.

I learned this lesson, the hard way, as a young executive, (just 25 years old).   My first job abroad was working for a new company in a hot sector.  I was the firm’s eighth employee.

My compensation included a stock option for 50,000 shares at a dollar each.  Within a couple of years the company had grown to 2,000 employees and the company  went public.   The shares were issued to the public at $20 a share.  At 25 I was already a millionaire and those were the days when you could buy more than a house for a million dollars! In fact a million then was worth about $12 to $15 million now.

I had not learned to save, lock in profits or to live below my means. My monthly salary was $750 a month so this wealth was bewildering. I bought everything I could, a new Mercedez 280 SL, a new house and I ran up some nice credit card bills.

Then the stock market collapsed. The sudden drop caused a run on the shares of the company I worked for and it with many similar firms collapsed. The entire industry tanked and the company went broke. I ended up unemployed, with no money and a lot of debt. My stock options weren’t worth the paper they were printed on.

The moral…when you make money, do not spend it all.

Most wealthy people receive their income in spurts. We saw this process regularly during the internet craze. Executives left proven fields to begin bold new startups and in an instant became billionaires!

My experience suggests that sudden financial success creates disaster as often as not.  Recipients of sudden cash make one of two mistakes.

The first mistake is to believe this is the only time there will be such an influx of cash. This tightens a person, so they can’t enjoy spending. They become afraid. Life becomes filled with paranoia. Unhappiness sets in. If money doesn’t make life better, what’s the use?

The other mistake is to think that these large chunks of cash will come easily again and again without worry or working. This thinking creates unrealistic lifestyles and work ethics that lead to disaster.

I first observed this ironic fact while living in England. A happy, financially responsible middle class family won millions in the lottery. Just a few short years after reaping this spurt of cash through supposed good luck, the husband and wife were bankrupt, divorced and no longer speaking to their kids.

I have seen example after example, of people, who received a sudden chunk of income made very unhappy by this large inflow of wealth. This is why it is a risky time when investors make a big sudden profit. The proud owner of new found wealth, buys new cars, houses and becomes very spendy. He creates overhead and debt. If there is a single reversal, everything is lost.

How much is a big hit anyway? One measure is a ten times increase in wealth. This normally is enough to make a significant difference in a person’s life. For someone with a thousand dollars in the bank, $10,000 seems like a lot. The extra money can make a difference. For someone who already has a million dollars, another million doesn’t make such a significant shift. Ten million does.

The reason spurts of profit create problems is because they disrupt our discipline. Money is discipline and our financial affairs have some form of economic routine, either self imposed or not.

We have a set of mental standards that makes us think, “I can afford this, but can’t have that”, etc. Spurts of wealth demolish these standards. Suddenly we can have many things we previously could not. We become, once again, kids in the proverbial candy shop.

Yet much of the Western world spends their lives trying to become and stay independently rich. If succeeding in this process can ruin happiness, what can we do?

First, realize that independent, permanent never-ending, fearless wealth is a process, (not a state) of a continual series of reasonable risks, mistakes, refinements, lessons and actions that culminate in getting it right. When success arrives, there is a huge income (or capital) spurt.

Understand that this is not the only time you can make a huge wad of cash.

Impose discipline. Here is a simple formula.

First, eliminate debt.

When Merri and I bought our house in Naples, we had what we thought was a large mortgage.

We bought a white board and wrote the mortgage amount on it.  Each week we paid whatever was left in our bank accounts on that mortgage and marked the new reduced balanced.  That became our weekly entertainment… paying down the mortgage rather than going to movies or dining out!  This weekly habit never took any money from us that we missed, and yet it gave us in 1 1/2 years total freedom from debt.

Second, trim overheads so they are less than income.

Third,  if you receive a large profit for the first time, immediately spend ten percent of the new money on your dreams. Buy, the Porsche. Take the world cruise. Build the new eight bedroom house. Do whatever you want that does not cost more than ten percent.

