For this assistance I have two videos here that can change your life in a most positive way.
The first video shows that you can refuse to accept the tyranny of reason that modern education tries to impose. Let me explain.
Our Super Spanish program has been growing nicely because so many people are like me… incapable of conjugating verbs or understanding past present and plu perfect tenses (and whatever!) etc.
It seems quite ironic… earning a good living and fulfilled life… as a writer since I failed at grammar and could never diagram a sentence in school. I still get confused about things other than a rumor that you can’t end sentences with certain parts of speech and Winston’s Churchill’s comment about that…. “This is the sort of English up with which I will not put.”
Even funnier is the fact that I teach Spanish when my two years of high school Latin were total abysmal failures. The minute a teacher says something like… “Latin verbs have four main patterns of conjugation. As in a number of other languages, most Latin verbs have an active voice and a passive voice. There also exist deponent and semi-deponent Latin verbs (verbs with a passive form but active meaning), as well as defective verbs (verbs with a perfect form but present meaning)”… my mind has totally freaked out. Semi deponent what?
If you have a passion… pursue it! The heck with what education says we can and cannot do. I love to write and have always enjoyed the process so I just sat down and did it… the English teachers be damned. Do not let anyone tell you why you cannot turn your passion into profit. You do not have to accept the tyranny of their reason.
Writing and speaking languages are experiential not educational processes. The way to get good at them is to then create first… study second.
I receive many emails like this one a reader sent last week: Gary, I have taken 3 Spanish classes here in Cuenca, and a private teacher for 3 months. Not to mention the Pimsler program, and I lived in Mexico for a year as a kid. But i still can’t speak well enough to be confident. I believe it is because everyone teaches the same way. I have also taken and dropped out of 4 college Spanish classes within the 1st month. (doesn’t look good on my transcript, and i am a 3.8 student and on the honor roll – that was just last semester in the US). There is nothing worse than trying hard to learn something when it isn’t taught correctly. Thank you.
Most Spanish courses teach you Spanish grammar. Super Thinking + Spanish teaches communication.

When, in the state of relaxed concentration, we tap into the higher intelligence that we all possess. An example of the human ability is shown in this 3 minute video on relaxed concentration.
This video sent to me by our pronunciation coach, Don Childs, shows a modern day samurai, Isao Machii who can have a pellet fired at him from 70 ft away and draw his sword and cut the pellet into two pieces on the fly.
A scientist in the video explains “This is about processing on an entirely different sensory level, he is not visually processing it, this is a different level of anticipatory processing”.
A normal person would take 3 tenths of a second to process the sound of the gun and by the time that he started to draw the sword, the pellet would have past them.
Watch this video and look at the samurai’s face. He is in a state of complete awareness and knows what the path of the pellet will be in the future and acts to intercept it. He becomes pure action. He is tuned in at the universal level… just as our delegates do in Super Spanish.

Hello! I was SO excited to read about the possibility of getting a full scholarship to a Super Thinking/ Spanish Course. The course I am most interested in is November 2-3-4 in Florida. I have a very limited income, but with a full scholarship and my sister watching my son, I will be able to pay for transportation to Florida as well as other small expenses that might not be covered.
Here’s my story (short version):
I am hoping to move with my son to Ecuador within the next 2 years and thus far know very little spanish. I am even more excited to learn the Lozanov system!! It will change my life dramatically to be able to think clearly, learn efficiently, and be able to retain more information! I am a single mother of a wonderful 9.5 year old boy who deserves my best, but I’ve been struggling with depression for 12 or so years, and living with a “heavy fog” on my brain, making it extremely difficult to concentrate, remember, and manage stress. I have not been taking depression medication as I feel meds only mask or numb the problem. I truly believe that with new super-thinking strategies, I will overcome my depression and really feel motivated and alive again! It’s time to use all of my great creative ideas for good cause! I wish to impact the world, at least small communities, in an exciting positive way and I believe in giving back whenever and where ever I can! Please please please consider me for a scholarship! I would like to apply for your scholarship program for the March, Mt Dora Super thinking/ Spanish workshop. I am a missionary working for a small, non-denominational organization called Issa International. I have been on a medical sabbatical for over a year with a blood clot on my brain. I have just this month been released by the doctors to go back to work. I work in Tanzania, Cuba and Ecuador. Knowing how to speak Spanish at least conversationally would greatly enhance my work. I have always relied on translators in my work (except for Tanzania because I speak Swahili). But I now work more in the Spanish speaking countries and our budget has taken a serious downturn during my illness. It would help me get back on my feet if I could attend a workshop and return to the field a Spanish conversant. Thank you for considering my application. God’s blessings on you both.

