Ecuador Real Estate in the Mystical Andes

Though numerous delegates on the recent Ecuador Real Estate in the Andes tours told me they bought Ecuador real estate, this is not an Ecuador real estate buying trip. The tour is to help you get a feel for Ecuador property values, business ideas and lifestyles and is an introduction to this gorgeous part of the world where Merri and I live. This tour is about much more than just Ecuador real estate.

The Ecuador Real Estate and Mystical Andes Tours are for two days in the Province of Imbabura. You should arrive in Quito one or two days before. You can depart the evening of the last day of the tour or the morning after.

We scan Ecuador newspapers looking for unique properties and put our subscribers directly in touch…thus avoiding brokerage fees.

Even better we also help delegates save by asking developers (since we are not brokers and do not to accept real estate commissions) to provide discounts to our subscribers if they buy property.

Tour delegates can subtract 2% of the prices and we put them in touch with the developer and a real estate attorney who has taken care of many similar transactions. There are 18 condos available in the 4 buildings.

One huge benefit in using our service versus relying on brokers or travel agents is that we are not trying to sell real estate. You get our honest opinion based on 40 years of international business and 13 years residence in Ecuador.

We conduct these real estate tours to help our subscribers learn Ecuador’s real estate market in the most efficient way.

We share the experiences we have gained living, traveling and working globally for 40 years and have been investing living and doing business in Ecuador for 13 years.

We have an active Ecuador business and have personally purchased a 962 acre hacienda, condos in the mountains, a house, a hotel plus condos and apartments on the beach. Our tours share our continual research and experiences in global business, living and investing in Ecuador.

We travel to Otavalo the largest Indian market in South America . We’ll spend time in this colorful market (which is an experience of a lifetime) before we visit Ecuador real estate for sale in Otavalo and Imbabura Province , especially around Cotacachi the leather village where we live. (Plus we’ll take some time to shop here and look at more export potential.)

We usually find at least one hacienda on the market (our last looked at a 60 acre estate and hacienda with 50 Jersey Cows and a cheese factory that makes 20 cheeses a day (sold at $30 each) and stores them in a cave. Here is that hacienda’s entrance.

You’ll see brand new, very nice Ecuador apartments like the one where we now live.

These wonderful Ecuador condos are selling from $46,500 and have wonderful gardens.

We love the gardens because you can grow everything here, tropical to most northerly things. The flowerbeds are full of tropical impatiens (four feet high), lilies, geraniums and much more, but roses also thrive here.

They are on three levels. All the dirt you see will be done in brick pavers.

You’ll also see wonderful houses like this that has this view of Lake Quiccocha .

We’ll visit the trout filled San Pablo Lake and look at numerous lake front properties plus learn about empty high Andes lakes such as this ( Lake Pinan).

This Ecuador real estate and mystical Andes tour includes a trip to Peguche (the Village of the Weavers) and hand made handicrafts plus we’ll have a workshop on how to export custom made goods from the only wholly Indian owned woolen mill in the world. We lunch in Peguche with the indigenous community and dine native style (dancing, singing, live music that is heart felt to say the least). There we also see one of Barra Viejo’s buildings. You will see how you can build (or have built) incredibly beautiful homes for as low as $45 a square foot.

We’ll see houses in gated communities. This one sold for $85,000 at one of our previous tours.

Sometimes we find sleepers like this one that went for $25,000.

This Ecuador real estate and mystical Andes tour includes group transportation to and from Quito plus group travel in the Andes but does not include private travel to and from Quito, food or accommodations.

Rates at our colonial inn El Meson de las Flores begins at $59 a night (plus 22% service & tax). This includes a full served breakfast served in our courtyard by our friendly staff.

Low Costs

Our seminar and tour fees remain as they were in 2007 and 2008. Merri and I run our business from home and our internet only structure keeps our overheads low. By conducting many smaller tours we keep our staff at a minimum so our fees run as low as a third of what other seminar and tour companies charge… yet again and again we are told that they are the best.. most personal and of course we have way more experience than anyone else. We are not selling real estate but are simply offering tours to help you to understand the country, the areas, the prices so you can make an informed decision.

In addition we do not accept commissions or any form of compensation from hotels where our delegates stay, or from sellers of real estate on our tours. Instead we negotiate low room rates and try to get real estate sellers to offer discounts to our our tour delegates.

Split Sessions Available North and South

Our new split session seminars help those who have asked to attend courses but who cannot make it to Ecuador right now. These courses… both our International Business & Investing and Super Thinking + Spanish seminars will have the first session conducted in Central Florida (Mt. Dora) or the Blue Ridge in North Carolina. Then those who choose the second optional session can travel to Ecuador for the remaining real estate or shamanic minga tours that follow immediately after the first session.