Second, give ten percent to a worthy charity. Take a little time, find a need in this world you feel really should be filled and truly give the ten percent away. Third, invest the remaining eighty percent very conservatively. Use the PIEC Everlasting Wealth system.

When we sold our house in Florida for an excellent profit,  we spent 10% to take a year off.

We gave 10% to help Ecuador’s poor.

We bought our farm and lived in a Coleman tent while we fixed up one of the old farm houses located on the farm.

Next we turned this old barn into a guest suite, all…

with cash flow. We did not touch our saved capital.

Next we built our farm office…

internet-business

and deep woods spa.

Finally we built (over three plus years) our dream house in the woods… again all…

with cash flow and without touching capital.

Manage Wealth Conservatively

Hire a good, conservative investment manager such as Jyske Bank or for Americans Jyske Global Asset Managers.

This steady, low leverage approach may slow the overall amount of wealth you build… but what you have will be more stable… less stressful and  safer wealth.

Low Cost Ecuador

One reason Ecuador has become so popular is that the low costs make it easier to live below your means.

Ecuador-house-for-sale

See this Vilcabamba Ecuador house for sale.

Finally be grateful every day, not for any lump of cash, but for the fact that even with a modest also-ran business and personal financial discipline you can enjoy wild success!

International Internet Business Using Intuition

An international internet business using intuition has the advantage of a wider field of vision.

Change, though often feared,  is our friend because it opens fields of opportunity.  Without change, we could never progress.

Problems arise however when our thought process resists rather than embraces change.  Combining our logic and intuition assures that this is less likely to happen.

Our Ecuador course on Super Thinking helps delegates learn how to absorb, retain and recall more information.  This helps improve our logic.

Delegates at a previous Ecuador Super Thinking plus Spanish course we conducted in Cotacachi.

Yet to go beyond logic we need to combine our thinking with intuition.

internet-business-intuition

Many Ecuador shamans and shamanas teach the Eagle & Condo Prophesy… a time will come when the eagle and condor fly in the skies together.   Many believe that the eagle represents logic and the condor intuition.  The prophesy says that sharing of indigenous knowledge with the technologies of science will help balance mankind.

One way to blend intuition and thinking is through playing games.

A game is a structured activity, with a set of rules. This is important… because when we game… we can create a set of rules that is beyond the norm… outside the box.

Gaming is usually undertaken for enjoyment.  This makes gaming important as well.  When we do something fun… without risk…we do it better.  We can let our imagination soar so we can see eventualities in enjoyable, non threatening ways.

Games are formalized expressions of play which allow people to go beyond immediate imagination and direct physical activity and see life’s potential in different ways.

When games eliminate play… they lose impact… thus the demise of professional sports which are no longer games… but business.

Gaming allows us to use disambiguation in resolving future conflicts.  This is because our future is often ambiguous.  In other words, our life can take a number of  paths that lead in different directions.

This leaves us asking, “What should I do?”

Gaming allows us to create a set of out-of-the-box rules that direct us in ways we would never logically reach but can imagine.  Because it is fun and without threat… we can see future opportunity in numerous expanded ways.

One way we can game is to form ideas from our intuition. Then we apply the game’s set of rules that change the circumstances of the idea.

There are two ways to let our intuition to kick in.

One way is to let outward events kick start our intuition… such as spotting birds.

Recently I mentioned how I use the heron as an intuition initiator.

Other birds are meaningful to me also.  Doves, for example, are a sign of “Thinning the veil”.  “Crows represent “Magic & Creation.”  These concepts represent archetypes that we can apply in an out-of-the box game.

internet-business-intuition

One way the Ecuador shamans taught us to trust our intuition is to hike steep trails with our eyes closed.  This is the first time we received this lesson when Merri and I along with our friend, Dr. Jay Glaser, and several others hiked into the sacred Llanganatis Valley in Ecuador.

Another way to connect with intuition is internally.

Here is how I start the gaming process when I have a question to process but have no external suggestion or archetype to use.

