There is brass.

Successful investing comes from having a different point of view. Perspective is everything.For example according to the Senior Job Bank:

• 75% of 50-year-olds have less than $5,000 in the bank for retirement.
• At age 65, 45% of Americans depend on relatives forfinancial support, 30% depend on charities, 23% are still working (most work until they are no longer physically able), and only 2% are self-sustaining.
• Between 1995 and 2005, the number of workers 55 and older will have increased by about 31% — from 16 million to 21 million.
• There are now more than 33 million people age 65 or older living in the U.S. By the year 2030, it is expected that this population will exceed 70 million.

These seem like horrible statistics. Frightening. Yet inspired investors will see nothing but opportunity. Take for example numbers like this in a country that is increasing its welfare and social security benefits. This means that the government will be paying more and more. Throw in the fact that now 64% of Americans are obese. Mix in an increased health benefits system. This seems really scary. How can a government afford to pay and provide medical care for 30 million or more poor, overweight elderly people? It cannot. Does this throw you into a panic?

Inspired investors see the opportunity. For example if these statistics continue, the U.S. dollar will collapse. We have these financially unfeasible demographics plus a Texas "guns and butter" President. The last time this happened (in the 70s during Wall Street's last downslide) inspired investors tripled their investments by shifting from U.S. dollars to Swiss francs, Japanese yen and German marks.

So start looking for what seems wrong. This (especially during these turbulent times) is where you will find investments that are inspired!