Since my return in 2009 from a year working abroad in India, I have been lost. I had spent everything on a B.F.A. in graphic design and realized I did not want a career in advertising. I could not blindly create while so many starve, pollution grows and more and more trees are cut down.
Scraping by on $400-$800 a month, I have finally found what I can to do. I am selling my car, saving every ounce and heading to Costa Rica in January 2013 to gain a Permaculture Design Certificate. “Permaculture is an ecological design system for sustainability in all aspects of human endeavor. It teaches us how build natural homes, grow our own food, restore diminished landscapes and ecosystems, catch rainwater, build communities and much more.”
If I am able to take your course, I will gain the confidence in helping humanity transistion into peaceful co-existence with nature. I am excited for the future and hope we can share our reality. Thank you for creating the Super Thinking scholarship. In 2010, I started import/export business in Japan. Before I could add language training and publishing, the earthquake wiped out my market. I faced bankruptcy. Thanks to my language and teaching abilities, I survived, but the debt is significant.
My previous business experience resulted in a two-year contract with a global company. Unfortunately, the internal politics make new projects very difficult. Contract extension may not happen. Either way, I have half a year to prepare an exit strategy or face bankruptcy again.
I use five languages (Polish, Japanese, English, Czech and Russian) and understand written text in another 10. I am half way through developing an online English course for Japanese who are hopeless with languages. I need a special approach like Super Thinking (ST) to make them successful.
There is a big problem in Japan with jobs for new college graduates. Using ST, language training and my international experience, I will be able to assist them in becoming global players.
I want to develop a method to learn 5 languages simultaneously. Based on ST English => Spanish method, I want to add Italian and Brazilian or/and French; maybe Romanian. This would start in Japan, Singapore and Poland.
The next step would be Slavic, Asian and German languages to find language groups I could work with using ST. All this will be supported by publishing and international business consulting projects mainly in Japan and Europe, though with Spanish, the South American market might be very interesting.

Wow! Thanks for posting this Gary! I am also a disabled veteran, suffering from bi-polar disorder, post traumatic syndrome, and loss of hearing in both of my ears. I wear hearing aides, “appliances” as they like to call them. Not what I imagined I would be wearing at 43! My husband and I are both Realtors here in Alabama, I am a stay at home mom and keep my license because after being diagnosed 13 years ago it was my first big accomplishment! We have a sixteen year old at home still, the last in a line of seven, and look forward for him going to college at the University of Alabama where he will study to be an engineer. He wants to travel the world and build for less fortunate countries and the people who reside there. My husband and I both know that what ever social security (if there is any!) and my disability check from Social Security will not allow us to maintain the house we now live, much less pay the bills. We are really studying Equador, and have not only my mom and step-dad, but a few friends that have also expressed interest in Equador! I would appreiciate any insight on how we may get down there for a visit, without costing us an arm and a leg! My problem is qualifying for the scholarship program you just started. (I believe the Law of Attraction works.) I am a Korean Vet with no physical handicaps but I did have a heart attack and a TSA in 2006. I am 83 years young and have quite a variety of interests. I am a widower twice and live alone. With gas prices and real estate taxes on my home; there isn”t much left over with a social security of $955 per month.

This delegate’s comments about “belonging and feeling like a brother” to the other delegates is a wonderful refrain we have heard from our readers, year after year.
24 years ago Merri and I created a way that readers can join us to be immersed in a year-long learning program through our International Club.
The ideas behind this program began all those years ago in Vienna, Austria while we were conducting a course there. One of our older delegates, had some sort of attack. The first fear was heart trouble. Several delegates took him to the hospital. Others stayed with him there. I don’t think that delegate was alone for a minute!
What impressed Merri and me was that no one asked the delegates to help this man.
The friendships of delegates sharing many courses had just grown so strong that it was a natural reaction, just as if a family member was ill. Fortunately, it was only travel fatigue and the delegate didn’t miss a session of the course!
When you join our International Club 2013 you become part of a special family. The very first member to join the club all those years ago wrote, Thank you for the enjoyable and informative courses. I am pleased to be part of your international family and look forward to continuing my education at the next course.
His feeling struck a familiar chord. It has always been one of my greatest satisfactions to see how much fun delegates have getting together, sharing information and making friendships as we learn how to improve our health and increase our wealth.