This is an ageless business solving technique that employs meditation, but is designed for the hard working businessman who needs to make numerous decisions at a faster and faster pace.

Whenever I have a decision to make (this can work for decisions about investing as well as business), but insufficient knowledge to make it, I sit down and write for a few minutes every single thing I can think of relating to this decision or question.

This is a private, personal brainstorming session, so I let any thought I have fly. This is an important part of the tactic because the process of writing integrates the neural muscular system. In short, I am locking the data about my decision into every aspect of my being.

Next I relax and meditate for ten minutes. You can use whatever meditative technique you know or use.

Forget (if you can) everything about the decision that has to be made.  If it stays on the mind though, that’s okay as well.  If you do not know or use a meditation technique, I highly recommend that you learn one (some sources are listed below). The power of meditation and prayer have long been scientifically proven. They move you closer to the Quantum state (in brain wave terms, you move into deeper brain wave patterns of Alpha and Theta and the integration of frontal and rear and left and right brain hemispheres improve).  Or you can say that prayer and meditation bring you closer to God. The reality is you think at a deeper level! (I have heard others say that prayer is talking to God and meditation is letting your mind settle down so you can listen to God.)

When the ten minutes of quiet is finished, I immediately write down whatever thoughts that come. These thoughts help clarify and bring to the foremost the keys to help bring forth the right decision.

This decision making process focuses the entire body on the decision, and then takes us to a deeper level of intelligence. The wisdom we all possess is profound and this technique taps depths beyond our logic.

I often come up with things I can never logically explain.  Answers often come in code, much like dreams.

If you use this tactic, you may find your thoughts are on green alligators or flying elephants.  Do not discount the thought whatever it is. Write down whatever comes to you! If you reflect on this, an answer will almost certainly appear or you will get a signal.

Maybe if you were asking yourself what new exciting thing can you do in your life and later in the day you see a circus wagon with green alligators and flying elephants the answer is “Join the circus!” or perhaps “go see or listen to Cirque du Soleil!” Or maybe if you are asking questions about your job and your mind was on rats running along a football field the answer in language may be “get out of the rat race!”

This process unlocks your intuition as well as uniting it with your intelligence.

Merri and I rarely make an important decision without using these techniques and then we pray asking for our intellect to come up with the right answer that is BEST for all parties concerned.

We live in a world of increasing change. How nice!   This means we live in a world of increasing opportunity.   We can improve our chances of opportunity if we let our imaginations unite our intuition and logic.

International Internet Business Idea

Here is an international internet business idea involving the convergence of  the future and nostalgia.

The idea is that “people want what they perceive they have lost”.

Recognizing what you feel you have lost, there are ways to to earn income wherever you live.

Problems create opportunity.

Having lost something is a problem.

Since each of us represents a unique market… if we can understand what we feel we have lost… we can understand a problem that many others also feel.

Here is a case study about this.

I feel that we have lost simpler times… when we were not so dependent on a system that is so far beyond of our control.

For example, if for any reason the internet does not work… I am out of business.

If for any reason the national food distribution system stops, I cannot eat.

If for any reason, gasoline supplies are cut off, I cannot travel.  Etc. Etc.

Access to these supplies are beyond my control.

That is one reason that we moved to an isolated North Carolina  farm 11 years ago.. a survival place… where we also love to be even though the system we depend upon is working fine.

I would like this farm to be more independent and sustainable.

The growing risks of a social economic systemic meltdown have created a window where the past and future have come together.

We perceive we have lost a simple, independent life.  In the future we may need to be more independent again.

So we can logically ask, “What needs for the future are now here?”

Here are five “the future is now” investing and business trends that have merged. They seem to have a bright future.

#1: Gain value added. This is the era when small and flexible are beautiful. Modern community technology makes it possible for even micro businesses to virtually integrate. I’ll give you a specific in a moment.

#2: Invest in real estate. I know, I know people keep saying that prices are going down. Yet these same people keep having kids without making more land. This looks like an opportunity distortion to me.

#3: Bet on inflation. I do not see how with the massive government bailouts this will not happen everywhere…to a great extent.

#4: Invest in alternative power and sustainability. The same fundamentals as for real estate are at work…more kids…no more fresh water…trees…soil…clean air…etc. Plus one factor more. Each child born expects more.

#5: Invest in natural health. The current social economic lifestyle is flawed.  The acquisition of stuff creates too much work…leading to too much stress…with too little time…and poor nutrition…leading to pharmaceutical and surgical intervention. This intervention costs too much and is not a pleasant, effective approach that optimizes maximum human efficiency.

I believe that anyone who invests or has a business in these areas has great potential.

Based on this belief, I am working with a team that is assembling a proposal for what we can do with our land creating a Draftwood Village, micro hydro power supply, etc.

That team has been organized by Ian Snider…  the formulator of the Draftwood concept.  Draftwod… sustainable harvested, value added timber hauled out by draft horses.

Here is Ian mowing hay near the old farm house they live in on the South Fork of the New River.

international-business-ideas

Here is Ian’s wife, Tracy, with their draft horse, Frank, discing their sweet sorghum cane field.

business-marketing-ideas

With these thoughts in mind we are taking our next step here at the farm which was originally an investment in real estate (#2 above). Plus our move here was also an investment in water. We have dozens of springs. This one for example, called the “Indian’s Trough”, is a historical site and produces many gallons of water a second.

springs

This one spring alone provides all the water in our home and fills a small waterfall in our backyard, and waters all the animals out back.

waterfall

Plus fills the wood fired, hot tub we have in the deep woods.

enviro spa

Spring water fills the tub.

enviro-spa-entrance

Fallen wood heats the water which comes from the spring year round at 49 degrees F. We usually soak at 105 to 110 F.

enviro-hot-tub

There are dozens of the springs on the property…hundreds of rivulets leading to streams and pretty soon they form our creeks, waterfalls…

water-falls

and ponds.

water-southern exposure

Our land rises nearly 1,000 feet. You can see the rise on an aerial photo. The blue lines are roads on the farm. The bald at the top sits at 4,000 feet. Our entrance at 3,000+.

water-view

At the bottom of the farm we have a rushing creek pushed by hundreds of feet of drop.

creek-power

We are combining this fact with a bet on inflation and an investment on sustainability and alternative power (#3 and #4 above) and plan to move our farm off the grid so we can live in a healthier, wealthier, more independent way. Not all alternate energy is cost effective at this time…at current energy rates. I expect the rates to rise so am willing to speculate by investing in energy saving and producing capital now.

Here is the plan we are working on that enhances the value added aspect of our business (#1 above). We have some great home sites on the farm. Some have some great locations for solar, hydro and wind power.

Many of our meadows have southern views and are filled with morning and evening sun.

multi-currency-solar-power

Our home has a complete southern exposure and was built with 13 inch concrete filled, styrofoam insulated, heat retaining walls.

southern exposure

The 12 large glass windows and doors let the sun pour in all day. Even when it is freezing outside you can nearly heat the house with a candle.

Other sustainability assets include wind potential in places on the land that are high, sunny and exposed.

Our vision for the farm is evolving like this…homes that can support themselves: …energy…food…and water…but connected to the world.

There is more value added potential in…wood. A nearby business specializes in sustainable logging…with horses. See www.mtnworks.org

horse-logging

This allows one to work on an entirely integrated plan…harvesting and milling wood…to build houses and cabins on sites like this…that

multi-currency-solar-view:

are off the grid with solar, wind and water power and with enough land to grow one’s own organic food.

These and other qualities also lead to many natural health opportunities so we have a complete opportunity to create opportunity from all five of the the “future is now” investing and business ideas above.

This plan is filled with value added potential. We can help our forest with sustainable logging.

The wood can be used for the cabins.

We can offer courses that teach people the logging, the milling, how to build the cabins.

We can teach people how to save via off the grid living and even help them obtain off the grid equipment. Plus we gain off the grid homes for our retreat center.

I expect this will make new avenues so our business can change and grow in the next five to ten years…just as Ecuador altered our life and business a previous decade ago.

This process feels right to us and we are proceeding.

As Ian at Mountainworks points out we could offer some great value added benefits that combine the past and future.   Here is how he describes what we could do.

“Come stay for a week this winter and ski/snow shoe our horse logging trails, learn how to sustainably select your trees for the perfect bluegrass guitar….take the reins for a turn driving the draft horses as they carefully remove the chosen wood…soak in the wood fired hot tub after a day of custom sawing your lumber….dine on the finest game of the field or our preserved farm veggies with homemade wine…return late next spring to assemble your dream instrument in time for pickin at the summer festivals…stake your claim in our exclusive Draftwood Village of custom built carbon positive cottages….”

Live Anywhere – Earn Everywhere

While the world is distracted by American politics, a more important power struggle is taking place.

If that struggle is lost what’s left of our privacy, the safety of our food supply, the control over our health, the safety of our money and even the sanctity of our opinions and thoughts could be lost.

Almost half of America’s voters rejected the postwar global economic order.  This has left a cloud of uncertainty over the U.S. and world economies.

Markets and social order can collapse at any time.

Shooters are on the rampage.

ISIS is mowing down riders on bikes.

We are no longer safe… in shopping centers, at festivals, even in the church.

Yet the bigger danger grows.   This struggle is taking place, right now.

You can read about tiny parts of this conflict daily in the news.   Most of the clash however is hidden from view.  There are horrible consequences hidden beneath the visible spin.

There is an association forming that can ruin our health care, nutrition and the environment.  A group that can control what you read on the internet, see over cell phones, watch on TV and what trends in social media.

Everything you write or say can recorded and be used  to control what you hear and read.

The warning shot, above the surface, is the merger between Bayer and Monsanto.  This union is horrible enough, yet it’s only the tip of the iceberg.

Seven companies are involved in a more sinister plot.

The momentum of this dangerous alliance has picked up faster than anticipated.

I began researching and preparing a report “Learn Anywhere, Earn Everywhere” when the Bayer-Monsanto merger was the big deal.   They are two of the seven firms involved in this almost invisible take-over of our food and medical services as well as the internet, cell phones and TV.

I started researching when I saw the hidden depths of this Bayer-Monsanto merger.  I was truly concerned and shocked because my research discovered that the consolidation of Bayer and Monsanto is not the biggest merger nor the most dangerous by far.

I miscalculated how much time we have.  I went to work on the report right away, taking my time to delve deeply, but even before I have finished the report, events have begun to heat up.   The pace of this hidden unification has increased.  Now another merger is taking place, far more destructive and the alliance has an incredible lobby program working to make sure that the deal goes through.

A triad of three huge concerns and four smaller ones with hundreds of billions of dollars have built one of the most formidable lobbying operations in Washington.  Nearly 100 registered lobbyists are already on retainer and they include former members of Congress.   One company in this heptagon is also the largest donor to federal lawmakers.

The donations we know of equal more than $11 million paid to 374 of the House’s 435 members and 85 of the Senate’s 100 members in this election cycle.

This deadly seven point affiliation is likely to snake into almost every part of our livelihood.

One part of the cartel will increase our dependence on modified food that can purposely increase our needs for pharmaceuticals manufactured and sold at outrageous prices by another arm of the group.

The organizations will know more about us than any other group in existence.  They will (in fact they already are) act as spies for the government.  This amalgamation will control what ads we see, the products we buy, listen into our phone calls and even monitor and influence what we see on TV.

Sadly most of the public will not even know that this fusion has taken place.  Life will appear to go on as normal.  They won’t even see the change as what’s left of their good life which could be drained away by corporate malfeasance.

This is why I am rushing a report to you so you can be one of the few who avoid the ruin of this alliance and gain rather than lose from the shift.

The report “Live Anywhere – Earn Everywhere” contains seven steps we can take to gain benefits and protection from this cartel.

Here is some background.  At the beginning of the 20th century, Carl Duisberg, the head of Bayer, created a profit sharing cartel from three firms BASF, Bayer and Agfa, called the Dreibund (Triple Alliance) or little IG.

This German chemical association dominated commerce everywhere under the name of IG Farben, the largest company in Europe, the 4th largest anywhere and the largest chemical company in the world.

Because “Power Corrupts” this company morphed into something truly evil before and during the Second World War.

After WWII IG Farben was considered so morally corrupt it could not be allowed to continue to exist and was split into its original constituent companies.  Today Agfa, BASF, Sanofi and Bayer remain.

This is where facts become truly scary.  Some of these very same companies have merged with other mega concerns to create a new American Dreibund (a Triple Alliance dominating the USA).   This new cartel has such power it can take control of your food, your medicine and even influence, if not control, what you read and the information you access for health and wealth.  Even worse, they can monitor everything you do and give it to others in government and business as well.

From a political point of view we cannot do much about this alliance.   The cartel has hundreds of billions of dollars and hundreds of lobbyists.  They are making their big move right now, to take advantage of the current political distraction.  They know that after an election politicians are willing to accept bad news because it will be forgotten in four years.

In addition their greatest enemy in the government has only a couple of months left as the head of the Federal agency that will fight this cartel.

Only a few people will know how to take advantage of the shifts created from the results of this alliance.

The sooner we act, the greater the benefits.   This is why I want to rush my newest report “Live Anywhere-Earn Everywhere” to you.  This report shares how to protect what you have from this coalition that is taking over mainstream media, our food supply as well as our medical history, health care and communications.

Fortunately a loophole can set you free.  You can protect what you have and actually improve your situation, a lot.  Merri and I have already jumped though the loophole and want to share why and how you should too.

How to Gain Extra Freedom – While Almost Everyone Loses Theirs.  Become a Pruppie!

May I coin a new word, Pruppie?

We all know about preppers.  They believe that the world, as we know it, is about to end.  And we also know about Uppies, upward professionals as in Yuppies, young upward professionals.  Uppies expect their world to get better.

The reality is that our worlds have changed and for most of us, there is still great opportunity for a better lifestyle, yet the preppies could be right.

I invite you to join Merri and me as Pruppies, those who expect the world to get better and live and earn based on that expectation but enjoy a progressive lifestyle of freedom that also happens to prepare us for bad times as well as good.

Just in case… the world goes sideways… we will still survive and prosper anyway.  We do not give up anything much.  We can enjoy the good parts of the new economy, as we protect ourselves from what can be bad.

For example in this report, you’ll see how to make your dining room table bring you more control, more time, more income and more freedom.  After all, what can be more accessible than a dining room table?

ecuador-banks

You’ll even learn how to turn dining room tables into income and tax deductions as we have with these dining room tables we build out of local wood.

Let me be clear.  I expect that the world will get better, at least for the few who adapt and avoid the dangers the American Dreibund has planned for the public.  The wealth of the world, albeit with inequality, has continued to grow.  There is an incredible new economy that’s opening for those who know what to do.  There are great new opportunities and many of them offer enormous income potential and they even work well in disaster scenarios.

Let me provide one simple, concrete example.  Ginseng.

This is a great health root.  The demand is growing especially in China.  At times good dried Ginseng sells for $1,000 a pound!  This is an incredible and easy crop to grow.   The less care you give it, the more valuable it can become.  Yet if everything goes south, the health qualities will be good to have and make it an excellent barter item.  Once you know what to do with ginseng, it’s easy to grow in your back year.

Even better one of the best kept secrets is that ginseng and 125 other medicinal crops that are currently unsustainable but can be grown on land  that is extraordinarily cheap.

Ginseng growing in our back yard.  I know about growing ginseng through experience and explain why and how in the report.

There are are specific places that reduce your living expenses, easily increase your income, make you smarter, healthier and provide tax benefits as well.

Learn about these specific places.  More important learn what makes these places special and seven freedom producing steps that you can use to find other similar spots of opportunity.

Here are some of the experiences this report shares:

The report includes a tax and career plan broken into four age groups, before you finish school, from age 25 to 50 – age 50-to 65 and what to do when you reach the age where tradition wants you to re-tire.  (Another clue-you do not need to retire and probably should not).

The report is very specific because it is about what Merri and I, our children and even my sister and thousands of our readers have done and are doing.

Live Anywhere – Earn Everywhere focuses on a system that takes advantage of living in Smalltown USA, but earning globally.

  • Learn about the magic of the north facing slope.   This is where Merri and I live almost half of our time.  North facing mountain land is some of the least expensive in the world but has hidden values that the report reveals.  There is a lot of this land and a lot of hidden value that you can tap.   When we bought our Blue Ridge farm (252 acres) I mentioned this to my Swiss banking friend.  “That’s bigger than the entire village where I live!” was his response.  Smalltown USA offers a last chance at having a lot of space.  By living in two Smalltown places there are enormous tax advantages as well.  One step in the system saves Merri and me over $28,345 in taxes a year.

The report shows how to buy cheap north facing slopes and create an income producing tiny home for $29,000 or less.

If you lack the $29,000 to invest, a start up using tents is even less.  These are tipis we put up at our farm before we built our first tiny home.  Learn how they can create tens of thousands of dollars in income for you.

Fwd: gary-scott-tipis

  • See ways that small businesses like Tipi rentals can create BIG tax savings as well as extra income.  For more than 30 years Merri and I have enjoyed a strong six figure income, some years more, in the millions.  Yet there have been very few years when we had to pay federal income tax.  The report lays out a three structure program and how it is used when you are in school (up to age 30), then from 25 to 50, 50 to 70  and beyond 70.   Learn why Chapter C corporations and pensions can be better than the normally recommended Chapter S.  See how new mileage log rules gives you a possible opportunity to increase your tax deductions using IRS Form 4562.  Using a two-vehicle strategy you can gain $12,976 in new deductions even if you do not have to drive one mile further or spend one additional penny on your car.
  • See how a greenhouse can help you eat better and be healthier, plus provide income and a tax deduction and be funded by a government grant.

gary-scott-farming

  • There are similar benefits from having a second home office defined in IRS publication 463 and IRS publication 587, even if your desk is a dining room table.  The report also shows how your dining room table can become an actual income producer as its creates a huge tax deduction at the same time, not to mention a great place to eat, work and lay out plans for a brighter, safer more lucrative and enjoyable future.
  • Living in this environment is also healthier, economically as well as physically.  You’ll see in the report how researchers at Harvard found an amazing correlation between living in conditions found on north facing slopes, longevity and mental health.  The researchers were quite surprised by this strong correlation that also extended into mental health.  In addition to feeling better, reducing stress and having more Joie de Vivre the places outlined in “Live Anywhere-Earn Everywhere” can help you avoid hospitals, high cost disease management (aka health care) and BIG pharma while providing an investment opportunity in three plants that have some of the fastest growing demand in natural health care.  These three plants are just one of seven business opportunities that can create multiple streams of income.
  • How changes in cell phone and internet technology eliminated the need to be in one place.   An old law that creates new opportunity for small business in small towns is available to everyone.
  • Use the specific search and purchase guide.  Construction plans are included that show how to generate first tier income that leads to five, second tier avenues of earnings.
  • How to pay off old debt and avoid new debt by avoiding spurts and embracing value.
  • Learn seven skills that will always have value.  See how to turn First Aid, medicinal plants, hospitality, food, trees, alternate energy and writing to sell into everlasting, low stress wealth.
